Picked up Milwaukee inflator for 84.00 , ridgid detailing kit for 20.00 and gorilla platform ladder for 24.00 so homedepot is ahead of lowes on the deals .

Lowes is closed on thanksgiving Black Friday displays get setup overnight on Wednesday night. They do have a really nice dremel kit that comes in a metal toolbox looking case with multiple drawers and a main compartment as one of the door busters and a dewalt 7 tool kit that comes with a rolling soft case that is a pretty good deal
The magnetic driver is the thing at the top they bend really easy and lose the little magnetic button...if you use an impact ..I gave all my kits with these to the wife...I went back to dewalt kits and shockwave drivers...even semi retired i break everything else in heavy gauge studs....have not yet tried the makita bits or drivers yet....good video Vince...

I just bought the Kobalt XTR 3 tool combo . Comes with the drill,impact,and light,1) 4.0 ah lithium ultimate output battery,1) 2.0 ah lithium battery,charger,hard case, and bar for hammer drill,2 belt clips,and it is amazing.
Not sure how accurate this is but a few people on manager level have told me Sears is not able to sell craftsman anymore so there launching a tool line called DIE HARD & craftsman will be lowes & ace hardware, but guess time will tell.. on a separate note were you able to pice up the milwaukee M12 fuel oscillating tool at the depot? Grabbed one today & for $150 & a free M12 2.0 battery plus came with a blade & sanding attachment so pretty good deal I think plus the oscillating tool kit you checked out last week at around $79 I think you scanned it with a depot employee tool but now was $39.99 but I decided to scan it & was coming out at $29.99 so another great deal OH also grabbed the Dewalt parts case with the removable yellow bins normally over $20 is now $9.99 & the husky water proof case with the removable foam you can make whatever shape you want for $20 so I wonder what December's sale is gunna be. Ok sorry for the long post but had a lot to say...ha ha keep up the great videos man ..

I want to jump into the Kobalt platform. Does anyone see them quiting the 24 volt anytime soon? I like platforms that last. Dewalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Metabo, and now maby Kobalt. What can Kobalt do that the big boys can’t?

@@paedahe4975 they're not getting rid of Kobalt power tools. Their new XTR line just debuted this year. It's owned by Lowe's, so as long as they want to make maximum profit vs minimal profit from the third party brands, they will continue producing them.
Everything I've seen says their standard 24V line is good to great, and the XTR line is excellent. I'm considering using them as a second battery platform. I have all DeWalt now, but if I jump into the Kobalt line, I have a second, cheaper option for other less used tools. They have some badass deals on some little specialty tools that I wouldn't mind investing in, like the right angle impact wrench and the 4" circ saw.
I don't think you'll be disappointed in Kobalt's power tool options as long as they make everything you want/need.

(P.S. I too had the same reaction to those levels when I first saw them a day or two earlier...they are really nice.) I dig the cut out in the top rail with the mirrors, so you could plumb a post front to back while facing it (if that makes any sense.) Love your videos. You have helped us all score some great deals and save $$$ in the process. This holiday season, I think it's safe to say we are Thankful for Vince, the Mrs., everybody at VCG, and everyone in the Very Cool Gang.
Lowe's has the Craftsman 6 gal compressor w 3 tools for $179, Home Depot has the Dewalt 6 gal compressor w Brad nailer for $179... Which one is better ? I'd mostly use it for tires and blowing dust/dirt and probably wouldn't use the tools often

Milwaukee tape measure is almost $10 for two with tested 12 feet extended at Home Depot the sign shows one price then when you scan it instead of 14 or $15 it’s nine something

my store has the drill and impact driver , seems ok , im on the dewalt platform so i stick to that. not all the lowes stores stock all the items , depends on the region .

The kobalt seem heavier duty, but I didn’t note the accuracy of them.
Since we're on the topic of bad things, sometimes and I feel really bad when I do it. I don't wanna do it, but sometimes I have no choice. But it gets the job done, so I'm happy, but still feel a little naughty. Sometimes I put chrome sockets my impact 😜😜😜
