Cheers mate. I forgot to replied to your other comment about the gopros. I used hero 7 black, hero 8 black. My main chest mount camera is hero 9 black.
Glad you enjoyed the vid. As always tight lines!!

A great video Sonnie. You do an excellent job with your filming and your commentary. You’ve got me thinking about all the places between the ramp and the Pin that I just drive past.

Thanks mate. I tried my best. May I ask your opinion. Do you prefer the first person chest mount version or this 3rd person perspective? Maybe a mix?

I just re read your comment. I’d definitely go back to the spot I found in this vid. There’s so so much snags to throw a lure at in these systems you’d be lost for choice!

A very nice Tailor & an excellent Flathead. In regard to your cameras, I would probably use the fixed camera to show general views & landing the fish & the chest mount for hookups & releases. A mix. I noticed the absence of chicken bait. You appear to have made the transition from bait to lures. I am still using a mix. I catch most fish on chicken. I had a bingle on rocks with my kayak in August 2020 & I became aware of hairline cracks when it started to sink 2 weeks ago. Quite a bit of water in it that failed to empty out at home in the garage on its trailer. Ran a heat gun over it yesterday & repaired everything I could find. Need to wheel it out into the daylight to see better. But the rain is pouring down. No plans to launch for another 2 weeks. Thanks for sharing.

Hey mate, thank you for being so active on my channel. I find many of your comments I am unable to view it for some reason so couldn’t reply. Seems like it gets hidden by youtube for some guideline problems. Happened a few times now

Retrieving ya boat from that ramp on your own can be nasty mate. Been there done that. Winds and incorrect tide reading and you are stuffed. Great spot to launch from though. Nice sandy beach area right there. Direct access to the pin and all of the southern Moreton bay islands. Beats Jacobs Well boat ramp hands down.

I 100% agree. Cabbage tree ramp needs a reno badly. When wind picks up and you’re on your own its almost impossible. If weather looks nasty I prefer to go to Jacobs... easier

    Hey mate,
Just wondering what pound Minn Kota you have on your boat and roughly how long your batteries last using the electric in waters like in this video?
Thanks and keep up the great content!

Hi mate, thank you, glad you enjoyed my efforts :)
My minn kota is a 55lb. My battery I believe is 110 or 130ah. It lasted me two full days and maybe more. The battery in this vid wasn’t charged from the previous full day trip out at jumpinpin. I have never allowed it to run flat so guessing 2-3days. A full days use will drop the battery meter on the minn kota down by 1/4.
Edited.... oops thought you commented on my latest vid.. this trip(jumpinpin) on full battery.... finished with 3/4 left :)

I reckon whatever’s easiest for you. You’ve got to coordinate fishing, netting and thinking about where your camera is directed. Then spend time editing it all into a good production. So whatever works best for you. We appreciate your efforts.

Thanks mate. I am definitely getting better and quicker with the editing. Thanks for being straight forward about my technique. I watch other people do it nightly on youtube and pick up few tricks here and there. I believe it also comes down to the style of plastics you’re throwing. I remember watching my all time favourite Mark Berg use slam shads where he literally pull the dentures out of the breams. I’m still learning so sticking to grubs where it doesn’t require too much action from me. I have started using slim swims too now....I’ll be in Sydney this winter for Threadbo :)
