Skarbowsky spoke up, recently, about this compilation.
He explained he wanted the students to listen to him the day after, when he would came back for more technical and theorical teachings.
Knowing he was facing young and potentially hot-minded wannabe fighters, he wasn't sure they would lesson if he'd go TOO gentle on them, while being a super humble, super respectful and super gentle man, usually.
"So I had to be a little firm, just enough to make sure to set them in the right mind to listen, and not lose precious time trying to win their respect all over, the next day."
Wasted or not, that's just sound logic and very controlled and canalized strenght, lol ;)

At this point Skarbowsky had been retired from active competition for five years, was clearly not in great shape with a gut hanging over his trunks, was hammered and then went out and manhandled GSPs whole team, going about 20% at most. And GSPs team had Michael Johnson, Alex Caceres, Jonathan Brookins and Cody McKenzie, who combined for 34 UFC wins. JCS just played with his food.
