- Hayward Wisconsin is a great little town with plenty to do, from miniature golf to shopping for sweets and hot sauce as well as the Lumberjack competition (which we missed).
If you are sensitive to sweets you may want to look away as we saw more candy in Hayward than anywhere else we've ever been. But if you're looking for a unique hot sauce they have you covered as well. Especially for that girl in your life that loves some Carolina Reaper pepper.

I wasn't expecting a lot in Wisconsin, but we really enjoyed it up there. And we would love to go back someday and visit stuff we missed, like the Lumberjack competition.

I've been to 3 different Kwik Trips with a K in Wisconsin. I feel that QuikTrip with a Q had better products and better customer service. Thank you for watching out video.

Such a cool town with a great vibe. Anytime people ask where to go for the summer to get away from the heat I always recommend this area.
I threw a chipmunk a peanut and it nibbled on it for 5 minutes. Later, I saw another chipmunk flattened on the road. I hope it wasn't the same one, or the car made peanut butter.

I don't think so, the body was too long to be a ground squirrel. They have wild ferrets in Wisconsin as well as weasels.
@@rvfamilylife Clearly not a mink, weasel or a ferret not even close. A ferret would never survive in the wild here in Hayward. I live here, hunted and fished all my life never ever seen a ferret. Whoever told you there were ferrets here was pulling your leg.

Interesting. Never seen wild ferrets before. For some reason I really never thought of them as being wild 🤷🏻♀That store is way too busy. I wouldn't even stay. Whoa! That's a lot for candy. I cringe when I spend more than $20 LOL. Don't like licorice. We never got the opportunity to try any ice cream while in Wisconsin. We also didn't get to try a real butter burger. There's some places there that will smother the burgers in butter, but we weren't near any of the ones I knew about. I won't say you need to see a doctor. You obviously already know that you probably shouldn't eat them. I hope I never have issues with sweets. I love my sweet treats! I can do without ice cream. It's never been a fave of mine. Many of them make me sick. Something in the ingredients in some. Generally, it's cheap brands that get me. Never had lutefisk. I'd probably try it, but not sure it would be something I'd like. Cool falls.
Since I filmed this last summer, I have learned a lot about glucose intolerance and how it can make you sleepy. I've been working on getting myself back to normal. I still avoid straight sugar, but I've been able to eat pasta's and breads since I've worked on this and they no longer make me sleepy.
My uncle pointed out that I typed Ludefisk, but we said pickled herring, and I was like, WHOOPS. ANd I can't take that Ludefisk word out of the video now. Oh well.
