- This is my cover of "Through the Never" by Metallica off of the Black Album. I hope you like it! The guitar is an Ibanez J Custom RG. This was edited using Final Cut Pro and Logic 9.

I really like your covers! They are accurate and you almost never fail. There's just one thing that you should do if it's possible. You should make some of your videos able to watch via a phone. That would be awesome!

That tone...
Nice cover man but fig. 4 is suppose to be E5, two open E (Palm Muted), G5, two open E (Palm muted) which I'm pretty sure u had that but then it slide to 6th fret on the E string. U did slide to 4th fret on A string and then the rest u did awesome but overall killer cover man.

Everyone but the original creators of a song is going to have influences that shape how they play. I can see what you mean, but that doesn't change the fact that it is pretty much a technical replication of the original.

That's such a nice guitar you got there mate! Shame I'm a lefty. Fortunately my friend's dad bought some parts of Ebay and is gonna build me a lefty Ibanez (the body is a Starfield - Probably one of the only ones in existence) and let me buy it off 'im for the price of the parts

Hello, I'm a downpicker here. I can pick Master of Puppets at 130% speed.
There really isn't much of a secret or lesson to be learned. I improved my playing by simply playing.
Some of the songs I played in order were:
Creeping Death (great for beginners!)
Master of Puppets (harder and took practice but NOT impossible)
Blackened
The End of the Line
That Was Just Your Life
Moth Into Flame
Through the Never (live)
Lost Society - Trash All Over You

Metallica Von Slayerstein dude, could you post a video playing the intro of MoP at 130% speed? I'd love to study your technique (don't get me wrong, I don't doubt you when you say you can do it, I just really wanna improve my technique by studying yours)

If you want to improve your down picking hand, practice doing up picking only with a metronome... it will dramatically improve your down picking speed
