@@cheesypizzajokes My mom used to tell to tell me that when I was kid, like, if my brother got a bigger piece of the donut we split or something. It's traumatized me haha
This whole episode shatters your Heart in a million pieces. This song goes perfectly with what is going on. Milo, Claggor, Vander dying. Vi and Powder having a heart breaking argument. Seeing two brothers fight. Powder calling out to Vi crying and being abandoned for the second time. This whole episode was going to turn depressing very fast. Still hits me, now with the song hits even harder.
When Vi realizes that Milo and Claggor are under the broken parts of the building just breaks me and then her lashing her anger out on Powder kills me. I feel for both of them.
The voice and the expression, it just feels soooo real. We've all had those moments as kids when we realize we have seriously screwed up, but this just hits so much harder as we see the sheer amount of destruction her innocent attempt at helping caused. Even as adults if we ever did something as unfortunate as Powder it would completely break us, yet she's just an orphaned child. You hear her break at that very moment, the moment the trauma takes a hold of her innocence.
Yep cried again, its been 13 days since i finished this whole show but something makes me come back to relive the best scenes of the show time and time again. Can't wait for season 2
The ending kills me, because that was it, Vi cementing Powder’s Trauma. Unintentionally, however Vi saying “because you’re a Jinx,Mylo was Right”. Her sister saying her bully brother was right broke her soul. Powder forever haunted by Mylo, plus Powder feeling abandoned while she was still mentally fragile and vulnerable. She was never gonna be the same again, left in the arms of Silco. Greek tragedy.
0:35 When vi was laying there so weak and helpless too the destruction around her.. Mylo and Claggor dead in an instant, Memories shared now gone. her only father figure Vander sharing the same fate mere minutes later from silcos hands..1:20 Absolutely wild when it wraps up to Vi figuring out it was Powder who Jynx the whole situation by intervening, Mylo really was right... Hurt's that the outcome probably could have been different if she only listened.. Idc what anyone says about this show but Im heavily inspired by this amazing character Development and animation. This show is definitely revolutionary on all fronts..
Yupp this is what makes this show a tragedy, everything wouldv've been fixed if any other decision was taken in any other time, plenty of "what ifs" from the very first episode till the last
@Baki Dou are you kidding me Jinx is just child ofcourse she will not listen in that Age they dont think what is a right or not she just wanted to help and btw first time when she saw the Crystal explode was not that big how she can know ?
it would’ve been better if they had taught her instead because clearly complaining wasn’t doing anything but leading her down a worse path where she had felt like she had to do anything (even disobey) in order to prove that she’s not a liability. so for her to listen would’ve been impossible. had she been taught by everyone rather than shunned, the outcome would’ve been far better.
@@WrostGamingLord I love Jinx and Powder both but even in fiction stories, children can also do mistakes, and its perfectly fine to acknowledge them. Its not like anyone is blaming her for this, the OP just elaborated a "what if" scenario and "what if" scenarios usually stem from mistakes that had been made and what could have been if they could be undone
This was an amazing episode, didn't see any of it coming. Reminds me of game of thrones early story telling. Absoloutely brilliant. Also, feel like someone in the team liked FF7 early act, where you lose your feinds underneath the plate and got influenced.
3:04 the only thing that bugged me about the entire series is that the womans LEFT arm is hanging down and it was the LEFT arm that was blown up in the blast. kind of critical continuity error in one of the series' greatest scenes
@@kaelei3197 like my sister went “imagine being sad over a show” “Imagine being a heartless bitch!” As I’m sobbing eating ice cream and hugging the dogs
I thought this was the last episode in the series because I watched it on a dodgy website ( only 3 episodes were available) and was like depressed for 2 days this was the best series ever
She has extreme abandonment issues. After watching her parents die, losing her sister was her worst fear. That’s why she tried so hard to help, but only made things worse. She internalized her self-hatred and pain after that and created Jinx to lock her old self inside.
It’s heartbreaking bc I think if they’d had the ability, Vander and Vi would have helped her mentality. But she needed something much greater than they could provide. Even Vi needed mental help, though it’s less apparent
Just because Vi showed 2 minutes of weakness, powder (who has been weak her entirely life) instantly breaks apart. Just goes to show the world is very cruel and unfair. Simply because Vi is mentally stable, she carries this impossible burden - insane.
Nah hear me out this was one of the most heartbreaking moments in a series that I’ve ever seen like it got dark out of nowhere which makes this show a masterpiece
I worry they’ll never reconcile due to the significance of Powder denouncing their sisterhood. During her and tea party, Jinx asks Vi, “are we still sisters?”, but she already decided that answer on this night. Narratively, I think Jinx ended their sisterhood here.
Now I understand why she turns into a bad her sister abandons her when she needed it most she just wanted to help the little one it's still not nice to leave the little ones because they don't have what it takes to deal with depression or whatever they scare and its so easy they brain goes crazy
Arcane was amazing, so many powerful scenes like this. Unfortunately can't watch this edit because of all the interlacing artifacts. I'm guessing someone converted to 1080i when stripping out the HDCP, bad choice, even 720p would have been better.
Explains why Jinx in the games "blah blahs" or maniacally cackles any references to her past life as Powder out of her consciousness. Also why she`s so obsessed with antagonizing her big sis Vi because to a highly-sensitive person like Powder/Jinx(I am speaking from experience) , negative attention is better than no attention at all.
I don't see why you hate her. She was a child that was very very unstable. She never wanted those close to her to die. It was a huge mistake. This is why it's best to try to to help those with metal problems and if they are very unstable.
@@VengeDracul This was unavoidable though.... We can all make the decision, which in our perspective shows the greatest chance to actually work out for the best, only to have it blow up in our face.
