Just a point to note. You said these are the ships coming out in the next 12 months. That is not what John Crewe said, he said these were the ships they plan to be working on in the next 12 months.
Nice video !! Good job! I have a little theory about the misc Fortune : is it possible that it can do both mining and salvaging?! The thing in the front looks more like a mining device, and maybe the salvage arm seems to be the other thing on starboard side.
Oh yeah and agree I don't like the view port on the lancer series. Main reason I picked up the starlancer is it promises to have a much greater range than the taurus at the cost of firepower. If it doesn't work out I guess I melt it and get a taurus back anyway. :P
I'm really, REALLY hoping that's a Baler head on the Fortune. IDK why but it almost looks like a mining head. Possibly an Arbor. Concerning because we definitely need a more medium size salvager.
defiantly a mining head. I hate the Mole with exposed mining stations....so dumb... So, a ship between the Prospector and the Mole would be very nice imo. And we really need it. Another salvager would be larger, as the Vulture is a intro salvage ship so I would expect the next salvage ship in our hands to be larger.
if it is the poineer and they said 12-18 months although the silde says 12. they also said that the poineer is not ready when base building will come out. Based on that, is that base building will come within 12 months. And I believe that the CSV builder is already done, I think the starlancer is also done i wouldn't be surpriced if they launch the Galaxy with base building. This base on the fact that you cannot buy the CSV and Starlancer right now. The reason for this could be that they would be afraid the other ships wouldn't sell. Because everybody would buy a builder.
showing the terrapin with a med bed has me really excited! What is everyones opinion on the Starlancer series? It seems like the Tac compares with a connie with med beds. I like the tac version but the max has a rear storage what an Nursa could fit in.
@TemplarGuardian I think the Tac has 2 med beds. It seems like it's an "assault" type deal. They all will still be smoked by a Connie if they don't nerf it, lol.
@@tinoschultz8047 but the tac has 2 T3 medbeds so it would not be needed. Now the max has the rear 96 that a nursa could fit into and would be a great addition to the ship
they said that the guardian was going to be released before the end of the year so is that ship at 5:21 confirmed to be the guardian? why put it in the sneak preview for the next year if its dropping before 2025?
the ironclad. it can fit inside of it doing a bit of maths i figured that out.... might be a bit of a tight fit but as long as you get the cargo one you should be fine
the terrapin has 150,000hp or more throw some ambulance lights on it and its a drop ship for recovering injured in battle, the guardian could be useful if its small but a heavy fighter and i can fit 4-6 in a polaris thats useful, id love to see a Pioneer variant that is also a strike carrier or a medium escort carrier, the way te pioneer looks it screams carrier lol
When it comes to the Fortune, whether I get it (CCU to it from Vulture) will depend on its cargo. It looks small enough to solo like the vulture, but the limited cargo of the vulture was always a huge quality of life issue for me.
Keep in mind that half the Vulture's length is taken up by those forked arms. A salvager laid out like a Prospector might make better use of the same space. Of course, that picture looks bigger than a Prospector.
Pretty much watched today entirely with hopes of seeing the galaxy and i really expected the ship building module to be shown off and put up for sale. Not even in the 12 month plan is crazy. Between that, squadron being 2026, and not being able to get on tonight, i am left disappointed.
Oh man, the liberator got bumped for the ironclad i guess. But perhaps we will get the odyssey since theyre doing the starlancer now? Dp i remember correctly them saying that these are just Some of the ships getting work done next year n not all? God i need my liberator -_-
@@Zombiesmoker I've been hearing rumors that the Galaxy has already gone into production/out of greybox (unlikely cause I can't verify) and might be a special surprise for IAE
it could be but i dont think so, because thn the landing gear would technically be backwards, i also think its way too close to the ground for a connie refit
It is likely the guardian. If you look at the one leaked render of it, there are just so many similarities. The little winglets on the front of the struts, the overall bulkiness/armoredness of the struts compared to the slenderness of the main body. Plus, if they were going to show a connie rework, they would show an angle that was much more recognizable because that would generate a lot of hype.
yea, agreed. the starlancer aren't going to offer much more than the old connie, it is more like a step up for freelancer player. (as if buying it as an upgrade to your already owned ship using real money) I mean, nobody's going to give up 4 size 5 cannons for just 120 something cargo space, besides, 2 turrets for TAC I can understand, but for MAX? that's weird, how many cargo players play solo? many. what's the odds in this game that a cargo ship can stand against a player fighter attack? zero. You don't need two big turrets for a cargo ship this size, if you see a player ship attacking you, the only thing you would do is run or self-destruct and log off.
@@Guardian_Templar The bay is perfect for Nursa, the cargo elevator is insanely practical. The windows and weapons are only the cherry on top. And dont forget the MISC design is the best, for us old gamers.
Ill be up front in this Starlancer BLD pissed me off ass last year they said the Galaxy would do the Large size base building so I got one, now its the Starlancer BLD which I'm not so sure about the looks I'm not a Misc fan big fat and round isn't me. the Galaxy looks a lot better I cant upgrade it as the Galaxy cost more. never mind it looks like the corsair is going to be a Starlancer BLD now LOL
I know the feeling, granted I got the Galaxy before it was announced to be a base builder - with the Corsair nerf i did melt it for the Starlancer MAX though
It can't be the pioneer because they said that the pioneer would be coming out after 1.0 that would mean we would get everything they talked about before the 2026
The Starlancer is a good ship but the commercial they made for it is so stupid. But I will still consider the ship for purchase. I want to see what will be available at IAE first though.
Drake don't have any ant capital torpedo shipd or a bomber. if you're a RP pirate and so want only a fleet of all drake ships for pirateing. think about the gaps like that you'd need filled. Ask yourself what if a big ship shows up to try to stop you. what do u hit back with? what if u want to raid a base? there is no Drake Retaliator. or Relly much non big ship torpedo ships like the Retaliator other than the Retaliator. maybe that's why you don't see any big guns on that drake ship. torpedoes and bombs come out form tubes or a bomb bay, food for thought
Yeah, I think the bigger issue is the much older ships that aren't even really acknowledge anymore. Putting the Kraken in then not having an update is pretty messed up
Tbh they said in the release of the ironclad concept they would be using it to gain experience and assets for the kraken so they are making their way to the kraken
yeah, with the Ironclad getting more love I may not keep the liberator, it looks more like a carrier and odds seem high that a lot of the small craft would fit inside

People will only hear what they want to hear
Just a point to note. You said these are the ships coming out in the next 12 months. That is not what John Crewe said, he said these were the ships they plan to be working on in the next 12 months.
I want clarification on the Galaxy, because it was supposed to be the large base builder. And they even said it in 2023 citizencon.
"These are some of the ships we'll be working on in the next 12 months, emphasis on SOME"
Nice video !!
They need to concentrate on the backlogs of ships/ship updates and bugs …still kool video 🫡
agreed and thank you
Yeah, but they won't. Old meme ships don't sell like new shiny hotness does.
The misc starlancer is a pretty large ship and it came out of nowhere. I could see them doing the same with the galaxy.
@@GreatWolfBalistic it is kind of weird they had the Starlancer cut in line while they’re focused on RSI
The MISC fortune looks to be about the size of the mole only shaped like a prospector you could see people standing in the rear for size
I'm really, REALLY hoping that's a Baler head on the Fortune. IDK why but it almost looks like a mining head. Possibly an Arbor. Concerning because we definitely need a more medium size salvager.
I couldn't really tell, so maybe it's another mining variant, thanks for sharing that insight as always!
Maybe it has one of each, or maybe you can swap it between a mining head or salvage head. Not sure how the backend would work in that case though.
@@matthewbrady5274 ooo, being able to swap from mining to Salvage would be very nice, almost a must have ship
defiantly a mining head. I hate the Mole with exposed mining stations....so dumb... So, a ship between the Prospector and the Mole would be very nice imo. And we really need it. Another salvager would be larger, as the Vulture is a intro salvage ship so I would expect the next salvage ship in our hands to be larger.
I’d love to swap mining and salvage heads, would take the Mole out for Salvaging
if it is the poineer and they said 12-18 months although the silde says 12. they also said that the poineer is not ready when base building will come out.
Basebuilding T0. Maybe with the CSV or Starlancer BLD or Galaxy.
showing the terrapin with a med bed has me really excited! What is everyones opinion on the Starlancer series? It seems like the Tac compares with a connie with med beds. I like the tac version but the max has a rear storage what an Nursa could fit in.
I think that's just the med bed for the Terrapin Medical variant, before they go into the Crusader starter
Pretty sure the tac still has that rear storage would make it a decent search and rescue ship
@TemplarGuardian I think the Tac has 2 med beds. It seems like it's an "assault" type deal. They all will still be smoked by a Connie if they don't nerf it, lol.
The tac has the rear 96scu storage/able to hold a Nursa still
@@tinoschultz8047 but the tac has 2 T3 medbeds so it would not be needed. Now the max has the rear 96 that a nursa could fit into and would be a great addition to the ship
10.48 someone powering on consoles in the background ha ha, i whipped around to see if the daughter was getting on her box
yeah, wife plays Xbox and basically refuses to play PC anymore
One of the upcoming ships looks like a catapillar variant with hangers.
they said that the guardian was going to be released before the end of the year so is that ship at 5:21 confirmed to be the guardian? why put it in the sneak preview for the next year if its dropping before 2025?
maybe they do have the Starlancer in there too but I guess that could just be for the Build variant
I am a fan of the terrapin. I dig the medical variant.
Easy to tell it's the pioneer because of those tall vertical stacke/antenna on the bridge
My orginal hope was just a new carrier ship but yeah, it's the Pioneer
MISC Fortune is liklye a 3 man salvaging ship. They need to add a mid-sized salvage ship comparable to the Mole for mining.
yeah, I'm all for it, however it pans out
the ironclad. it can fit inside of it doing a bit of maths i figured that out.... might be a bit of a tight fit but as long as you get the cargo one you should be fine
the terrapin has 150,000hp or more throw some ambulance lights on it and its a drop ship for recovering injured in battle, the guardian could be useful if its small but a heavy fighter and i can fit 4-6 in a polaris thats useful, id love to see a Pioneer variant that is also a strike carrier or a medium escort carrier, the way te pioneer looks it screams carrier lol
9:52 seems like those bits on the end of the wings look like the shields on the Carrack's wings
Upset that the Legionaire was pulled entirely....and no Liberator with Pyro?!?
I was so hoping for the Railen given how we got the Gatac Syulen out of the blue.
The prices are out already?
for all ships not, but a fair amount have been released to concept, some have not
When it comes to the Fortune, whether I get it (CCU to it from Vulture) will depend on its cargo.
That ship you identified as the Fortune looks like it has a mining head not a salvage one.
yeah, that appears to be the common guess, maybe a bigger prospector
@@Guardian_Templar That would be a shame IMHO. I would really love a salvager that sits in between the current vulture and reclaimer.
Crusader looks more and more Corellian with every new ship they make.
God i need my liberator -_-
I want that drake heavy fighter/starter ship. But i already have a caterpillar and just need a starter ship with internal space
as for the atlas platform they already said what its going to be. last year citizencon they said they are making a atlas ground construction platform.
What about the galaxy? They said its the next ship after the polaris!!!😢😢😢
In CIG terms that could be another two years 😂
Its changed, they will go for perseus after polaris instead
@@Zombiesmoker I've been hearing rumors that the Galaxy has already gone into production/out of greybox (unlikely cause I can't verify) and might be a special surprise for IAE
@@armada9562 something with modularity holding it back what Ive heard. But we'll see
Am I the only one that thinks the ship at 5:08 is not a fat fury/guardian which will come out in a month... I think that's a Constellation Refit/mk2
Hard to say, I'm a big fan of the connies so all for any updates they may get
it could be but i dont think so, because thn the landing gear would technically be backwards, i also think its way too close to the ground for a connie refit
@@AceofSpades9366 exactly
Im surpiaed they didnt say much about the galaxy. Or if they are working on it
yeah, I think atleast mentioning they're behind on the modules or something is needed
yea, agreed. the starlancer aren't going to offer much more than the old connie, it is more like a step up for freelancer player.
Keep in mind that AI crew and auto-turret blades are eventually going to be a thing for solo players.
@@randlebrowne2048 true, and we will need to buy LTI for them, if we can't develop romance with them, I will be disappointed
Windows and vehicle bay sold me on the Starlancer MAX. For a daily driver!
My initial thoughts was no way against my Taurus, but this may put a nail in that coffin
@@Guardian_Templar The bay is perfect for Nursa, the cargo elevator is insanely practical. The windows and weapons are only the cherry on top. And dont forget the MISC design is the best, for us old gamers.
@@tinejancar642 yup, going to do a Starlancer vid and it's just a nice looking ship
Functionality sold me on the Starlancer MAX but I still think the ship looks upside down. I hope it grows on me.
I really dont think that ship is the guardian 5:17 mainly because they already revealed it so why obscure it again.
They revealed the CSV too, so…..
maybe a fat fury variant but i think its moreso that it will come in the next 12 months (just before the year is over)
@@SpaceDad42 true but they also said it wasn't coming till later next year as but the guardian would be here before the end of the year
I think you have it other way around 8:38 is the appolo, because it has the head lights far apart. 9:50 is the crusader cuz it has that small cockpit
I own Drake Kraken Privateer and Javelin as well as BMM.
9:46 that is not the apollo its too small ...
I would far rather a Vulture mining variant than a Prospector salvaging variant
the argo basebuilder has 4 scu not 2
It can't be the pioneer because they said that the pioneer would be coming out after 1.0 that would mean we would get everything they talked about before the 2026
The Starlancer is a good ship but the commercial they made for it is so stupid. But I will still consider the ship for purchase. I want to see what will be available at IAE first though.
So no Galaxy?
not looking good, they did say some of the ships for the next 12 months, but unless we get an IAE update, I'm thinking that isn't happening
17:04 the cringe dial... does it go to 11?
It’s a little annoying that they acknowledged the remaining ships from last year and slipped them in to this list too
Yeah, I think the bigger issue is the much older ships that aren't even really acknowledge anymore. Putting the Kraken in then not having an update is pretty messed up
Tbh they said in the release of the ironclad concept they would be using it to gain experience and assets for the kraken so they are making their way to the kraken
@@the_steamtrain1642 Kraken in 2026 would be nice
100% the Apollo
no merchantman next year boys
i want my liberator :(
yeah, with the Ironclad getting more love I may not keep the liberator, it looks more like a carrier and odds seem high that a lot of the small craft would fit inside
12 - 18 months they say
"12-18 months" not within 12
I am sad they dont give even any info on Banu merch.İts 13 years and still no future for this ship, ffs.
didnt see the rsi galaxy in the 12 months plan....sad face
I think everyone missed the fact that Crewe said these are the ships that they are working on over the next 12 months, NOT that they are coming out in next 12 months
Iron clad for sure. Also the only ship I care about. But I'm so done with these people.
Buy? Freudian slip?
Must of been mind controlled by Chris's greedy wife for a moment. aka the head of CIG marketing. Fixed the typo
jep more ships LOL and yet 1 system in 10 years what a JOKE!
