For some reason, people are thinking these forgotten products don't have a good quality even if it's not the case. These reviews are so important thanks Jen!
I from *suluxy* bought a Birkin and I went into Louis Vuitton at South Coast Plaza with a friend who wanted to buy a card case and we received great customer service. They offered us water..LOL I would never buy authentic knowing that are just as good.
In my head, if something’s on the lower shelves, it tells me the product must be a good, stable enough product that the store has data to believe people will buy it even if it’s not directly in sight. Like ppl come in looking for it. Especially if it’s full price.

That person who complained about your foundation blending clearly doesn’t watch your content because they would know you have a cool undertone and it’s hard to find shades that don’t look yellow. I think your makeup blending skills are just fine and it really bothers me when people leave hurtful or insensitive comments- especially because you are such a sweet and genuine person!
Jen is right about cool undertones. I have a cool undertone, but not to the degree that she does. I see a lot of foundation shades that are called cool, but they're peachy. Actually, I seem to do better if I look for a neutral toned foundation. Adding pink to my complexion generally isn't good.
@@JenPhelps I can relate- I have really light skin with a distinct olive undertone and it is impossible to find a close match so I do the best I can and blend different shades down my neck to make it work!
@@JenPhelps I think you've got a "really" cool undertone, more so than most people. That's tough for a foundation match. I mean, I've never heard anyone else say that pink blush turns peachy on them. I'm not questioning what you say, I've just never heard it before.
I have a very cool undertone too and finding foundation colors that don't look yellow is near impossible!!! I love your bottom shelf shopping. What fun!
I saw somewhere that using lighter concealers accentuates hollows which I have. So now I use concealer that matches my skin tone and just do a bright inner corner with eye shadow. Works great for me
CG Cheekers is a really good underrated drugstore blush. I used it for decades, but just got away from it over the years. My favorite was Rose Silk. Plus it’s so affordable! The brush that it comes with is laughable (like doll sized…🤣), but the formula is great!
Rose silk was my first blush ever! I denied blush all thru the early 90’s cuz i had it in my head that was too 80’s, and then i broke down and tried it and i was hooked- all thanks to rose silk. I’ve been through a few but always keep one on hand in case they get rid of it. 🧡👍🧡👍
This was a great idea! I absolutely love the Cover Girl blush you used, perfect color. On Graceful Beauty's channel, she shared using the Baby skin primer on top of your concealer, rather than using powder to set it. So, if you have dry skin, you don't get creases or cakeness. It totally works!💚
Jen, I really love your blush placement! I also bring my blush in a bit closer to my nose, and a bit higher, closer to my eyes. It gives such a youthful, healthy, sweet cheeked look. It's fabulous on you!
I’m so glad you showed that the L’Oréal infallible shadows are still around. I’ve looked for them on Amazon and some are priced between $10-$18 🤯 Going to try and find them in my stores😊❤️💄
I will never forget how we used to smush those cheeker blush brushes down into a matted mess back in the 80’s 😆 so that it would make the blush go on softer. Even with a new blush we’d use our old ‘worn in’ blush brush. Oh the memories 😂. I certainly don’t recall washing them ever but I’m sure we’d wear the new brushes in at some point.

I live on Long Island. I love this time of year. Unfortunately it hasn’t rained in 2 months and that effects the vibrancy of the color. Still beautiful though.
That Loreal single in pain au chocolate is one of my favorite one and done eyeshadows. And the CG cheekers are a long-time classic, I always have soft sable around.

I wear black winged eyeliner everyday. The Nyx epic ink liner is literally the only eyeliner I use anymore. I’ve gone through so so many of them they’re soooo good.
The one that was not waterproof made a mess on my face. I try to stick to waterproof; I use L'Oreal Lash Paradise, although I think non-waterproof mascara goes on more lushly.
Love this video! 🩷 I lean cool to neutral but more than anything I have pink undertones. I also have issues with foundation either being too yellow or too light if it’s the correct undertone. I’m like a half shade or so lighter than you.
Love this video!! I’m light olive so even thought your undertone isn’t the same, I go for neutral/cooler more purple undertone blushes, suuuper neutral bronzers, and neutral to cool eyeshadows. I just ordered bk’s travel brush set-thanks for your code!
I wear black winged eyeliner everyday. The Nyx epic ink liner is literally the only eyeliner I use anymore. I’ve gone through so so many of them they’re soooo good.
I love the pain au chocolat shade and almay's Skip the Gym lipstick
Great idea for a video very interesting!
This was really fun! Love seeing beautiful afordable drugstore items that we have forgotten about.😊
Maybelline Great lash still around for over 50 years for a good reason!!
It’s terrible though!!
The one that was not waterproof made a mess on my face.
I try to stick to waterproof; I use L'Oreal Lash Paradise, although I think non-waterproof mascara goes on more lushly.
La girl has a mixing medium for foundation that works real well. I have the same problem finding the right color foundation
I have those! Definitely a much needed item when you have cool skin. 🙏🏻
Love this video! 🩷 I lean cool to neutral but more than anything I have pink undertones. I also have issues with foundation either being too yellow or too light if it’s the correct undertone. I’m like a half shade or so lighter than you.
This was such a fun video! Also, it's great that you give credit to other RUclipsrs when credit is due. Very creators do that.
I graduated in '84 and was using that Soft Sable blush by at least '81 😂 I can't believe it's still around! I loved it ❤
Oh my goodness, my notification came an hour late, that’s annoying. Lol
I’m so happy to have a Jen video! ❤
Love this video!! I’m light olive so even thought your undertone isn’t the same, I go for neutral/cooler more purple undertone blushes, suuuper neutral bronzers, and neutral to cool eyeshadows. I think a difference is I like neutral or cool blushes and lip colors but desaturated. I love any color with gray mixed in for my coloring ❤
Omg that’s a great deal on BKbeauty!
I love when Emily does these videos! So happy you did one to!!!
I absolutely love the Almay lipstick in Worry Less...kind of a CT Very Victoria color
I loved my infallible shadows! I had the green shade. Terrific quality.
Just used your BK Beauty code. I own a few of the brushes, and wanted the Nikki La Rose foundation brush. Thanks Jen!
Aw yay! Thank you for using my code, I appreciate it! 🙏🏻🥰
