    Bro.
This is one solid list of tips that you’ve made. After 10 years of exploring macOS - more than half of the things I had no idea about.
The very first tip with accelerating dragging of files is thumbs up worthy right there.
    Keep them coming!

0:28 you can also press spacebar or force click, to open it instantly
1:19 you can also use pinch on trackpad to adjust the size
2:40 Also, you can click cmd+T to trim the clips to only choose portion of each clip.
5:11 same works with other desktop gestures too. I have "show desktop" set to my right shift, so I can press and hold it to quickly glance a desktop or grab a file, and release it to bring back the windows.
5:24 Easy way to quickly change the path of the "where: " folder without opening its navigator view is to just drag and drop a folder into it. If you have "Snapshots" folder on your desktop, just drag it on top of the selection box, and the "Applications" changes to "Snapshots".
6:01 no need for vlc, you can save the snapshot by opening "Preview" app and hit cmd+N (File -> New from clipboard). Same works with other stuff too. For example, you can copy an icon from the Get Info view, then quickly open preview from spotlight, hit cmd+N and boom, you have a high res picture of the icon.
6:29 Also, with cmd+up/down you can instantly go to top or bottom of a page
6:43 Lots of keyboard shortcuts for modifying fonts, but instead of learning by heart, you can find them by right clicking text, going to the "fonts" submenu. There you can do bunch of stuff, fron colour to font to copying styles etc.
7:13 same works with corners, to extend a window, let's say, both right and down. Pressing option also mirrors it -->
Making a window fill the whole desktop: press option while double clicking a corner.
8:25 no need to even force click. On MacOS text is draggable, and droppable to any text field. Without force touch, you just have to click and hold it, and then drag it. You can also drag & drop also to desktop. Dragging a link to Notes makes it automatically a clickable link with a name, like "Bog - RUclips"
    Tip:
Open Bog's yt channel -> select the link from the address field -> drag it to desktop -> add icon (get info, cmd+v picture into the icon field) -> drag your new fancy link to dock. Now you have a quick link to Bog's channel right on your dock.
9:08 for desktop user without apple's keyboard/trackpad, another way to show this view is to cmd+tab and then press up/down arrow.

Here's a HUGE one for me who never uses a mouse with my mac:
If you go to Settings -> Accessibility -> Pointer Control -> Trackpad options..., you'll find a setting called dragging style. Switch this to three-finger drag. This lets you move anything by using 3 fingers, instead of having to double click to drag, or doing finger acrobatics to imitate using two hands. The 3-finger swipe gestures like switching desktops and mission control will use 4 fingers instead, which is not really an issue once you're used to it (in fact, 4 fingers should work for this already without switching any settings!)

The biggest downside of macOS is the software available for it especially business and enterprise software, where some programs are inferior and others don't exist altogether. It's a great platform for creative and media professionals but falls short for many other type of professionals. And I don't care about gaming but that's another area where macOS is far behind.

Small clarification: Fn key on most Apple portables has always turned the arrow keys into PgUp/PgDn/Home/End navigation keys. Useful for scrolling only because they are literally PgUp/PgDn keys. They just don’t label the keys that way anymore.

Why did I watch an entire video on MacOS when I don't even have any kind of Mac? No idea, but if I ever buy one, I'll be armed with some cool trivia!

There is something very annoying about safari. In Chrome, if I do a two-finger swap left, it goes back to the previous tab very quickly with no reload. But in Safari every time if I do two finger swap left the previous tab is reloaded and it takes a lot of time 😩.
    Anyone have this problem?

@@marn200 I think it used to be turned on by default before but then Apple decided to turn it off in one of the MacOS updates.
