a lot of people would say that using exp nodes on your special skills (arachnid reflection and solar crest) is best, but I would suggest using the exp to level up nodes that have a priority for your class because those nodes will max themselves eventually and don't have the largest impact on your class

For optimal nodes, do we always need one skill twice to max it? Say I wanna max raging blow (I'll need 2 tri nodes with raging blow in different order) in order to max it right?
yeah that's exactly it! 1 node gets your boost nodes to level 25 which is half of the max level 50 (without the assumption of slots) so you always need a skill to show up twice for it to be maxed, and you don't want it to show up 3 times because then you waste levels, and obviously 1 node is not enough, so 2 is the sweet spot you always need to aim for! @@akkad398 i opened all my nodes, then disenchanted them all then crafted new ones then sold them at the auction house. im 220 and i barely have 1.2m range

Quick question, I either missed it or you didn't mention it... For the node slots, if you pay for a slot then advance to the next 5th level (eg 220 - > 225), what happens? Do you still unlock a slot or does nothing happened because you paid for that specific level's slot?

Seriously this helps a lot. I was so freaking confuse what to do or how to use it. Is there a site to find what type of nodes you need for each class or is it more like “I’d play the class long enough to know what I need” feel.

Depends how many perfect trios you have: 1 perfect trio = 2 boost nodes with the same skills 2 perfect trios = 4 boost nodes with the skills you need 3 perfect trios = 6 boost nodes with the skills you need
@@akkad398 Gotcha. My class (Aran) only needs 2 perfect trios. I am guessing it's more optimal to have 2 perfect trios at level 25 instead of 3 perfect trios at level 17 then? Also, for players who returned for the vent and got a bunch of experienced nodes, would you recommend holding them to level up spider skill, or just use them on boost or 5th skill nodes?
I opened my 30 + 30 nodestones I got for my first character on reboot (burning), Adele thinking I'd main her... only to realize after trying out other chars while lvling them for legion that I really don't like Adele nearly as much. Now I'm on my new main, with no nodes and feeling awful. I should've paid more attention when you said open all of them on your **main**.
That happens! Not everyone decides their main in one go! Just know that without the nodestones you have to be a little more patient with your new main. Try to level up arcane symbols and make the character stronger in other regards to compensate for the lack of nodes
Yeah this is the fake arcane weapon, this character is nowhere near strong enough for a real one, not only that this character is old so that's why it still has the next legend. I can't say I've had the issue of this medal being removed from my inventory
@@akkad398 yeah my bossing mules had that medal cause its good and i dont wanna bother getting antellion medal, but now it got removed ! rip ! i guess i should get the ursus medal now xD if you know of an easier and better medal let me know
@@akkad398 im playing hero too rn and the perfect trinodes right now are #1 Final attack valhalla and raging blow #2Puncture rising rage beam blade right? so that means instead of those perfect ones i could have the secondary nodes just have them contain these just in a different order`?
Just try to make sure that they are around the same level, this way you don't waste any node shards having to craft more nodes than you needed to, hopefully this helps!
@@allenrichard8615 oh my apologies, so the max level for each node, goes all the way to 25, plus the enhanced slot which boosts the skill to level 30. Special nodes (the purple ones) however cannot be leveled at all

Very informative great guide man! The only thing I'm confused by is you made final attack trinodes and you were able to enchance your other final attack tri nodes, I'm trying to do the same and enhance my Flame sweep trinode . I craft it the same way you crafted yours, only problem is I'm not able to use it to enhance the original node Idk why . ..
The top ability in each trinode indicates what node it is. So if the node STARTS with Final Attack it is a final attack node. So when crafting a node to enhance another, make sure that node is of the same kind so that you can upgrade it.
@@akkad398 For example I have a Flame sweep trinode for my FP Mage, the top trinode is Flamesweep, I crafted 2 dif Flame sweeps and nothing. Couldnt enhance Idk why and I wonder if any other people are having this issue.
@@ryan-gu2iy the other nodes that you craft also have to be flame sweep. Also when you want to enhance something, right click the node you want to enhance, and click the button that's there. If they still don't show up it might just be a bug. Any node that you want to upgrade should be showing up in the enhance menu if you have duplicates
It's hardly ever the case, that's why I generally just said putting 5th jobs skills is worth the most. 5th skills generally are better for both bossing/mobbing until you make space and get high levels on boost nodes

My opinion as its seems after I tested few times that sometimes/in some cases trionodes its bullshits- maybe i wrong but its seems like that .sometimes I see differences but sometimes I don't see any differences. I tested vellum in example with and wihtout trio nodes - seems like I deal the same damage to him with and without trio nodes , I tested within 10 sec example . with trio nodes I have 120% demon lash. and its after an last update when "IGNITION" event finished . I have thought maybe its bug or something . maybe I wrong but really seems like that after few tests . before an update (2 weeks ago) I alsmot defeated him when i was 5-6m damage and only 40% demon lash . I took him up to 40% hp within 10sec -I blinded him. and now seems I deal same damage when I got 120%demon lash and used more buffs so its up to 7m damage. maybe I wrong but its seems like that after few tests - and I encountered him countless times .
Yeah so, either by crafting the node you want and rolling the other 2 skills with it. Or opening a node and hoping it has all 3 abilities that you are looking for

Nothing happens because you already paid for it, however when you hit that level you can unlock 2 node slots again instead of 1

hello, so when i reach level 200, i prioritise putting my 5th job skills in the matrix, but when levelling them up, i prioritise the boost nodes?
Yes so after you put your 5th job skills you wanna make sure that when you have space that you put your boost nodes in as fast as possible!
Is it good to spread the boost nodes into 6 slots? Or would you recommend using the node shards in leveling up the two perfect trinodes?
Depends how many perfect trios you have:
1 perfect trio = 2 boost nodes with the same skills
2 perfect trios = 4 boost nodes with the skills you need
3 perfect trios = 6 boost nodes with the skills you need

is that the fake arcane and dom from the big flame compensation ? btw did you also got your medal removed form equips with recent patch ?

yes either that, or just add up the abilities that you're using until you have two of each in whatever combination!

I say using about 4 boost nodestones is good early game vs certain 5th job skills.

For boost nodes roughly 1000
For boost nodes and 5th job skills roughly 2000
For boost nodes 5th job skills and general nodes roughly costs 4000 nodes
