Great tips Alice 😘 I hate biker and shearling jackets, however I believe that if a product is made from an animal, it’s important to honour that sacrifice by wearing it fully and not letting it go to waste, regardless of changing fashion trends x
This is interesting and I enjoyed this video . I own alot of a bags from the brands . I have a real Hermes and a ‘fake’ hermes kelly. The Kelly I took with me to hermes once and the sell’s representative thought it was real so did the customer near me . I let them know it was not from the hermes brand lol. The customer wanted to know where I bought it *suluxy* so she could get one like it lol. Honestly I was not embarrassed about it but was amused that everyone thought it was real . :)

Buy the best fabric & construction your budget affords. What is import is how does it look on your body. Does it fit your lifestyle. Is it properly tailored with alterations to fit. Will the garment hold up with proper care. Good clothing is expensive and land fills are being filled with discarded clothing. Forget the trends buy for quality and longevity.
A lot of us in Northern Europe (and I'd guess parts of North America) cannot afford to only wear the lightweight albeit wool-rich coats and a lot of our styling is dictated by first and foremost protecting oneself from the sub-zero temperatures, snow and wind. So I am not counting on the puffer coat to exit the chat anytime soon and certainly not the heavier scarves and absolutely no Mary-Janes in winter, even with the thickest woollen socks.
I love everything minus Patagonia jacket. I think these are classic casual out wear and as a nurse I loooove Patagonia jacket and perfect for work. Def not dressy outward but I feel will never go out of style, at least here in US, we love it in So Cal.
I think anything too trendy will be out of style very quickly, well tailored good quality things are never out of style.... the Patagonia jacket... this is outdoorwear, there is nothing wrong with wearing them in the Canadian Rockies or walking your dogs in them, otherwise they do not belong to the street neither this season no in any other season. I personally dont like these giant coats either with huge shoulders, etc, they look like men's coat.... have a nice long tailored coat, it doesnt need to be that snatched, but I am still not getting these over, over, oversized ones that almost like swallow the person, especially if you are petite. The micro bag.... waste of money, have a decent bag or a clutch for occasion.. Shearling jacket, I think this is also a lifestyle piece, if you are an actual biker, you can wear it, it was never really a nice flattering statement piece, just something to fill the racks in the stores for teenagers.
I haven’t been feeling the moto jacket for years now, I’m more into a wool or cashmere tailored blazer or coat. I’ll hang onto my suede/leather moto jackets, I might change my mind at some point.
I purchased Versace Runway fringed moto jacket 2024. It was a significant purchase. It always receives compliments. I dress for myself not what’s trendy “in”.
I hate fleece jackets, there’s nothing elegant or stylish about them. Sweatshirts and sweatpants, or little gym outfits, too. I don’t know how people can stand wearing all that sweaty polyester, anyway. I’ll stick to classics in natural fabrics.

Don’t agree about moto jackets or shearling moto jackets. They have a time and place and shearling is warm in colder climates.
Keep the fashion tips coming! Because of you, I am the best dressed woman in Toronto! 😊

This jacket you're wearing looks too small.
