Super video. I agree with your opinion about being super meticulous about cleaning a weapon. We were held to high standards in the military and I find the “tool gun” guys weren’t military. They never learned that. Good on you.
Thank you so much for your detail. I have a number of Sigs on a 1911 platform, but this is my first venture into the ARs. This video may well be a lifesaver. Heaven knows that the manual is never detailed enough. Thanks again.
Wow this is a excellent video on how to take this down even with the video I struggled to take it apart and put it back together this is my first time taking it down but I’m sure I will have to take it down a couple more times in order not have. To watch the takedown thanks for a great video
Excellent, thank you so much for such a great instructive video and for keeping it straight through. I feel ready to clean my "Rubia" now. (that's how I named mine)
I have an MPX K. The instruction manual that came with it is for the regular MPX. The K is more like the Copperhead in a number of ways as far as field stripping. The one thing that is different between all three (from what I can tell) is the how the OP Rod goes on to the carrier. My MPX K seems to have a very small pin in it that is somehow keeping me from removing it. Do you have advise?
Look up the copperhead K, it is a copperhead but with the 4.5” K barrel. Also has Mlok, threaded barrel, and timeny trigger. It’s basically if the copperhead and the mpx K had a baby. It might be what you’re looking for
First off, thanks for the informative video. Question for you--how do you like this thing so far? The logical side of me tells me that everything about the gun is stupid--the 3.5" barrel, the integral muzzle device, the fact that Sig historically had not made great long guns, etc... but for whatever reason, I've been lusting after this tiny thing even with all its flaws
Thanks for watching. I really appreciate it. Sig Sauer makes great weapons, regardless of internet rumors and such. When something is wrong, they fix it quickly. I haven't seen any problems with the MPX's that we've shot over here. This Copperhead belongs to a customer. He loves it. I like it too. As far as the short barrel thing, I think its cool. Makes a great motorcycle gun for the saddlebag or backpack. I wish they let us carry the MPX on duty. 100% reliable and consistently accurate with all barrel lengths.

I know this is five years ago, but thanks very much. You've saved me loads of time and frustration taking this thing down.
Thank you for watching!
@ 9:50 “Pride in ownership”... thank you sir. Those words are 100% correct. Thanks for the video!
I appreciate your attention to detail, I have 5 Sigs including this one. I take excellent care of them, but you’ve motivated me to take it up a notch

Great video
Is there a torque spec for the barrel ? Online it said 25 but others show 40- 45 which would be the correct torque setting?
@@adriancedeno8788 I don’t know for sure. You may want to contact Sig to get the definitive answer.
So can I change uppers
Great detailed video probably best out these guns are amazing.🇺🇸🍻🤜🏻
Wow really great video. For a cleaning like that, how many rounds do you recommend for a cleaning like that? Again, thanks for the video.
Keanon Gilliam I clean after every range session, regardless of round count. 👍🏼
@@SkullCrushInc Good to know, again thanks!
Hello, im looking at buying one of these but cant decide whether i want the copperhead or the mpx k. Any thoughts on the copperhead?
Can’t go wrong with either one. Both are excellent choices. I personally like the standard MPX with an 8” barrel.
