      Thanks so much Ken, we're always grateful for your support. To tell you the truth, we weren't able to record like usual because Kat has lost her voice, but we wanted to share something on our channel, so we tried this kind of review compilation to try something a bit different. We should be back with a new (and shorter!) video very soon. Thanks for your patience 🙏

      Great idea - we've done one video on phrases for an online business meeting, it's mainly focused on video call and technical problems. ruclips.net/video/LQxYLLdixQo/видео.html Hopefully that helps a little - we will definitely make more Business English videos in the future

    Hello, hope you're doing well. I have a question. I need to sharpen my English listening and writing as well. What do you recommend I do?

    • @highlevellistening
      @highlevellistening  2 дня назад +1

      Listening skills take time, maybe listening to a radio station or something 100% in English would be helpful, some students enjoy listening 10 to 20 hours a month to help improve English listening skills.
      Writing skills will depend on what you would like to improve, more conversational typing via text to friends or more formal explanations for an exam?

    • @raularcella6856

      @@highlevellistening thanks for the tips, very useful. I meant when it comes to understanding native speakers. Any advise ? Or just keep listening at least 10 to 20 hours per month?Regarding writing skills I'd like to improve things such as formal and informal letters, reviews, proposals and so on as I'm preparing for a B2 exam

    Could you write please this grammer ;Mark said that "we'll get started by explaining each...."
    StartED . Why isn't it START

    • @highlevellistening
      @highlevellistening  Месяц назад

      We will “start” by doing this.
      We will “get started” by doing this
      “To get started” is a phrase that will need the past tense of the verb and it makes the action of beginning work on something
      It’s more commonly used as a phrase, hope that helps!
