Every time I watch one of these videos I start wanting to play Skyrim again... or rather, spend another several hours modding and tweaking my setup. Seriously though, I love these videos and the editing is awesome, Gim! The Skyrim modding community is incredible (to say the least) and just keeps getting bigger and better.

Usually I'm not a fan of graphics overhauls (I just really like vanilla) - but your game looks great. Looks very HD Fable. Great video!
yeah as for now I'm into the slightly enhanced textures with a bit of extra vibrancy on top, not straying too far away from the OG Skyrim feel. DOF generally makes everything look better in videos as well. Glad you enjoyed the vid, thnx :)

My current channel's max-modded playthrough includes Compass Navigation Overhaul (the best!) and Quick Look (although I use EE for various reasons). But Immersive Folded Hands is a new one for me and the reason I watch your great vids. Thanks for the recommendation. I'm going to add it to my list right now.

Those animations mods are really impressive, used with AI and dialog overhauls really do help bring life to NPCs, along with those appearance mods your using, care to share the mods or do an NPC mod show case?
Outside of Dibella's Blessing for the npc females seen in the cities, it's just a bunch of different texture & mesh replacing mods put together. Might make for a good video someday, I'll make sure to put in the my neverending list of videos to make 😅
@@SgtGimlinho no pressure intended. But an NPC overhaul list that shows how to do more than just choose replacer packs is a niche in the modding videosphere I'm sure would be much appreciated.
I'm personally leaning towards installing Dibella's blessing, but I don't want to say goodbye to Bijin Lydia or Breylana just yet.
@@rvawildcardwolf2843well you could just download the bjin singular character download then overwrite dibella’s or you could download bjins then delete all the files except the ones pertaining to those two, download dibellas blessing and delete the Lydia and Brylena file therefore merging the two. Obviously make sure the mods are compatible with your load orders main stat overhaul mods.

I just bought Skyrim on the Epic Mega sale and was looking for the best mods for the game, amazing video I probably use all of these mods, but you didn't mention your visual mods
The armor in my loot list / inventory doesn't show the armor value comparison number anymore. I noticed yours doesn't either. Do we know what mod is causing that? I thought I remember reading about it somewhere, but I'm 600 mods deep and I can't remember...

My Bethesda mod menu is missing so I’ve been stuck using my vortex mods along side the around 100 Bethesda mods I had installed before I did the update to 1.6.640 And I have yet to find a way to fix this issue.
Sadly I can't use the Compass Overhaul in my load order. I get consistent CTD's with it. I really like this mod too.

I love to mod my games and no joke I only spend a couple of minutes playing the game before seeing something that I want to change, and thus I go to mods to change it, which with adhd i get distracted and download other mods i see spending literal hours modding only to realize i have to go to work. I had to do a hard wipe of my skyrim mod order because I screwed up switching from vortex to mod organizer, I had 90 GB worth of mods that I had to delete and I don't remember them all so I'm looking for new mods to run and have fun with so thank you for this vid.

I believe I am solving that problem right now hopefully I am I'm making a core mod list for me to build off of as in I always download these mods and keeping them on a hard drive that way I can just copy it and put it onto my account and then mod from there cutting down the time that it takes me to mod at least that's the hope but I haven't played the game is like 3 months because I've been working on this

Would love if one day folks posting "these are the must-have mods" would post them as a nexus mod collection in addition to counting them off / linking them.
The Dogs being overrated comment hurt me a little since my favorite mod of all time is Attack Dogs by Palenoise. Even if the textures are a bit outdated having choices of magical dog companions is a lot of fun for me. And it turns Vigilance into a badass rottweiler!
But I do respect your devotion to Harold the Pack Goat. Sometimes it's the basic idea mods for fun sidekicks that are the ones we most love.

Hey sarge I know I'm late to the vid and its unlikely that you will see this but could you do a recommendation for xbox mods, I've not got a lot of time on my hands with kids and work so would love your input.
Keep up making cinematic and helpful videos, once I have a PC again I'll use these mostly and probably EVG Conditional idles but until then I'll be a scrub on xbox.

Hi , Has anyone got a way I can get unofficial skyrim special edition patch 4.2.1 if anyone know a way I can get it or if anyone has got it if they'd be willing send me a copy of the folder it'd much appreciated, need the patch to work with skyrim 1.5.97 even though a great deal of people play on that version they've removed the compatible ussep off nexus
