In the movie Lost Highway directed by David Lynch the song Rammstein and Heirate Mich from the Album Herzeleid were used.

I just went to a concert of them last week, they played this one, zeit, nothing better to hear them with full power, makes it even better. They are one of the most creative bands there is, the poetic lyrics, the videos, the music, they are like an expensive wine, they keep getting better and better. Nothing like it around

I also recommend the piano version. - There is a making of (this version) which is pretty interesting. They were not completely satisfied with the result of the first director and then shot some extra scene with another.

This is one of the best songs that they have , I can’t even say which of the two versions is the best one . And literally my hurt burns in every chorus ! They always make me enjoy of other feelings , they are so powerful, intense , creepy, scary even sad sometimes and make all those feelings so enjoyable with their art . Good music and videos ! ❤waiting for seeing them live in some concert and that will be my final goal !

@Mezjean It is far off their "typical" sound, yes, that's what you get with a "piano version". But Rammstein do have their fair share of beautiful ballads, one of which is Diamant and that does only add a cello to the mix iirc, another one is literally called Klavier = "Piano".

this song live was one of my fav on the 2019 show, it didnt have any fire or explosion elements, only light but it was still so impresssiv. on second note you should check out the piano version of that one, its even more terrifying in a rammstein way

I can tell you live it is just as good my friend. In general after I saw them live a few times this year I'm pretty sure every song they play live is more or less made so they can play it live proberly. Great rections by the way!

Great reaction as always! Here's a little rundown on the song itself: The song's lyrics involve a narrator describing the terrors of nightmares. The opening line of the song's intro and chorus ("Now, dear children, pay attention. I have brought something for you") is taken from the German children's TV Show "Mr Sandman", which provided children with a "nice" bedtime story. The song's narrator appears as a much more darker version of this character.
In this video, the character of the Sandman is played by Melanie Gaydos a famous model. Melanie Gaydos has suffered from a rare genetic defect since she was born: Her head is bald, her teeth and nails are malformed. She first appears to a sleeping Richard Kruspe, triggering nightmares and sending him into a state of agony. Meanwhile, Till terrorizes the complex of Beelitz-Heilstätten (military hospital of the Imperial German Army and Adolf Hitler recuperated there after being wounded in the first world war), which acts as an orphanage. He kidnaps the orphans and places them in a cage located in the main bathroom. A female warden attempts to defend the children with a shotgun, but Till overpowers her. The warden appears in the video both young (Viktorija Bojarskaja) and old (Anna von Rüden), while Till remains the same age, indicating immortality and paranormal abilities.
While guarding the orphans, Till takes a grotesque, insect-like form with an elongated head and fingers. The children are then used in various examinations and surgeries with the rest of the band playing the doctors. The female warden is also seen assisting them in her younger form. One of the surgeries sees a child's tears extracted through a syringe, which is then vaginally injected by the Sandman. The Sandman is also subject to examinations by the doctors, as Paul H. Landers is seen giving her a gynecological examination.
She later walks in a dress shielding two small children, possibly indicating that the tears are involved in a form of In vitro fertilisation. While Till is away from the main bathroom, the children (portrayed by the rest of the band as disheveled adults) escape from their cage and the orphanage. This causes Till to tear out and consume his own heart while the Heilstätten is engulfed in an inferno. The video ends with the liberated walking away from the building, while the chorus of the piano version plays in the background, signalling the video of the piano version as an afterword. (Wikipedia)
The song "my heart burns" is the film score for "Lilja 4-ever". A film about child prostitution. That's why you could interpret the text based on this film. In the film, girls from Russia lured to Sweden in the hope of a better life, in which a young and attractive man promises her heaven there: "Dear children, take care, I am the voice from the pillow" Then the sentence "Tore it out of my chest, I can imagine that she died inside every time she was raped. Since the rapes happen under cover of the night, this motif comes up frequently in the song. They steal your hot little tears, The film is a nightmare and it leaves a feeling of emptiness and powerlessness ...
This is the song that got me into rammstein. Amazing changed my life forever.

Listen to the piano version with Till. his voice is awesome. The song becomes even more intense when you know the story behind it. It's about a children's home where the children were abused and had nightmares. The piano does not play Flake, but Sven Helbig, a German composer and pianist.
The place where the video was shot is also a very exciting place (lost place). Beelitz sanatoriums southwest of Berlin. An old sanatorium for tuberculosis sufferers.

I believe that Till is actually good . I believe Till also suffered abuse and in turn he may have either hurt or killed someone but either out of self defense or desperation and anger built up. I believe he is trying to save the children that are in the orphanage from abuse at the hands of the nurses...my take is that the boy in the beginning who makes that cut ur throat motion is Till when he was living there and he suffered and saw new kids coming and being abused so he vowed to take revenge and save the children whom were there and spare anymore children from that horrific abuse. I also believe that the voice coming from the pillow is Tills voice, a pillow is known as a comfort object Till sings "I sing until the new day comes, a bright glow in the heavens, my heart burns" he is helping them through another night and showing them that there's still hope.
