    "Fat guy fall down" was not Chris's talent. His talent was his personality and demeanor in awkward situations. It was... a masterpiece of comedy and we may never see this again. When Farley got down on himself he'd say to his friends "they just want to see a fat guy fall" and that assessment was wrong. Chris, buddy, you were funny because you were you, not because you were fat.
    RIP. The best ever in my young lifetime.

      That's right. I hate he thought that.Just like the chip n dale snl skit he didn't like it cause of his weight but it is hilarious cause he is out dancing Swazye. He seemed like a genuinely nice guy.

      josh slusser ......That was Chris's own assessment of his big laugh draw...."fatty fall down go boom" ...He was hard on himself, that's true, but he knew he was a big talent. But the truth is at its core, stripped down, the gag always involved fatty fall down go boom.. I once saw Jackie Gleason talking about what he thought it was that made him so funny to people.....(and I compare the two, Gleason was a genius)......and Jackie Gleason's answer was He was a "fat man that moved like a skinny man. Ya see, obviously there is genius to Gleason, a comedic genius, but he knew at its basic level that fatty fall down go boom is the punch line that they build all joke around

      @@PabloDiablo682 Actually I believe the director of Tommy Boy told him that. He said he refused a couple of scripts Farley showed him because he believed he had potential for more. The truth is you can do anything you want in this life if you believe in yourself but Chris struggled to believe he could be more than Fatty falls down. He wanted to do more serious stuff but he was always fighting against himself. It's so sad :((

    Mancow such a tool. “Cable Guy” one of the funniest movies ever. Farley the original voice of Shrek. That’s what we really missed out on. Shows his limits of humor. Farley even hated “BHs Ninja” but bozo going on and on about it. Lol. Biggest Kiss A## of Chris ever.

    This is wonderful. And so sad at the same time. Usually I don't get really really sad when celebrities die. Even though I love their work, I don't know them personally so usually it's just like oh man that's really sad that sucks. I don't know what it is about Chris Farley but it breaks my heart still. Maybe because when he died I was still really young and I was obsessed with him and that 9-year-old in me still has that feeling. Robin Williams was really sad too. But I don't think anything will touch Farley for me

      He's not sober, he's wiping his nose every minute, and I'd say he'd been sniffing coke n heroin for a couple days straight without sleep, that's what killed him, mixing the heroin so he wouldn't be wired and unable to perform, but the sweat is a dead giveaway, in a cold studio where the two hosts are dressed very warm he's got shorts on and dripping sweat... he's definitely high af

    • @christofferjenzen78
      @christofferjenzen78 5 лет назад +7

      He is dead sober in his first Letterman interview and at Leno in 94 and 95,i think. Lets not forget,he was winning the battle and was clean for three straight years. An early screening of Black sheep changed that and his life forever....

    • @christofferjenzen78
      @christofferjenzen78 5 лет назад +3

      @@paul-egz4264 I dont agree with much you said. We have seen this guy really high and here he seems to be somewhat reserved and awkward, not manic and unhinged. He might have still had shit in his system but he used heroine to come down and when he was finished,he didnt shoot h before a show. He was relapsing and rehabing constantly before he died,,so its not always easy to know.Maybe a bump or two but for him,at this point... that was more or less sober.

If ya grew up in the 90s, he left an impression on you. I so wish we someone could have helped him. He’s one of those that I remember exactly where I was when the news broke of his death.
