Most great single wrestlers came from tag teams which is good for Jade.
Bret. Shawn. Austin. Triple H. The rock. Hall and Nash. Heck even taker was in tag and stables as was sting with warrior.

This also tells you that WWE is a juggernaut outside North America so Aew neckbeards better shut it with their wembley talk cause WWE is coming for that attendance record too.

Buly and Mark talking about Godfather benching 450. Big E and Braun tied for the record at Cena's gym at 630 lbs. Big E then went 635 with Roman spotting him. Brock maxed at 525 and Roman maxed at 550lb. Brock said that people do not realize how strong Roman really is, because of his overall athleticism. He said y'all Samoan boys are just built different.

If you notice Michael Cole said “Guerrilla warfare” and right after that Corey Graves said “Destiny….something something” so they are acknowledging the name so maybe they’ll still get the G.O.D name ??
They need to let them keep their name, that's what they've been know as for over a decade.
That type of reference is how they used to acknowledge the wrestlers histories without saying it. But mow they just say it... So a reference like that feels unnecessary if they're gonna keep the name, but at the same time it's a new era. We'll see.

Tama is the mvp, he hasnt used a single offensive move other than punches, kicks, and a hands together smash, no words, but the way he moves and portrays emotions on his face is almost unmatched

Jade has the look she needs a year at least to learn and cut promos. Don't have to rush anything. Plenty of time to build her up. These things take time 🙌🙌
As many have already said on here the crowd. Cody vs Aj and Randy and KO vs Solo and Tama were just as good if not better than the women's match.
The guys sold me on Jade honestly. I wanted to keep my expectations at a bare minimum but now I have to raise them at least a little. The idea of her vs Charlotte is definitely tempting.
I think they put jade and bianca together because:
jade needs to get acclimated like Mark said, but her case is different. Usually talent comes in, and they build themselves up to the audience, they work their way through NXT, then the midcard, then make it to the main event scene. The thing with jade is, she’s already in that Main Event scene position. The WWE, and Jade herself have done such a good job building her in the few moments she’s had that she already comes across as a main event player. Eliminating Nia Jax (who would go on to main event literally the next PPV Elimination Chamber). So you have someone who is already a main event player and has been built like one BUT she’s also just a tad green and needs more time to adjust to the WWE system. How do you hide some of those flaws she has yet to work out? put her in a tag team, but it can’t be with just anyone. It has to be with someone else who is just as explosive as Jade, this is where bianca comes in. You can’t pair jade with a midcarder or an NXT call up because
1. you don’t want to mess with the image fans have built of jade on the back of that royal rumble performance, pairing her with someone who isn’t as over as her will mess with her aura
2. If you’re trying to teach her about the main event scene the best thing to do would be to pair her with a main eventer
in comes bianca who’s had a similar archetype as jade and gets billed as a monster of the division in her own right and has all this experience to boot from being in that position, she’s won world titles, she’s main event ed PLE’s, that’s the kind of rub you want to give jade, and when they finally have that 1 v 1 for a world title way down the line it’ll be magical

The second I saw Jade I thought about Bianca. The what ifs started, and the only comparison I could think of tag team wise is Brothers of Destruction

I feel bianca is helping her. She is still alittle off. She is so athletic. She is still learning. Im a fan of her even in AEW. Bianca and noami get her there. She looks amazing. Cant wait when it comes natural to her. Thats when its on!!!
Jade look pretty decent in her first long match with Bianca against the Kabuki Warrior. She looks lost after the confusion with Kairi and Asuka being who is legal...as for the MVP, that would be the who damn crowd in Lyon, France. They put tears in my eyes seeing so much passion coming out from them.
Imo it's always dumb to have someone win a title in their first long form match. They could've had Bianca & Jade win the titles down the road after a proper feud with Kari & Asuka instead of just a spur of the moment thing

The MVP of Backlash was the crowd of Lyon. The ladies Tag match had the potential to be that but it had to many botches in the match. The rest of the card was really good but still the crowd was the MVP that night

I am so happy for Jade tho. It is so good to see a talent being used properly and guided as well. I always felt she would be a wasted talent by the time she left aew.
Im really happy at how over she is and specially the fact she looks so healthy and happy. You can feel shes living her gimmick and moment to the max.
My wife who hates female wrestling. Is now loyal fan of jade and i was able to get her hooked with my other 2 mamis. Rhea and Bianca.
Shes liking these girls that look that they actually walk their talk. And their matches feel real and have weight and great selling. While.other girl matches lack that.
These girls are able to do matches that i do feel that odd slo mo feeling all the girl matches usually have.
Heck these girl can actually work a good angle and match vs some of the guys too. Not only because of their size and looks but also their selling and match knowledge is really on point. Jade will be a female lesnar until lesnar daughter joins up

Don't sleep on Bianca she's in a league with them as well, she's just busy training Jade and making her look good. But once that's over she'll be back to classics

European crowds in football can be crazy but European crowds in basketball in an enclosed area an are just bonkers!

That's a tough one because on one hand Bianca definitely seems like she could be an interesting heel but when you look at Jade it honestly looks like she could be a very very good heel she's already booming with confidence but she also has a presence that she could back up whatever she says so I feel like it would probably be Jade before Bianca mainly for the fact that Jade honestly looks like she is a natural heel or could at least become one organically
In my opinion, they both play the heel better than the face. They're imposing figures with chips on their shoulders. I mean, Bianca's gimmick is literally the "Est," which is basically saying I'm better than you.
Truly enjoyed this clip. From the women getting their praise and recognition to Ron Simmons and the Godfather getting their praise and recognition too.
Only makes sense putting Jade with Bianca only for Jade to turn heel & eventually set up a rivalry between em both 💯
1:36 with Bianca being the veteran of the 2, she can help get Jade up to speed even faster. We all know the best classroom for the business is in the cars on those long drives. That's where I learned the nuances that you can't learn doing drills & bumping in the schools.
I honestly think this was their (WWE) way of building up to a rivalry. Cause they can just throw them in there as opponents but then how do you build a story outta these 2, one already being a face & one coming in as the biggest face since debut. i think them being in a tag team is how they’re building that story for when it’s time to have Bianca vs Jade. you have a heel coming out of this & you have a story for them to tell when it’s time for that. They also just look good together & I think they’re also gonna use them to do for the women’s tag what Gunther did for the IC title & make it more important to us. At the end I’m pretty sure we’re gonna see one crazy match between the two when it comes. Cause as of now who do you see beating them but 1 of them if you understand & that makes sense.
I think the perfect comparison for Jade is HBK.
Shawn was in a tag team to start off until his star power couldn't be contained any longer.
After years of being a great solo guy he was once again put in a group as a leader so he and HHH could create something special. Jade could eventually be a leader of a group to create something special for her.

It had nothing to do with Bianca and Jade "vibing" together...Triple H wants a return on his investment and the best way to utilize Jade right now is teaming her up with an experienced wrestler like Bianca Belair. She's still green af and needs more in-ring time so this is a good way for her to get that and learn as she goes.

They could be great partners and rivals if Jade improves (which she looks to be doing over the first couple matches). Their interactions on tv just seem awkward/forced. Don’t get me wrong, they don’t have to be friends to do good business but good chemistry can take them to another level.
I completely agree with this take Jade and Tiffany Stratton have extremely huge potential Jade definitely has the potential to be a unicorn and be a truly once in a generation kind of talent given enough time she already has a present that is unlike anything I've ever seen out of the women's division Tiffany Stratton in my opinion has the potential to truly be a pier in terms of accomplishments and being over with the fans like some of the Four Horsemen such as Becky Lynch and Bailey in terms of Charlotte just like what was said she's practically the ceiling at the moment this has officially turned into an arms race of talent who can reach that next level and breakthrough
