have you considered now filling the head cavity with expanding foam to help hold the weight of the plaster as you move it around and work on it? It also stops any spiders or bugs setting up home in your head.
You actually want me to kick the spiders out of my head?!!? Where will all my ideas come from?? I did add some expanding foam later, and I added a thick PVC pipe. I can set the head on a C-Stand, and work on stuff that hangs off my head and shoulders.

I have such a large(oddly shaped) head that any hats I find in stores do not fit me at all(even XL), so I have to get them online:( So I might plan of doing this to so I can make my own hats(and mask of course:).
the plaster gips version is cheaper but some say ist not safe enough? i dont know but i made it with gips moulds. than gips. hm in the video this first material is expensive? dont know. i bougt for the version i made cheap online but not too cheap. i made a head cast and a face cast.
Wait Silicone doesn't set when its in contact with Latex? Damn you just explained why i had so much issues with silicone in latex molds! I need to find a different material to cast silicone in.

I didn't know either! Alan told me. I know that sulfur will stop curing, so you have to be carful which clay you use too.
