Well, I don't know about soulburst. Usually when a mon is already powerful, a an even more powerful form, just makes them broken. You all here, probably remember mega Rayquaza. This thing was so powerful, that it didn't last more than a week in the Ubers tier(a tier for pokemon, that were too powerful, for standard competitive play). Mega Rayquaza, was so broken, that it had its own tier created, Anything goes, which means there are no restrictions, and there you can do whatever you want basically. So yeah, as much I love mega Rayquaza, let's hope that Lamma train studio, won't make the same mistake as Game freak.

Iirc the biggest reason it was moved to AG was because it Mega-evolved with a move and could hold items. If it had its own stone it probably would in Ubers with other strong Mega's, the Primals, etc.
