I loved the innocent Ed that used to work at the GCPD but I love the Riddler even more. First of all, he's confident as the Riddler and confidence suits him so well. Second, well everyone used to treat him like garbage before, so I like that he makes people respect him now even if it's the hard way, because he didn't deserve all the bullshit he got. And then of course he's got such a great charisma as the Riddler, he's that villain you just can't hate.
I always thought of them as kind of two sides of the same brain rather than two entities until the scene in s4 where Oswald literally sends a letter that one entity understands, calculates an entire plan and brings the other to Arkham so he can be set free. Like they're even different in terms of who they like and hate (Lee) and when Lee talks to Ed in the riddle factory, she literally refers to the Riddler as a separate person and refers to Ed (who is suppressed) in third person.
I know what you mean, I noticed the split personality in 1x22 and then quite a bit in the first 6 episodes of season 2 and can't think of any of it in S3 except maybe 3x15 when he was hallucinating Os. And then of course S4 and I can only imagine what they might do in S5 after he is brought back to life. yikes! lol XD
OH?? MY GOD??? I had seventeen heart attacks watching this, I love it so much. I've been looking for a really good Ed-centric vid that highlights his fun and sadistic side, and I love that this one does and is also dark and creepy and perplexing and really captures the tension within the character. Thank you for this!!!

So I just finished season 3 episode 15 and can I say I love Nygmobblepot but I would love to see some Nygma and Foxy videos now too. Cory does such an amazing job as the Riddler. In fact, a lot of Gothams cast has done incredible, Jerome, Riddler and Penguin being the best. This video does a fantastic job of capturing Edward.

Okay, I was already enjoying this, but the part at 1:31 just made my heart swell in size, and as much as I like to pretend, those two really own me.. no matter how much the writers like to tease and then tear them away from us 🤧
Spellbound ngl I lost hope for a few solid months after they pulled the whole Nygmakins spiel, but now I'm just praying that was just for character growth 😂

As a fan of yours for a while now (and someone aspiring to get better at editing) I was really curious as to where you get these lovely 1080p quality clips from? I've been editing for a couple years now, and though I've a found a few decent websites to download movies/eps from, they're never of such high quality as I often see with yours (or other Gotham content creators). Sorry this has gotten so long winded lol, but I was just really curious to where you download your eps from, as I've had all my attempts at finding such high resolution eps basically come up short handed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated 😊

Honestly I never good at pointing whether he was Ed or The Riddler. Sometimes it's obvious, but sometimes it's blur. The one who was angry after Isabella died, was that Ed or The Riddler? The whole season 5? Especially when he was being controled? If the whole season 5 was The Riddler does that mean Ed was practically dead?
This actually makes me so sad that he’s dealing with untreated mental issues and he’s doing nothing about it. You’d think Arkham asylum would properly diagnose him and try to fix his situation but nooOOOoooo.
I love the duality of the character, but I don’t think he’s a different person, rather a visualization of his repressed desires, hatred, and obsessions. Having him be “crazy” is a cop out - yes he’s insane but I think the split was caused by repression - and when his psyche is dulled in s4, this causes “The Riddler” - a reminder of who he was to manifest again. It’s just so much more interesting that way. Corey is incredible, and he’s by far my favourite character in the show - I’m yet to watch s5, but I hope it treats him well, because I didn’t really enjoy 4b that much
