Most fans don't want to watch match after match after match on a television show. That's what ppv's are for. The fans that agree with you watch AEW, and perhaps that's where you should go, too.

People need to let Seth rest and enjoy his family, he has done enough, he was the work horse now he is taking time away to heal his injury and be with family.
These guys never see family and are on the road...let them have their time.

3 hours might be a bit much live, when a lot of it is wrestlers waiting in the ring for commercials to end. I do like that they are using the time to get people familiar with newer talent, the superstars of the future.

Cody & Yeet to me feels like Hogan & macho back in the good ol days
First thing's first: The title of this video is disingenuous and incorrect. Neither Damian Priest nor Drew McIntyre were mentioned at all. I clicked on the video specifically to hear what Dave and Bubba Ray thought about the segment at the beginning of RAW. Reason being, I thought it was great, having Drew perform well like we've come to expect to him recently alongside this interaction doing a lot for Damian Priest as a solo Superstar.
As for what was discussed on the video itself, this is the only time I can recall completely disagreeing with what Dave or Bubba Ray have said for an entire video. So, here's my own take:
As a fan at a live event, the caller may have been a little drained due to the length. However, if you're paying modern ticket prices in this shitty inflationary economy, you better be looking to get your money's worth in both quality and quantity. As a viewer on T.V., last night's RAW was really, really good quality-wise and well-produced just about the entire way through. For the most part, everyone last night did what they were supposed to do at a high level.
As for the brand split and who's featured on each show, things are very good right now. Ideally, last night served as a prime example of good booking and management, allotting adequate time for a lot of the roster to have time on-screen. The argument both Dave and Bubba Ray are trying to make for having the WWE Champion Cody Rhodes on both shows is ludicrous from the perspective of developing stories, ongoing and new. As a fan of wrestling, WWE and Cody Rhodes, what I don't want for myself and the fanbase is to be oversaturated by one or two stories and them become stale extremely quick. Do we want Cody to be like Super Cena was in the early 2010's when there wasn't a true brand split? Overexposure and making him seem unbeatable will make the fans turn on him really quick and become displeased with the overall product.
I could type out even more of an essay in this comment, but I'll leave it at that.
For the price of the tickets I would rather have a 3-4 hour show

Jay has awesome entrance, big pop but he doesn't have ring skill to be World Champion
What his move set is - superkick, splash, samoan drop and bad spear
There's plenty of wrestlers who got over with the fans who didn't have the prettiest moveset let's look at Jeff Hardy for example if you really boil it down all he did was jump off of things or do his usual stuff it's like Becky Lynch said not too long ago it's not really about the wrestling and the action going on in the ring it's about the story that is supporting the action everything we see going on in that ring is supposed to be an extension of a bigger story if the story isn't working then everything going on in that ring is meaningless but even then in the grand scheme of things what's going on in that ring technically in this business comes second and the story comes first think about when Jay did the super kick to Roman Reigns when he and his brother officially left the bloodline the reason why that moment was so iconic was because of the story if you can get something good in terms of momentum story-wise then what someone does and their moveset becomes obsolete because the story has made us as fans believe that they are worth the hype
They put the weight on Jey shoulders with a lot of main stars missing. Jey and Drag put on a show. One of the best intros in wrestling right now.

In 2002 03 was where the world champion had to appear in both shows when WWE established the brand split as the WWE and World titles were unified as the Undisputed champion were Vince McMahon and Ric Flair were CoOwners as Flair took over Raw and Vince Smackdown
Just give things time to play out. I like the pacing that they are doing let more stories build. Thing are coming together. So far mostly everything is good

I think they introduced that people's champioship for Cody to win it. That whole run up to WM40 showed he is the people's choice. Also, he's the only Wrestler with merch in Fanatics top 10 selling items.
RAW on Netflix will most definitely be programmed as a 2-hour show with the ability to go short or run a little longer if necessary. Creatively, they will be able to quicken the pace of the show because they will never need to stretch anything. There won't be long commercial breaks either, so the show would (theoretically) be constantly going from interview to video package to match to interview, etc. Much like the PLE presentation. The matches will be quicker paced and the live audience won't have as much down time as they do for a live network TV presentation. Everything is about to get a little better and a little edgier once the Netflix structure begins.
All sorts of possibilities can be booked inside of a match because there is no hard "go home." The wrestling will improve because it will be back to entertaining the live crowd first and the viewership second. Basically, talent will be able to really work a match, and agents won't be held to "Well we're gonna have to cut this down to about 6 minutes guys" or "Hey, can you add another 5 minutes?" They can work the crowd instead of the clock.
19:16 they do have that responsibility, but at the same time you’ll burn through storylines way faster then we as an audience will complain & get bored 😂 we can’t have it both ways unfortunately!

I think we should give them a chance, I mean if you look at it we are now really getting wrestling and that hasn’t happened in a long time. I personally love seeing wrestling more than just entertainment.
Seth and Cody both carried RAW but one is injured and the other one got drafted to Smackdown also this Jey push I get but his move set is just plain
Very plain. Superkicks splashes and spears for 5 - 20 mins gets old fast. Especially when 5 other people also do spears.
People really don’t get how Seth sets the bar on raw…he’s the only person Cody could have fought 3 times in a row and people wouldn’t have been across the board angry

Too many matches. TV is to set up feuds. PPV's are to settle feuds. Thats always been the formula.
Another name that kind of got forgotten on the men's side is Seth Rollins and his beef with both Drew and CM Punk. The way the match between Cody and Roman went with Seth also leaves the door open for him to get involved in the bloodline story.
I would do Survivor Series: War Games match of Reigns, Jey, Jimmy and Jacob Fatu vs. Rock, Solo, Tama and Tonga. That's gonna be 💯🔥
I would love if the Otis turn happens and the trigger point is him in the ring with Gable and he stops and quickly starts smelling the air. Camera pans up the crowd to show the return of Tucker who is bbq-ing ham up the bleachers, Otis clocks Gable and reunites with Tucker and Ham 😁😆

I don’t think any of this stuff is a problem. The draft and having separate champions is great because when Vince allowed everyone to be together, it didn’t make things seem as important. WWE as a whole is in a reset mode coming off of mania and everyone just needs to relax and let things play out.
Raw won't be going back to 2 hours unless they make another show on Wednesdays. They could call it Wednesday Night Warzone
Raw has Rhea, punk, and Seth all out injured. You guys have praised Gunther, lija, Becky, judgment day, Sami, drew and heck even truth gets one of the biggest pops. That fan maybe saw certain wrestlers advertise. Also a 6 year old at anything over 1 1/2 like a Disney movie is going to struggle. They are going to get bored especially if they are going to see someone for 10 minutes. They are going need bathroom breaks. Food. Drinks. Sugar. Then get sleepy. On a school night that they are out late for school the next day. So going by a 6 year old feelings is different then him by himself

I'm sorry I got to disagree I was at a Monday Night Raw in St Louis earlier this year it flew by along with main event I just think people are impatient nowadays they want everything instant and I'm an older person too and I've seen sloggers this wasn't a slogger whatsoever people's perceptions if they don't like something they're immediately bored so they can't get invested into anything cuz it's not the ones they want to see
If they get rid of Main Event before Raw will it save the crowds energy for The Raw Shows
So the original draft, they only had 1 top champion and he had to show up in both showd until the World Heavyweight Championship was introduced in Sept and then the roster froze in Oct where no one is allowed to show up on the other show. I guess they're following this as there are Undisputed WWE Champion and World Heavyweight Champion.

Seth Rollins can return as a heel at Summerslam interfering, causing Cody to lose to Rock.
Then you can have Rock vs Roman at WM41.
And Cody vs Seth at WM41.
I have a feeling the baby face Bloodline will be on Raw and the heel Bloodline will be on smackdown by the fall (Sami and Jey are on Raw already). Then it will be a Raw vs smackdown, Bloodline vs Bloodline war games at survivor series. Still don't think Rock will be involved with that.

My prediction is this happens at Clash, with Punk costing DM Hunk the title and it leads to their 1on1 at SummerSlam when both men are cleared.

He is swimming somewhere in between and he needs some clear wins in proper feuds to elevate himself to main event. He will probably drop the title to Drew and go onto having feud again Balor or something. That's good, he needs a couple of these feuds he needs to win and he can come back to title picture again

@@Shadow-df7kphe is the guy who keeps the wheel turning. He is a huge asset. Can have greay feuds and matches with anyone, elevates anyone he works with and consistent all the time. Guy always gets overshadowed by some bigger story and that's fine that he probably won't ever be "the face" of the company but he will be their "top 5" as long as he wrestles
I really hope they try hard to get the women a main event next year at Wrestlemania.
They gonna have to cook up some big feud from around summerslam to justify that. If rock vs roman happens, that's ur night 2 main event. Then it's pretty much guaranteed cody getting night 1 main event. So it will he a hige task for tha ladies and i don't see any HUGE women's match on the horizon

I have a good solution for getting the belt off Cody. Cody vs. Randy Orton at Sunmerslam. Have Orton play the "hired gun" for The Rock. Have him win with assistance. Lose clean to The Rock. Put the belt "on the line" for War Games SS and then have Randy help Cody beat Rock at Mania. Revealing that Rock held his contrsct hostage, or had dirty. Everyone comes off looking spotless, and it is believable.

I think Jey isn't too charismatic when it comes to in ring work. That's where his "tag team guy" weakness show. I am not saying he should have 15+ moves before anyone comes after me. It's just his style. Very tag team like and it doesn't feel natural when he is in a singles match. It creates repetitiveness
Sami def doesn't work on Romans side rn. Roman coming right off his inability to forgive betratal era & sami betrayed him. Unless you have jey & jimmy convince him sami is needed? But even then, how do you reconcile jimmy & jey at this point, then how do you reconcile jey & roman? Idk. But codys also a huge factor in his own right. The first deep storyline for cody sends this reign into the stratosphere for him.
What about Jacob Fatu
Jey is no world champ... yet. How can he not have to go through the US and Intercontinental level?!
They didn't even try to make LA knight THE GUY when he was being cheered as a megastar for quite few months, and now you see him fading out of the top hottest place. Why would you think they are willing to put Jey, a half of one of the best tag teams, as a champion? They will only use him as a cheered guy to have the heat WWE universe is giving, and to build for the bigger name they prefer, like old Phil which obviously can't handle the high level wrestling nowadays. And when the time has come, when Jimmy, Roman is ready, they'll put him back to Uso, samoan, bloodline storyline. He's never gonna be the guy like LA even if they're being cheered by so many fans and making the company lot of bucks.
I’d perfer The Rock , Solo , Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa vs Roman Reigns , Jey Uso , Jimmy Uso and Jacob Fatu would be a better option in my opinion.

What are you putting rock with Roman turning rock baby face then you can get the AJ styles versus rock match or AJ styles says the rock must be Babyface for that match to happen. I don’t know how you would get to rock vs AJ. But it puts rock up for now two matches doing it that way.
What about Jacob?
I think the 3-hour Raws are one of the biggest problems with the WWE product right now. It’s just too much. Having a “world” title on both shows is still silly. Splitting the tag titles again has watered them down considerably.
Ngl I still don't know why people wanted tag team title to be split again. There were like 8-10 tag teams over both shows and one set of tag titles gave mkre flexibility of switching people in and out of title picture. Now u end up with 1 champion woth like 3-5 challengers and u quickly run out of feuds
What about Jakob Fatu instead of Sami.
Last night kinda confirmed it for me, these guys cant get any better than what we've seen from them. Theyv plateau long time ago, what Iv always liked about WWE is that they give us new moments, an evolution in their characters. Drew just rambles on and on about vengeance and blah blah blah, we get it, your the heel, ooff. As for Damian, he is hoping the title makes him, but he certainly is not making that title. I feel no deference, from Damian before or after the title. He still feels the same to me, which is a terrible sign.
