I think an underrated thing that would go into these kinds of lists is how much of these decks can be "invested" into, as in, how likely they are to get support in the future. For example, cydra, sky striker and branded-related decks are confirmed to get new support, while some decks will probably be stuck with their current lineup for a while. A budget deck being able to be ran for a long time, basically means you'll only have to play for a few cards instead of a new deck.
Good point. Decks like Swordsoul are getting support soon so they will be relevant for a lot longer than other decks that might not be as popular. But usually most decks get at least a card or two every couple of sets that can help them out, even if it's not direct support
Dark World is a disgusting vile deck. It doesn't lack power or anything, it can be incredibly hard to hand trap and unless you Shifter/Droll them you lose your entire hand.... The issue is just running into 1 or 2 Maliss players in bracket ends your chances of topping. They also struggle against Dweller in Ryzeal. I will never sleep on this deck though and think it's one of the strongest decks shown here. I will never forget last WCQ season during one of the top cut matches the DW player went 2nd into a absolute full combo Spright board, and the Spright player lost their board and hand, then got OTKd.
I think another deck that has great potential is Ragnaraika or related piles. The price point for the Raika core is similar to Goblins and I think they have similar versatility as Goblins in slotting them in lots of varied strategies for varying budgets. Raika can be played with Naturia, Rikka, Traptrix, in Insect pile with Beetrooper and Battlewasp, in Ogdoadic Reptile pile, and probably more. I do think Goblins are a more effective strategy overall, however, and they're gonna continue getting support over time.
@@isaiahavila3346 yeah a lot of decks have that one card that's just so much more expensive than the rest. But still, flame swordsman is an awesome deck!
As a floo player myself, I will say Lancea is eh. All it really does is stop map and potential follow up. But if you have some birds in hand and proper build, you can end on Empen, DT, little bird in hand. Also, Snowl is insane right now. It is the bane of Ryzeal. And don't sleep on Scary Sea.
I’m extremely happy I built Bystial-RDA during Fire format. Bystials were much cheaper even if not pennies. Honestly shoudl sell them and hope for stampede lol. I see you guys didn’t do rescue Ace. I’m interested in the deck even tho the sinful spoils engine is dead. Is R-Ace around fire kings without the snake eye stuff?
We don't know too much about rescue ace now that OSS is banned. Losing the snake eye engine hurts a lot. I don't think the deck is bad though, and a pure build can definitely be built on a budget. I think some of the cyberse extra deck cards that some builds run might be a bit expensive though
I just bought runick nutiria and volcanics for 60 dollars so budget fun i can have at locals id say i did pretty good and came with pieces i can put itno other options down the road. @Lakesh811 haven't gotten much play time mainly testing so far and trying some fun tech stuff but I think it can compete out some wins and if you play gravity collapse it's a win against maliss and ryzeal or at least buy you some time

@infinitegaming1015 I guess if you're just playing with tenpai and 3 fenrir then it's budget, but it's not nearly as good as it is with the fiendsmith cards. So with that in mind, sure it's not a bad budget deck but it wouldn't be the best budget deck on the list in my opinion
@@leprechaunshaunI hear a lot of people wanting to shove Fiendsmith into Exodia Millennium as well, does it really benefit from FS that much or would people who want to throw money at the Deck be better served saving their money for the Mulcharmy reprints?

I've been playing Floo since 2022, this is REALLY not the format to bring out the birds again
Ryu-Ge is worth investing in. It goes well with Swordsoul, Dinos/Dinomorphia, True Draco, and Invoked.
I just got everything for the Flame Swordsman deck for $30 bucks. The only card I didn't get was Fighting Flame Sword, which is like $10 bucks a card.

Which means Bird Floo can use Lancea against Maliss. 😈
