I love that Atticus still believes in Santa 🎅🏻, my eldest is 9 & still believes but I think next year will be the final year before she cottons on 😢. Keep the magic alive for as long as possible Julie❤ I was only 8 when I stopped believing.

Secondly, you never know the reasons behind someone’s behaviour: Atticus could require a restricted diet due to allergies or intolerances; he could have sensory problems or a condition such as ARFID (Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder); he could struggle to use cutlery due to physical difficulties (like Cerebral Palsy); he may need any number of different accommodations owing to disabilities like Autism Spectrum Disorder or even Anxiety… Or, he could be both neurotypical and able-bodied. Either way, you don’t know and shouldn’t assume, and you ABSOLUTELY shouldn’t comment! Every child - disabled or not - develops differently, at various speeds and in a plethora of ways, and every person is on their own journey. It’s not that difficult to just be kind - if you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all. Atticus’ behaviour does not impact you or your life whatsoever, so just leave off!
