    The price of some of the options are ridiculous. £1600 for a 40inch TV, £1700 for a tow bar & £1500 for a coffee machine.

    • @bluecarefreeforever
      @bluecarefreeforever 2 года назад

      🤣👍🏼 yes I clocked that as well - I suppose anyone with that sort of money buying, simply pays those extras because it’s fitted and set-up with factory technicians and no hassle. You can leave out all the toys and then have to have the right MH technicians to connect everything. Similar additional costs for Solar panels and additional lithium batteries etc.

      That's rather typical of these high-end German 'vans, I'm afraid. At least the TV includes the powered bracket to raise it!

    • @wobby1516

      If you can afford this machine, you really don’t car about pricing of the extras.

      @@wobby1516 Indeed. why would you spend time trying to replace after market parts when it’s fitted by the professionals and working order.

      Look well put together but the front end looks horrible compared to the niesmann bischoff.
      Interior looks dated as well compared to other competitors.

    A metre high garage, but only 1.2 metres wide. The motorhome is 2.2 metres wide, how thick are those doors?

    • @peterv3642
      @peterv3642 2 года назад

      Sorry if that was confusing. 1.2m wide refers to width of the garage as you look at it from the side of the 'van. Length of the garage is, of course, around 2.2m (full width of the vehicle)

    Great review. But I think many of the options should be standard at that level. I mean paying for alloy wheels 🤷I'd like to see auto leveling and air suspension and a dishwasher as options. Just my 2 cents. But thanks again 👍

    • @MotorhomeCampervan
      @MotorhomeCampervan  3 месяца назад +1

      Thanks for your comments. I'm afraid the long list of extras is the German way of doing things, so you spec what you want and not what you don't want.
      If you want a really, really comprehensive spec, look out for our review of the Coachman Imperial that's coming very soon.
      Few European 'vans have a dishwasher but this one does - ruclips.net/video/6Qs6r_caNHE/видео.html

    who needs a house? 😉 i wasn't clear whether they will be offering this with a drop down bed at the other end? for this size and this amount of money whilst this is a luxury two birth it almost seems crazy not to have that option. plus i would want an electric option for the head rest in the bed to angle rather than fumbling around for a strap ... i mean, if we are going to luxury lets not stop just that little bit short. 😉

      These premium German brands know how to charge but the price of the telly does include the electric rising bracket, which is rather neat.
      Compare it with what premium car makers will charge for special paint and it's a bargain!

    • @MotorhomeCampervan

    • @edoschatz
      @edoschatz 2 года назад

      @@MotorhomeCampervan No, I could not because there is no air suspension for Sprinter and there are two different vendors for Ducato, so I really do not see the advantage of driving a Mercedes based camper, when one has to enjoy the suspension made for cargo. And it is always Mercedes as a base vehicle being described as a better choice and for what? Because it has a touch screen that js not a first choice by many.
