Great tutorial! New subscriber!! I like the way it is filmed and the calm music too. Enjoyed learning how you altered it and made the neck facing. So much better like that.
I just finished today the Athina top for my sister's mother-in-law for her birthday. I made it from double gauze, so for me this and also your double gauze video was very helpful. When I first sew this material I totally over stretch and iron it, now I was much more delicate. So thank you again for your super useful and great videos and tutorials. Your videos gives me a big help to be a better sewist.
I have an Athina muslin hanging in my closet but too wide/long. Your tutorial was just what I needed. Thank you so much for your excellent instructions on adjusting the neck opening, adding neck facings, side seam openings and pocket! I learned so much!
Just subscribed. Love your Athena and made several for my sister! The pocket is very cute and really like the neck facing. We will all get through this pandemic. Stay safe and keep sewing. You bring us so much joy.
I love the color of the dress, but I find it hard for me to think to the dress is pretty. I do find it very interesting and wonder how hard it was to draw the pattern.
Thank you for watching my video! 😊 The skirt I'm wearing is called Gypsum Skirt pattern from Sew Liberated and I already have a tutorial video! So please search for Gypsum on my channel!
Just found your channel, new subscriber!! I really enjoy the way you do your tutorials, very comprehensive and easy to follow. I, too, like the facing application instead of bias. Thank you so much! During the intro you asked about what we may be interested in seeing you make. Well, I have the Lois from Tessuti and I would really appreciate a sew a long for it. Thank you for considering.
Sewing Therapy thank you! I can’t wait to make one for myself! I just made a night dress for my three year old after watching some of your videos. My first ever project aside from masks.
Hello! Your sew-alongs are my favorite. Thank you for all you do. Apologies if I missed it, but where can I learn more about the neckline adjustments you mentioned that folks are making to this pattern?
@@SewingTherapy Yes! At about 1:42 you say you modified the neckline based on other sewists' reviews. I guess I'm just not sure if there is more info about this somewhere. Thank you again!
Just found your channel and I subscribed. I made an muslin for this pattern. Sleeves too narrow and body too wide. I’ll enjoy watching this so I can modify to make a wearable top.
If you are looking for a top which looks like this one with better width of sleeves and bodice, please check out my latest video! I made Harper Tunic and it's a good one!
Thanks for watching! I replace the stitches with serging in some case of sewing knit/stretch fabrics. But normally I do both. Serging creates durable and professionally finished edges, but for stitching I feel the normal machine's is more secure.
I love your video. Very interesting and easy to understand also. But I've tried downloading the pattern but was unable to do so. Don't know where I went wrong.
Thanks for watching my video! Have you tried the link www.tessuti-shop.com/collections/free-sewing-patterns/products/athina-top-pattern ? You need to add the free pattern to the cart and checkout!
Just found your channel and love them! I just started learning to sew, my dream is to make my own modern hanbok, I hope you make tutorials on how to make them! Especially the jeogori ☺️🥰
Thank you for this great tutorial! I have made both size S and M...both were huge on me, normally I wear a US6 or US 8. I will reducing the side seams. What size did you make?
Great video. Question please, I noticed that you first sewed your seams then used your serger to finish the seam edges, can I just use my 4-thread serger to make all of my seams? Thanks so much…
I just love ur sewing machine and d way u sew too! Pls don't u have videos in which u have they cloths measured before sewing instead of only patterns sew tutorials!

I'm glad you like my tutorial video! Thank you!
this is the best sewing channel hands down! not to mention how lovely she is
Awww thanks so much! ☺

Sounds great! ❤ I'm glad to hear my videos helped your make! 😄
I love how you take your own approach to the patterns! Definitely drafting a facing due my next athina neck line :). Thanks!
Thank you!
Sweet top and an easy sew. And the "epilogue" is hilarious. Those are the best parts of RUclips videos! :-)
Hahaha I'm glad you enjoyed it!😆😆
Thank you for your easy to follow videos 🌻
Love this blouse! Just found you and had to subscribe! Excellent teacher!👏👏👍😊

So happy to hear you've learned something from my video! 😊💕💕
Nice video! Liked how you folded in the excess before turning the pocket inside out. It makes very neat corners.
Thank you!❤ I love that method!
Thank you for the Athina tutorial! I made size medium and it
Hooray I have this pattern downloaded. I love the linen fabric you used and the pocket really gives it personality.
Yay!🙌 Please share your version with me!

Always amazing tutorial! Keep up the good work! 😀

I absolutely love your format of video and your style. I can’t wait to follow along with your garment making journeys! Thank you
Thank you!! 😊 😆👌
I love the color of the dress, but I find it hard for me to think to the dress is pretty. I do find it very interesting and wonder how hard it was to draw the pattern.
Another great video! I might have to make one for myself!
Yay! Please share your make with me! Can't wait!

Hi, great tutorials! I think we have the same sewing machine and overlockers.
Thank you! Haha 🙌 They are great machines aren't they?
Great tutorial! Just a quick question - do you have a tutorial for that skirt to? Love all your videos
Thank you! I have a tutorial video how to make the skirt I'm wearing. Please search for Gypsum Skirt!

Beautiful video!
Thank you Johanna!💗🙏
Great tute, how did you construct the pocket, love the look.
You mean the pocket from the skirt?
Love your tutorials. Could you do a tutorial on the Persephone Pants from Anna Allen Clothing?
Thanks for watching! I will consider it! 😊
Thank you for your great tutorial. Why do you sew first and than serge the seams? Wouldn't just serging the seems be enough?
Thanks for watching! I replace the stitches with serging in some case of sewing knit/stretch fabrics. But normally I do both. Serging creates durable and professionally finished edges, but for stitching I feel the normal machine's is more secure.
@@SewingTherapy thank you. I used your method and love it. At first i bought the serger to be faster. But quality before quantity is much better.
@@PetraKaiserGlassArt I'm glad you tried it and loved it! I totally agree with you that the quality matters! 😊
I love the Athina top! Thank you! What top are you wearing in the video with the bias bound neck in that stripe? Very cute!
Thank you! 💕
I love Athina Top too! What I wore in video is my self-drafted linen short dress! :)
Fabulous thank you for sharing.
I love your video. Very interesting and easy to understand also. But I've tried downloading the pattern but was unable to do so. Don't know where I went wrong.

What a coincidence! My very next project is all about Hanbok! Stay tuned! 😊
Awesome tutorial. Could you make a tutorial for the Japanese apron button-up side. There is no tutorial for this apron yet. Thanks a lot!!!
Thanks for watching! I will consider it! 😊
Thank you for this great tutorial! I have made both size S and M...both were huge on me, normally I wear a US6 or US 8. I will reducing the side seams. What size did you make?
I believe I made a aize S! I had no issue on that! Athina is an oversized fit top but it can’t be huge! Check if you printed the pattern right.☺️
You two are funny! Great tutorial...I also like facings better
Hehe! Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed my video! 😆
Thank you for this video, you are sewing so beautiful😊 🙏👏.
May I ask, what sewing machines are you using?
Thank you! 🤍 In this video, I used my singer 9960. ☺️
Supper cute!!❤️
I love making comfy clothes! :) Thank you!
Great video. Question please, I noticed that you first sewed your seams then used your serger to finish the seam edges, can I just use my 4-thread serger to make all of my seams? Thanks so much…
I just feel that serging only is not secure enough. It's just my preference! Some sewists sew with only serger!
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts…
I like this top! Do you carry bigger sizes!.? I have a big chest, but narrow hips. I always struggle with shirts not being big enough for my chest.
It's not my pattern though! 😅 If you search for how to grade the pattern between sizes, you will be able to get an idea!
Love it!
I’d live so much if you wanted to make a Homer and Howells Ingrid Dress 😍
What a coincidence! I found that pattern a few days ago and added it on my video list! 😁
I just love ur sewing machine and d way u sew too!
Pls don't u have videos in which u have they cloths measured before sewing instead of only patterns sew tutorials!
Would like to learn pants sewing technique
I have some pants tutorial as well. Please check them out on my channel.
Slim cigarette style pull on modern pants.
