- I and Carrick from @CoasterHour got to visit Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk when they celebrated Giant Dipper’s 100th anniversary! Here I give my thoughts on Giant Dipper and explored the rest of my first every boardwalk park.
Just to clarify, this vlog happened on May 18th, 2024, unlike what the video said.

I grew up with this boardwalk and ride (giant dipper) I remember when it turned 90😂

It opened up on May 17th, 1924
Caltrain really wants to add service between Santa Cruz and Watsonville once a station opens there. Especially with the planned 2-3 peak round trips, it would make more sense to me to add a bus between Gilroy and Santa Cruz which could connect Caltrain to Gilroy Gardens, Mt Madonna Park, Watsonville, and various attractions in Santa Cruz
That’ll make it very nice for people visiting the area
They had that once but it was only for Santa Cruz back in like the 1990s and early 2000s

True, but wow, does the place get insanely crowded in the summer.
I’m sure the vibes will be better in the summer, but I still had a fantastic experience at this park!
The Boardwalk is really nice when it is sunny but it still had an amazing atmosphere when we went!
