Love the visualization of items collected on the side. The extra work you put into these videos makes them so much better, great work yet again GaRan :)
If you're going for max percent, there is one missile pack that you can collect twice. The missile behind power bomb blocks in the upside down area. I was able to collect it in both normal and upside down mode. It's a bug of course, so I don't know how to reproduce it. Just that it's possible.
Really great speedrun of a really great hack! I have to ask though, are the item fanfares edited out or was there some way to skip them that I missed while playing?
I don’t understand your question much ^^! (my English is not very good!), did you mean the Missile pack at 8:11? It’s really disappeared when I get there :/
@@garan1988 The music that plays when you get an item is shorter than normal, is that in game or did you edit the video to make the music shorter? (If you are still having trouble understanding tell me your main language and I can Google translate what I'm trying to say lol)
@@exister6652 ah, I understood ^^ Yes I edited to make it shorter, because items are a bit close to each others (to make more actions, less time paused!)
@@garan1988 lol yeah but hack designers need to just accept that, then i can TAS the hack and superjump. No x-ray = no TAS from me. I don't see what the big deal is anyway, its not like everyone is going to come into every hack and start wallcrawling, g-mode'ing and superjumping everywhere. These things require planning and routing.
@@johnsonmcsandwhich6576 Author here - Xray serves no function to those who are experienced with Super Metroid in general, as they will often know by intuition where to look for hidden items. X ray is useful as a HUD item as it can be replaced with other custom functions, such as heat visor.
Awesome showcase as usual. I played this rom hack myself, and my only question is can the item fanfare actually be skipped? Or is the video edited for pacing reasons?

wow nice to know this, thanks :) normally their would shared the same ID, so yes this was a bug!
Nice Speed Run !
Edit: The RomHack would be better if the music continues after getting an item.
Each time an item is collected, the music restarts.
Another TAS already?! That was quick
Yeah, some hacks are easy to route/TASing :)
This TAS guy is awesome

@@garan1988 Got it, makes sense 👍
GG well done. Sad to see x-ray, aka the best item in the game, removed from so many SM hacks :'(
because X-ray will break any hacks :))

@@EGmusic-rn222 Yeah but i can't tas it and superjump. I only tas sm hacks with x-ray.
Nice tas👍

No it can’t be skipped ^^ I edited to make the video less paused-time :)
I havent seen this. Music fits well too!
The item fanfare restarting the music sucks lmao
Very good man good job
I Love your videos
Well Done
Not the last :)
Meh, this hack looks boring and the long screen transitions certainly don't help.
To be beautiful it is beautiful but the game looks like other hacks, incomplete and in some points too easy
yes, the game has beautiful editting, but the difficulty is easy!
No. I don't like speed runs. I'd rather TAKE MY TIME and ENJOY the ENTIRE game instead!
that’s right! all the hack authors want players enjoy their hack! 😆
