Bucks peaked as Bullet Club heels in NJPW
Not since then have they been cool.
They have had some good matches in aew, but their personas have been lackluster at best.
The Bucks act annoying and "mean", but they have no real menace or intensity to their heel characters, and neither does Jack Perry. That may be okay for a midcard feud, but this is the company's top storyline. They can do spots where they attack or fire people, but there's no drama to it because they aren't serious enough heels.
You know what's a winner? Leaving your champ laying 3 weeks in a row. Real strong look for the company.
The Bucks are terrible. I don’t buy anything they ever do, and they are insincere in the worst kind of way.
Bubba and Tommy had their bad days in booking and creative but can't blame them for everyone's fault back in the days. But they got AEW's shit figured out better than TK or any of his dummies just following the basics and utilizing actual and legit EXPERIENCE. Business is simple if you had any idea what the fuck you're trynna do.
Give Bully the book asap !

The way Tony Khan has been doing things in the past 5 years I think Tommy's estimate of a 2 hour PPV isn't realistic at all. No way Tony will be pleased with 7 minutes per match. I say 3 hours minimum for this PPV
I love Bully's ideas. The dude has a great mind in wrestling.
The 2 things that AEW needs to turn things around:
- A competent experienced Booker with vision/direction
- Getting rid of the Bucks and all their terrible influence

Nope. I mainly see people making fun of TK and the Elite story going on. Swerve has become a after thought just as much as Stings last match became a after thought once Darby went through that plate of glass.

Finally AEW has a massive storyline that works! This needs to last several months with small battles and conclude with a war. I agree with these guys! Great show!
Bubba just owned that TK Booking...I gotta agree with him on how to make it the best payoff...same with Willow, something she did finally clicked with me...Also CEO vs DMD on paper gets paper, it may take her skills to bring the best outta Mone.

Like any good story it needs a beginning a middle and an ending . The best way is to write the ending first and then figure out how you’re gonna get there. It seems like They’re making this up from week to week .

What's the point of The Elite v Team AEW? Good match maybe, but what will it achieve?
Can we get a 6 month story ending with Jack Parry turning on young bucks and showing him and TK worked together to get rid of punk and screw over bucks
The elite is awful an absolutely ridiculous story with feckless heels. There is no saving AEW,. THE WRONG PEOPLE GET PUSHED IN AEW. WHY IS SWERVE BEING BURIED
The Elite story is great, is it a NWO knockoff yes but so was Main event Mafia, Aces and Eights, and the Nexus. Also Swerve isn't buried he's not only A gonna the win at DoN but B because he's messed with the elites business, they hired Christian Cage to take him down. Christian also told Swerve everything from him before DoN. He had the belt for a few weeks and he's considered buried, but someone lost at Mania last year got beat up by someone who is redacted, and Loli gaged around with a faction for a year and no one considered him buried. Maybe you have a double standard in wrestling which wouldn't surprise me at the least
Why are you bringing up wwe ? Those factions you said all had way more talent than the bucks. You must be oblivious to metrics that show business is down.

90s early 2000's ,when it was a fresh idea. The tna and nexus were not good either but was salvaged y having intimidating figures not midcard guys who are as small as me. why are the bucks using an old storyline for themselves. Its just deosnt make sense
@@richardcelaya7361 The NWO Storyline Derailed two of WCW'S babyfaces, and dragged on the only one that worked back then was Stone Cold and Mr redacted. So far the Elite story has been fun and I'm not a fan of the young Bucks at all. Unlike most wrestling fans I want to see it play out.
Feeling indifferent towards any in ring performer is a potential death knell. Dave is right, Mercedes has got to do something to move the needle and soon. (imo)
I always enjoyed Mone as a heel. She would be a great heel.

I saw Willow for the first time about five years ago, and she should have been on tv then. She just has that natural babyface charisma that you can't teach. I'm surprised that it took so long for anyone to pick her up and give her a chance.
This should have been done when mjf was active.

Tony Kahn- put the "booking pencil" down, get your phone, hire Bully and Dreamer for a one year contract as writers/bookers and step the f back. Give them the "pencil". Watch the ratings rise.

Best way for TK to have "revenge"? Hire a tough commissioner to act on his behalf and book matches to make the Buck's lives in AEW a living hell. Yes they are EVPs who can't be fired but as talent they'll get beat up in the ring.
That's what Kenny Omega is doing as EVP and putting Team AEW together, so that's a start. But he'll still need someone to represent him and TK in the ring at shows.
(And also please tell TK to stay off TV and out of the booking meetings... We don't need another Dixie Carter.)

Why are we quickly forgetting how they shit on Osprey’s story by Bryan just showing up after that moment at end of the match?
I get where Tommy is coming from about the EVP stakes, but to me that's not the climax of the story the climax is Tony's revenge. Bully hit the nail on the head, "Tony needs his George McFly moment." I'm also with Dave that Team AEW can't win this, because then it's over. Elite gotta cheat to win to keep their heat and let the storyline grow.
Even though I'm not a fan of Jon, I would have chosen Moxley over Eddie.
Mercedes needs to turn heel and use some of the promos that WWE fans have been cutting, be the voice for them have her run down the fans get that nuclear white heat,, as for the elite i could see them forming an alliance with the learning tree of jericho and cutting promos on current aew roster and also denigrating the ECW originals i have a slight fuzzy vision of what could be but im unsure if they can pull it off it would have to go longer than at the next ppv.
Does TK come back & pull an Eric Bischoff, becoming the heel leader of the Elite? 😆. Remember, bischoff took the jackknife thru the stage from Nash months before being revealed as an nwo member. TK loves reliving history from his childhood

I honestly think Bubba's idea for Perry as a face would have been way better. I was super hyped for Okada from all the hype that was talked about him but so far I don't feel he has lived up to the hype. I really feel like AEW NEEDS Bubba and Tommy to come in and help TK, without the backstage bullshit. They genuinely want to help TK make it better, i dont understand this flat refusal to seek help....
Like many people, I saw a lot of potential in Jack Perry when I first became aware of him. I thought he could be a massive babyface star if everything was done right. It even seemed like things were going in that direction early on. Unfortunately, Perry is his own worst enemy. He got linked up with the PWG crew early in his career, and picked up a lot of bad habits that he doesn't seem to be able or willing to get rid of. Also, he just doesn't have the right personality type. He is arrogant and introverted, which are two qualities you do not want in a star babyface. It just isn't meant to be.
If I were a betting man, Bryan hasn’t had his last WWE match. When he’s part time, if he’s not under a contract I think HHH would bring him in for a run.

Bubba asked the Busted Open nation to give AEW another chance after the All Out footage so I listened to Uncle Bully. After a few weeks I’m done with AEW.

The fact that you guys talked for 30 minutes about the Elite story and didn't mention Swerve once shows how busted the storyline is. I mean he's only your name on the door world champ, nbd right? 😂 You guys are some of the most experienced guys out there and even you forgot he existed. FTR has no momentum.
For historical context, can you imagine taking about nwo or attitude era corporation without mentioning how the world champ factored into it?
MJF is their stone cold so they should drag it out longer. Have team AEW lose and Tony say “I made a deal with the Devil” then mjf comes out.
This is WCW all over again, group comes in runs management down, figurehead gets hurt (this time TK instead of EB), I see TK coming back in and siding with the Elite. Since TK was a huge WCW fan I see this being his thought process as "they will never see it coming."
