Christ called Himself the Son of Man, lived as a Jew in the Jewish Culture, hence only the Father knows when He will tell the Son to go get His bride. This historical context & the intended Jewish audience is what gives us understanding, as makes no mistake about it, Jesus Christ is fully God who upholds all things by the word His power, In Him all things consist

The phrase "no man knows the day or hour" is a Jewish idiom referring to the Feast of Trumpets.
God's 7 yearly Holidays (Feasts) prophesied the VERY DAY the Messiah (Jesus Christ) would fulfill his biggest tasks ...
      THE 7 FEASTS (LEVITICUS 23)
1 - Passover - VERY DAY Christ died
2 - Unleavened Bread - VERY DAYS Christ buried
3 - First Fruits - VERY DAY Christ resurrected
4 - Weeks - VERY DAY Christ sent Holy Ghost
5 - Trumpets - VERY DAY Christ will return
6 - Atonement - VERY DAY Christ will forgive
7 - Tabernacles - VERY DAY Christ will live with us
Number 5 - Feast of Trumpets - was known to the Jews as the feast "no man knows the day or hour" because it was the only Holiday of the 7 to occur on the first day of the month.
And since the Jew's months were lunar based, the Feast of Trumpets could not be determined until two witnesses confirmed sighting of the new moon sliver, which could happen at any hour of any day during the 3 days of darkness during the new moon.
Thus, the Feast of Trumpets became known by the Jewish idiom ... the Feast "no man knows the day or hour"

@ No One Knows The Day or The Hour (10 Questions)
Do you believe that the bible is the inspired word of God and can be trusted? (“Yes” Continue, “No” Stop.)
Do you believe the Bible says, “No one knows the day or the hour of Christ's return” means “No one can ever know the time of Jesus' return so stop wasting your time? (Matt. 24:36) (“Yes” Continue, “No” Stop.)
Can you count? (“Yes” Continue, “No” Stop.)
Do you know the Bible says, “Since you do not know the day or the hour of Christ's return that you are commanded to “KEEP WATCH” for Jesus' return? (Matt. 24:42) (“Yes” Continue, “No” Stop.)
Do you know that Jesus said, “When you witness the “Abomination of Desolation” spoken of through the prophet Daniel that you are suppose to stop everything and run for the hills? (Matt. 24:15-21) (“Yes” Continue, “No” Stop.)
Do you trust that when the Bible says, “1,290 days” it does not mean 1,289 days, or 1,291 days, or some other number? (“Yes” Continue, “No” Stop.)
Do you know that the prophet Daniel said, “When you see the “Abomination of Desolation” there will only be 1,290 days left until the end? (Dan. 12:11) (“Yes” Continue, “No” Stop.)
Do you know that 1,290 days is just over 3½ years long? (“Yes” Continue, “No” Stop.)
Do you understand that if you are doing what Christ commanded to “Keep Watch” and you witness the “Abomination of Desolation” sign, that you can count 1,290 days into the future and determine the time of the end (Christ's return) within a day or maybe two? (“Yes” Continue, “No” Stop.)
If you are doing what you are commanded to do as a Christian, “Keeping Watch,” how can any Christian believe it is impossible to ever know the time of Christ's return when every Christian will know the return time 3½ years ahead of time; almost to the very day?

    Something to ponder and consider...
I found this bit of research very interesting on Matthew 24:36 and Mark 13:32 concerning "knoweth no man"... Pray and understand...
"Says Campbell, “Macknight argues that the term "know" is here used as a causative, in the Hebrew sense of the conjugation hiphil, that is to make known.... His [Christ’s] answer is just equivalent to saying, The Father will make it known when it pleases him; but he has not authorized man, angel, nor the Son, to make it known. Just in this sense Paul uses the term "know": 1 Corinthians 2:2: ‘I came to you making known the testimony of God; for I determined to make known nothing among you but a crucified Christ." SEADV 19.2
Albert Barnes, in his Notes on the Gospels, says, “Others have said that the verb rendered knoweth means sometimes to make known, or to reveal, and that the passage means, ‘that day and hour none maketh known, neither the angels, nor the Son, but the Father.’ It is true the word has sometimes that meaning, as 1 Corinthians 2:2. SEADV 20.1"

If Jesus is God, why did He not know when He would return?
Speaking of His second coming, Jesus said, “No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father” (Matthew 24:36; cf. Mark 13:32). The Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is God (John 1:1, 14), and we know that God is omniscient. So it seems strange that Jesus would say that He did not know when He would return. The key to understanding Jesus’ seeming lack of knowledge in this matter lies in the nature of the Incarnation. When the Son of God became a man, He remained fully God, but He also took on a true human nature. Jesus retained all the attributes of divinity, yet, as a man, He voluntarily restricted their use. This was part of the “self-emptying” or self-renunciation spoken of in Philippians 2:6-8. When Christ entered our world, He laid aside the privileges that had been His in heaven. Rather than stay on His throne in heaven, Jesus “made himself nothing” (as the NIV translates Philippians 2:7). When He came to earth, “he gave up his divine privileges” (NLT). He veiled His glory, and He chose to occupy the position of a servant.
There were times when Jesus publicly manifested His divine knowledge and power on earth (John 2:25; 11:43 -44). On those occasions, Jesus’ demonstrations of His divinity were directed by the Father. On other occasions, He had no such directive from the Father, and He kept His glory veiled. On all occasions, Jesus obeyed the Father’s will: “I always do what pleases him,” He said (John 8:29).
So, when Jesus said He did not know when He would return, He was actively humbling Himself and taking the form of a servant (see Philippians 2:7-8). Since no other mortal knows the time of Jesus’ return-that information is the Father’s alone (Matthew 24:36)-Jesus voluntarily restricted His knowledge on that point. It was part of Jesus’ submission to the Father (see John 5:30; 6:38; 8:28-29) and His mission to live a human life.
Some things Jesus apparently chose to “give up the rights” to be privy to during His earthly ministry. The knowledge of when He would return was one of those things. Jesus, now exalted in heaven, surely knows all, including the timing of His second coming.

Thanks that was better than the video. I 100% agree and follow the above explanation, but for this one instance I believe it is simpler to understand that Jesus uses the Greek word oiden. It's the same verb Paul uses in 1 Corinthians 2:2. When you exegete this verb is doesn't mean "to know" it mean "to make known". Paul is not saying in Corinthians he literally knows nothing other than Christ's crucifixion. You'd have to believe Paul didn't know his name, the color of the sky, his birthplace. Rather Paul was saying "I came to MAKE KNOWN nothing but Christ's crucifixion". I believe Jesus knew the house, but he was saying it is only the Father's prerogative to reveal the hour.

They always ask the same questions even though they all have answers 😭😭😭 Jesus is god and all knowing yes, but when he came down to earth he was to holy and perfect to visit earth which is a sinful place, so he humbled himself or in simpler terms set certain voluntary limitations on himself so that he could be a human, like being able to die, hurt, and even not being able to predict or think certain things. And one of those things was not knowing the hour in which he returns. I guarantee when he got back into heaven and those limitations weren’t there anymore he knew.

Lack of knowledge does not mean ignorance of the matter, for Christ will say to those calling him, O Lord, O Lord, I did not know you, picked it, so that does not mean ignorance of their identity
The book says that every authority has been given to him and has all wisdom and knowledge, and Peter said that he knows everything, but the meaning does not have the knowledge of announcing the Hour in his incarnation, especially as he will come as a thief
This is exactly like the teacher in the class that the student asks him to cheat the answer to a question in the exam, so the teacher says that he does not know not because he is ignorant of the answer, but because he is not authorized to give the answer now.

Dear Al, I love ya and I can listen to you because I've been to seminary and I have degrees and I know how scholars talk. But just spit it out for your average viewers. Jesus didn't know the day and hour of his return because between his birth and his ascension he simply wasn't omniscient. He laid it aside in order to become one of us.
--- As a baby, he didn't look up from the manger and say, or even think, "You guys don't realize that I'm the Son of God."
--- When a woman in a crowd touched him and was healed, he said, "Who touched me?" because he really didn't know.
--- When said, "...not even the Son," knew when the Second Coming would take place he meant it. That would be true only a few seconds or minutes longer, because when he disappeared from earth into heaven, he knew.
He had prayed (out loud for his disciples' sake, in John 17) to have his glory restored, the glory he had before he came into humanity. At the ascension, that prayer was answered. Everything he put "on pause" to come to earth was "un-paused."
By the way, guess what else Jesus laid aside to become human? Check out Mark 6:5 and wrangle with that a few minutes.

Unfortunately you also take the verse out of context. Matthew 24:35 is connected back to verse 34 and relates to the day heaven and earth pass away and not to the return of Christ. You also have some bad doctrine discussions. I would be pleased to discuss it further. Verses related to the return of Christ (e.g. 24:42) are a separate event. Jesus knows when he is returning. He does not know when heaven and earth pass away.
Also, for reference, please read 2 Samuel 7 in which it is clear Jesus commits "iniquity" but not sin. Saul sinned in his iniquity and the spirit was taken away from Saul. Christ did not sin when he said "let not my will be done but your will". The truth is much deeper than what the doctrines of the church teach today and is a truly fascinating topic. Would love to talk with you about it.

Then he will return from the clouds, so how could christ simultaneously be the son of God while returning as the son of man while returning through the clouds, while also suffering in his life? Because he’s God and God is omnipotent, and also you know immaculate conception.

Jesus could not be in two places at the same time while being incarnate. But he was still God wrapped in human flesh. JEsus had to lay aside his glory to step down from his throne and condescend and become one of us. I don't know that this help explains or answers the question about not knowing but it does show that he purposely put aside some aspects of his divinity in order to take on the mission of mankind's redemption.

People forget that Jesus was a Jew and that context of "No one knows the day of hour" is from the Feast of Trumpets. There are 7 Feasts of God that Jesus has to fulfill and 4 of them have been fulfilled in his first coming: Passover(Death), Unleaven Bread(Burial), Firstfruits(Resurrection), and Pentecost(Holy Spirit). These are Spring Feasts.
The Fall Feasts will be fulfilled in his 2nd Coming: Feast of Trumpets(Rapture), Atonement(2nd Coming) and Tabernacles(Christ's 1,000 year reign on Earth)
In order to understand Jesus and the context he says them, you need to understand the Old Testament, because Jesus came to fulfill the Law and the Torah.

  • @dalecassleman
    @dalecassleman 2 года назад

What do you think is the answer?
More importantly, Who do you think Jesus is?
Why do you think that and what is the basis for thinking so?
Does your idea of God have anything to do with your answers and if so, how can you know anything about the invisible God? Other than what is revealed to us through Creation, which of course is the workmanship of His hands. His right hand to be exact, as it is explained in (John 1).
He is Spirit and therefor cannot be conceived in the mind of carnal man because he is spiritually dead in Adam. A consiquence of the disobedience that took place in the garden.
Any knowledge man can physically attain of God was actually manifest in Jesus while He walked among us. It's also revealed to us in His inspired word by the power of the Holy Spirit, after He regenerates us, the dead spirit inside the flesh, to life.
Believe me, I know. It all sounds so incredibly fantastic. But, unless a man is born again, then Jesus is not God to them, in their own eyes and is more offensive to them than anything else.
So, you take a leap of faith and seek after Christ and He will reveal all truth and righteousness to you. But the faith required to make that leap is not of yourself. It is by God's free gift of grace and not of yourselves, lest anyone should boast or bragg about it.
He is the way, the truth and the life and nobody can come to the Father except through Him. He withholds no good thing from those whom love Him.
Problem is, you cannot come to Jesus, unless the Father draws you.
So you my friend are in a bit of a conundrum, as you have what is commonly referred to as catch-22.
So, you have a new question that needs answering and that is, how do I get the Father to draw me to Christ?
Well, it takes regeneration of the Spirit, to change your volition from desiring the things pertaining to flesh, to the things of the Spirit.
    Regeneration 101:
So, we have all seen a dead car battery jumpstarted by a live battery when trying to get a car started. Well, it is badically the same thing with regeneration, only the Holy Spirit remains in you forever, as the Paraclete, giving you eternal life. He is the means the Father uses to draw you to the Son. He is, also the same One Who will raise your mortal body up on the last day in glory, making it immortal or imperishable.
You, once born again(regeneration) are a living spirit, no longer dead in spirit(carnal) or better said "no longer dead in Adam, but now, alive in Christ Jesus. It is only the flesh that needs raising from the dead, as we are already seated in the heavenly realms with Christ, from the instant we are saved. Infact to be absent from the body is to be with the Lord. Gor believers. (Luke 16:19-31) refers to those that have rejected Christ.
This can go on for volumes, and I recommend Wayne Grudem's Podcast or book on Systematic Theology as it explains all of this and more, far better than I can.
So, I will end it here by saying that if you are not God's elect, it won't matter if you get your original question answered and if you are, then there are bigger questions that you will need to ask first and like connecting the dots, it will all come together as you seek out everything you can possibly learn about Jesus and your thirst for knowledge of the truth, will not be quenched on this side of your last heartbeat.
If you are elect, you will get your answers, but not by man. By Spirit and the word.
I wish you God's very best for your life, elect or not. Either way, God will use you to bring glory to Himself.
In answer to your original question. Jesus limited His power while inside the box of time and that makes sense considering that space, time and matter are finite and Jesus' full power and glory, being Infinite is like trying to fit a Triangle in a circle. It would be Infinitely impossible and something would have to give and I believe this will be evident in His second coming when He does come in all power and authority full of glory. Scripture says that all of the elements will melt with fervent heat.

Everything is written plainly in the holy scriptures. Anyone is right to say Jesus was a man and a prophet. Jesus was indeed those and much more. Even Jesus said he is more than a prophet which is why he is the one to judge all mankind. Jesus is also the Word of God which created all things, seen and unseen, known and unknown. We were created in the image of God and His likeness, therefore we think before we speak i.e. speech is enabled by our brains. Our speech is our word, and unless we speak, our word does not do anything because it is not revealed. That's why Jesus said I can do nothing of myself, whatever the Father (God) does is what I do; as the Father works so do I. This is why you cannot say God is different from His Word, and why we say the Word of God is God. That explains why Jesus said, he cannot reveal the day of the last hour, why because it takes God to pronounce (speak) it as His Word (through Jesus) for it to occur. This is the full explanation as supported by all scriptures.

I have a question. Can God know the sins for which He has forgiven us in Christ Jesus His Son? If he knows nor remembers it by what power is this achieved in an All-Knowing Godhead? God that is unknowable by anyone but His Son, has the power to withhold from the Son, whom He has made heir of all things. To me this is the greatest indication that the Godhead is a ''real'' and dynamic relationship, that is totally inexplicable, Of God within Himself. Is it not proper for a Son out of complete love and honour for his Father reserve all authority in the hands of the Father and choose to have/know only those things the Father desires him to? Did not Jesus prove conclusively that it takes the Son to manifest the Father and likewise the Father the Son? How can there be Sonship if the Father is not greater than the Son in all things? And how can the Son be a true Son if he though equal in essence to the Father not allow the Father to be greater than Him in all things? This is why there is perfect love between the Father and the Son because he, the Son, has the capacity to submit to the father without denying the Godhead of the Father or the Son. Jesus says: ALL THAT THE FATHER HAS HE HAS GIVEN TO THE SON. THE SON RESTING PERFECTLY IN THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE FATHER....KNOWING THE FATHER GIVES TO HIM ALL THINGS. THIS NOT-KNOWING BY JESUS, IS COMPLETE AND UTTER PERFECTION FOR IT INTRODUCES NO DISHARMONY BETWEEN THE FATHER AND THE SON FOR THE FATHER WILL REVEAL 'IT' TO THE SON.
It is a glorious mystery!!! One so pure and true it compels our heart to harmony and loyal submission. Jesus told us the truth of it all.
This Knowledge Jesus knew not, not because he was Perfect Man but because he was Perfect God, as a true Son cannot trump the Knowledge that the Father choses to keep within Himself. This not Perfect not knowing made Jesus the Perfect Son, not less than omniscient but Submissive to the will of the Father to perfection.
Another question: Jesus said being the Son he could ask the Father to send legions of angels to foiled the plans of the Jews/Romans to have him killed although this plan was preordained by the Father. Could He not? Very yes! Would that have stopped the Will of the Father? Very no!.... it is enough to know simply that the Father loves the Son and would do anything the Son asks but it is better to know that the Son would not choose anything but the Perfect Will of the Father for he, the Son chose it in Eternity.

      @@ewankerr3011 Is Jesus God?
Some who deny that Jesus is God make the claim that Jesus never said that He is God. It is correct that the Bible never records Jesus saying the precise words, “I am God.” This does not mean, however, that Jesus never claimed to be God. Is Jesus God? - Jesus claimed to be God.
Take for example the words of Jesus in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” We need only to look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement to know He was claiming to be God. They tried to stone Him for this very reason: “You, a mere man, claim to be God” (John 10:33, emphasis added). The Jews understood exactly what Jesus was claiming-deity. When Jesus declared, “I and the Father are one,” He was saying that He and the Father are of one nature and essence. John 8:58 is another example. Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth … before Abraham was born, I am!” This is a reference back to Exodus 3:14 when God revealed Himself as the “I AM.” The Jews who heard this statement responded by taking up stones to kill Him for blasphemy, as the Mosaic Law commanded (Leviticus 24:16).
Is Jesus God? - His followers declared Him to be God.
John reiterates the concept of Jesus’ deity: “The Word [Jesus] was God” and “the Word became flesh” (John 1:1, 14). These verses clearly indicate that Jesus is God in the flesh. Acts 20:28 tells us, “Be shepherds of the church of God, which He bought with His own blood.” Who bought the church with His own blood? Jesus Christ. And this same verse declares that God purchased His church with His own blood. Therefore, Jesus is God.
Thomas the disciple declared concerning Jesus, “My Lord and my God” (John 20:28). Jesus does not correct him. Titus 2:13 encourages us to wait for the coming of our God and Savior, Jesus Christ (see also 2 Peter 1:1). In Hebrews 1:8, the Father declares of Jesus, “But about the Son He says, ‘Your throne, O God, will last forever and ever, and righteousness will be the scepter of your kingdom.’” The Father refers to Jesus as God, indicating that Jesus is indeed God.
In Revelation, an angel instructed the apostle John to only worship God (Revelation 19:10). Several times in Scripture Jesus receives worship (Matthew 2:11; 14:33; 28:9, 17; Luke 24:52; John 9:38). He never rebukes people for worshiping Him. If Jesus were not God, He would have told people to not worship Him, just as the angel in Revelation did. Beyond these, there are many other passages of Scripture that argue for Jesus being God.
Is Jesus God? - The reason Jesus must be God.
The most important reason that Jesus must be God is that, if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being, which Jesus would be if He were not God, could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death.
Is Jesus God? Yes. Jesus declared Himself to be God. His followers believed Him to be God. The provision of salvation only works if Jesus is God. Jesus is God incarnate, the eternal Alpha and Omega (Revelation 1:8; 22:13), and God our Savior (2 Peter 1:1).

    • @Ivan05.____
      @Ivan05.____ 2 года назад

@@ewankerr3011 If Jesus is God, why did He not know when He would return?

I truly believe our Lord Jesus Christ as an incarnated Son of God became fully Man and yes, He increased in wisdom as Son of Man. We need to understand our Lord was born as a little Baby Boy and that's His humanity displayed already at the blessed Manger in the Inn. The blessed incarnate infant Child started growing with human intelligence that's subjected to the will of His Father who is our God and that will was to please the Father God. Jesus as a Man only did what He heard and saw from His Father. The book of Philippians talk about the emptying of Christ's deity. The Bible says that He emptied Himself in Philippians chapter 2 from verses 5 to 8, it says, "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond-servant, and coming in the likeness of men.
And being found in appearance as a Man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross."

    CRITIQUING OF ALBERT MOHLER’S METHODOLOGY
    1. Presupposed opinion. I have a problem with the “methodology” followed by Albert Mohler (AM) when he answered the question, as follows:
    a. Assumptions. In answering the question, it seems that AM is of a presupposed opinion that the listener, believes in Jesus’s omniscience, Jesus’s incarnation, Jesus’s dual nature, (Fully God and fully man), and that Jesus is God.
    b. Unbiblical statements. In providing the answer, he thus uses unbiblical terms, like; Jesus’s omniscience, Jesus’s incarnation, Jesus’s dual nature, (Fully God and fully man), and that Jesus is God, as if they are foregone facts, to prove another unbiblical matter. None of the above are implicitly stated in the Bible. They are all implied interpretations.
    2. Summary. AM is thus making use of four unbiblical statements as if they are true, to prove that a fifth unbiblical matter is also true.

For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace., Isaiah 9:6
Who, though He was in the form of God, did not count equality a thing to be grasped, Rather He made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant and being found in human likeness, Philippians 2:6-7

They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.”, Revelation 17:14
Yet for us there is one God, the Father, from whom are all things and for whom we exist, and one LORD, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things and **through whom we exist**, 1 Corinthians 8:6

Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, Hebrews 1:1-3
No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known, John 1:18
Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also., 2 John 1:7

This stuff comes from hundreds of years after the NT. They go on about his role as High priest etc . I hoped they would answer the question in a clear scriptural manner. So here is a not so radical idea . Jesus did not know the day and hour because as he said nobody knows that except God. The except God part clearly reveals that Jesus did not claim to be God Almighty ( you know the one at whose right hand he always sits) . Indeed, the claim of the Evangelists was that Jesus is he Christ, the Son of God. This is NOT the same as God the Son.

Ewan Kerr I agree with you! Been reading and praying in seek of the truth about this for some time. (Still do) Because God the Son and God the Holy Spirit as MANY believe and are taught trough the trinity doctrine became very confusing for me as I started to really read the scriptures. I believed in it myself as I grew up and was taught, but have in the last years slowly got away from it, as the bible is very clear that Jesus is Christ, Gods only begotten Son, that came forth from God and was Sent by God The Almighty! .. Its like everything just falls in the right place now as I study in the Bible, instead of as the 3 in 1 image the trinity tries to explain into a mystery.

@@emanuelhernehult298 : The claim of the Evangelists was simply that Jesus was the Messiah ( Christ ) the Son of God. Jews believed in the Shema. God was one(person) never three in one. This idea is nowhere discussed in scripture. Jesus and his disciples were Jews. They worshipped the God of Israel. Jesus claimed again and again that he had a God. Even in the book of Revelation, four times in one verse, the resurrected glorified Jesus talks about "my God"( Rev 3 :12)
But you can ignore the Bible altogether and just look at history. It is obvious to any open minded person who studies early Christianity that from the second century onwards, as the Church moved away from its Jewish roots, leading theologians began to adopt logos theology and slowly we had two Gods: the unbegotten and the begotten. The earliest fathers distinguished between them and viewed the Son /Logos as always subordinate. Later, we see the evolution of ideas and disputes until we get the Trinity by the end of the fourth century. This has been projected back into scripture ever since, but was unknown to Jesus and his disciples and the earliest Church fathers.

THIS is the TIME PERIOD when Jesus will return during the calendar year AD 2028 !!!

Didn't like- Jesus never said he did not know when he returns. The mantra "not knowing the day or hour" applies to the day that heaven and earth
pass away and not to his return. False mantra- false concepts.

The word son can be plural in the Greek and man cannot know unless God teaches but Jesus knows. Thumbs down, sorry. You teach what is generally taught but unfortunately is nonsense. The reference to the day or hour refers to Matthew 24:35 when heaven and earth pass away. The earth does NOT pass away when Christ returns as he rules and reigns here with mankind. And of Christ's return, as it says, we will not know the hour of his return (it does not say day or hour as your mantra implies). Leviticus 25 in fact tells us the day of the Jubilee is on Tishri 10 so elsewhere in the scriptures the day is provided consistent with the Jewish fall feasts after the 10 days of awe. Christ returns at the blowing of the last trumpet on Rosh Hashanah to announce the coming of the King of kings (1 Cor. 15:50-52). The church of Sardis (Rev. 3:3) tells us that if we are not watching, he will come as a thief and we won't know. Amos 3:7 and John 15:15 both advise us that His "friends" will know about Christ's plan beforehand.
1 Thes. 5:4 comforts us that we are not in darkness such that day would come upon us as a thief.
I will stop at this level- much more for us to look at. Attaching Matthew 24:36 to verse 37 is wrong and twists the actual word of God.

the Rapture will occur on the Feast of Trumpets or Rosh HaShana are the same.
The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 4:16
Because the Lord himself will descend from heaven, with a commanding voice, with the voice of the archangel and with God's "TRUMPET" ...
Now we know that JESUS CHRIST Comes on the FEAST OF TRUMPETS or Rosh HaShana.
    BUT what year?
Our GOD the FATHER has already "revealed" and uncovered that date.
    Matthew 24:
32 From the fig tree learn the parable: When its branch is tender, and the leaves sprout, you know that summer is near.
33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, at the doors.
34 Truly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all this happens.
What did JESUS CHRIST mean by this parable?
    Who represents the fig tree?
What generation is JESUS CHRIST speaking to?
The fig tree represents the Nation of ISRAEL that began to be a Nation in 1948 at that time its branch was tender and its leaves were sprouting.
the generation that JESUS speaks of is us, we are the last generation.
But how long does a generation last?
This is explained by King David inspired by GOD in Psalm 90:
    The days of our age are seventy years;
And if the most robust are eighty years,
Yet his strength is hassle and work,
Because soon they pass, and we "fly".
Now, ISRAEL was formed and established as a Nation in 1948.
We know that ISRAEL is currently a Robust Nation with one of the best Armies in the world, its economy is powerful, it has the latest in Technology and the best scientists, etc., so we know that they are a Robust Nation,
Now if we add 80 years that represents the age of the robust to 1948, we get the year 2028,
now we subtract 7 years why? because they are the 7 years that the Great Tribulation lasts and we know that the Bride of the Lord JESUS CHRIST washed with the Blood of the Lamb of GOD will celebrate the Wedding of the Lamb of GOD in the heaven, That is the reason of the Rapture of the Church to Celebrate the Wedding of the Lamb of GOD "JESUS CHRIST" in the heaven... GLORY to GOD and that is why the Bride of the LORD Will Not pass the Great Tribulation , which will last 7 years, for that reason we subtract 7 Years to the year 2028 and gives us the result of the Year 2021, this would be the Year and on the Feast of TRUMPETS that the LORD of lords and KING of kings JESUS CHRIST returns to earth for his church.
As an additional piece of information I leave you the dates of the Feast of Trumpets for the year 2021 will be: September 6, 7 and 8. (We fly in this Date)
Amen. Even so, come, Lord YESHUA ! (Revelation 22: 20)
the Feasts of TRUMPETS appear in Leviticus 23.
    Amos 3:
7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealed his secret unto his servants the prophets.
People of GOD open your heart and understand that in the same way that God revealed to the Prophet Daniel 9, that 70 weeks were determined for his people Israel.
In the same way that God revealed to Elisha through the sons of the Prophets that Prophet Elijah would be taken to Heaven
    (2 Kings 2),
In the same way that GOD revealed one (1) day before to Abraham that he would destroy Sodom and Gomorrah
    (Genesis 18)
In the same way that GOD previously revealed to the wise men of the East through a star the birth of King JESUS (Matthew 2)
In the same way, GOD THE FATHER is revealing and awakening his People that their Messiah JESUS CHRIST is coming in this last generation.
    Shalom everyone.
