Vodafone Foundation teams take on the World’s Toughest Row Atlantic

In December 2023, two teams of Vodafone employees set off to row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic as part of the World’s Toughest Row Atlantic.
Battling 20ft waves, sleep deprivation, salt sores and the elements, the WaveBreakers (Bobbie Mellor, Katherine Antrobus and Hatty Carder) broke a World Record, becoming the fastest female team to row across the Atlantic, and BlueTusk (Aaron Kneebone, Chris Wood and David Tiplady) won first in their category.
Together, they fundraised over £400,000 for Vodafone Foundation’s Your Planet campaign, helping to protect the planet.
