Reborn was a killer album.I cant believe he didn't really say much about it.What I loved about it the most is it did have a new sound but yet it still sounded like stryper to me.
about the "attempt to be modern" I was thinking about stryper being "modern"...and the first thing that came to my mind.....was the album "truth" by micheal sweet, it had the balance between...hard guitars, solos and other stuff so at the same time sounded modern... I wounder what would happened if oz, rob and tim were in " truth"? Murder by pride (to me) is great album I really like the songs, but I would like to hear another attempt to be modern...(of course in the terms I just "said")
@IronJudasCrue41 Indeed! Guitar sound, solos and feel nowhere else found. Amazing. Just crank it up and let the treble pierce your ears. Some day I just gotta have that sound myself.
Sorry M...But Against the Law is one of the Best Musically sounding and recordings you guy's have done. The vocals on that were just outstanding. The right amount of balance between pitch and tone on your voice. For me it could not get any better. Guitar Sound Just Money. Maybe you guys were in a place you did not want to be at emotionally but I would not attached that to this Perfectly done CD :) Just my opinion ;)
What? Seriously Against the law is not a favorite album for him? In my opinion as a fan of Stryper in my entire life, Against the law is the best Stryper album in performance, music and band's looking (better individual appearance) even the best Michael Sweet's voice performance! In my opinion only Murder by pride album is in the same superb level as Against the law! Against the law is a superb album! Why don't they go back to having the same appearance that they all had in the Against the law era!

shining star redeems against the law somewhat. I saw the show where Halford sang Breaking the law with them. Meh. not so impressive.
