This was my first attempt at making one of these iceberg videos. Looking back, I don't think this video is bad, but it's not great either. The chart was garbage and I also got some entry information wrong. I'll leave the video up since a lot of you really like it. But I would 100% redo this video. It's just not my favorite. Things I got wrong: -Ricky Flame is NOT a Gordon Ramsey parody. He is a parody of Bobby Flay. -I somehow got creddie and seddie mixed up. Please ignore that little mistake. -Fredward is referring to Freddies full name, not just the vampire skit -I mispronounced Baggles
I learned from Quinton Reviews that the Wade Collins joke isn't as harmless as it seems. The other finalist in the show is David Archuleta. Archuleta was actually a real finalist in American Idol. He was beaten by David Cook. David Cook had a brother who was battling cancer throughout the American Idol show and even died of it some time later. Knowing this the episode seems to attack a real person who's relative actually suffered. As a non-American I was very shocked to learn this so many years after watching the show.
You're right, but Quinton sucks dude, I like his nickelodeon shows vids, and I'm looking forward to the Sam & Cat vid, but Quinton is easily angered by nonesense in the shows I feel
I always appreciated some of the absurdist comedy they’d throw into iCarly. The random fire gags, t-bo pulling out the tacos on a stick, the ostrich-smoothie gag; genuinely funny stuff that’d hit you out of nowhere. Also “Pee on Carl” is still funny to me as a grown adult.
Also the “Is Sam Jewish?” Thing refers to the fact that she has a Star of David in her locker and in earlier seasons is mentioned to be Jewish multiple times and then in later seasons ( I think starting with “I think they Kissed”) is mentioned to not be Jewish or faking it
she does say she's jewish in episodes and has the star of david, but in one episode she losses her laptop which she got from her grandma by lying about being jewish and in the one with her mom she says they're not jewish
I have my own fan theory on the show. I think the whole thing is an elaborate fanfic written by Carly. I think in reality she is a normal teenager with a boring life. Spencer really is a dull lawyer hinted at several times in the show, so of course she makes him the wackiest opposite possible. Her dad really is in the military but he isn’t mysteriously overseas. He’s in her life. He’s not abusive but as a military man, he expects his household to run very efficiently. That’s why in her fanfic everything is random and chaotic. Sam is really her friend, but is normal. Carly agreed to spice up her background if she agreed to be the sidekick. Her mom really isn’t in the picture, either dead or a messy divorce. Talking about her is painful so that’s why the show is notoriously quiet on her. Freddie is a random nerd she really knows. Of course since Carly is the main focus, Freddie is only included to make the tech stuff make sense and he has to have a crush on her. This whole thing being a teenage girl’s fantasy would explain why they can afford a 3 story apartment in the middle of Seattle. Spencer is rarely shown making any big sales and I don’t care how high up her dad is in the military, he isn’t making enough to support himself plus everything for Spencer and Carly. It would also explain why iCarly the webshow became so popular so quick. A teenager isn’t going to consider the years of grind it would probably take to grow big.

Actually No, didn't they had to wear disguises was due to Carly's boyfriend or date was there, and they had to be incognito to see if was cheating or something..i.cant remember, so that explains the disguises..also.they were known in public,.there is alot of characters that were obsessed wit the iCarly crew and they were stocked alot,etc..
The icarly "cum fríes" refers to an episode called "IFind Spencer Friends". Where at the fast food place, Spencer makes a job to the waiter while ordering fries. The waiter didn't like that and so he "does something" to the fries. The manager of the places say something like this. "Why were you in the back alley with a customers fries?". He serves the fries and the people who eat it throw up. Aka cum fries
I respect both Gibby and Sam’s actors decisions to not come back, especially Jennette, but for just one last episode it’d be great to see the whole gang back together. Probably not gonna happen though. Also would’ve liked to see a Drake and Josh reunion but that ship has sailed now. Weird looking back at your childhood after 10 years… it’s bittersweet tbh, I kinda miss it.
Sam actually has all of Fall Out Boy in her locker, not just Pete! The pictures are torn from the booklet of FOB's Infinity On High cd. What is really cool though and I don't think too many people has noticed this but to go further into Sam being a Fall Out Boy fan in the show, in the iGive Away A Car episode when they find out the car dealership was not actually giving away a car, Sam is wearing a shirt from Pete Wentz's clothing brand Clandestine Industries!!! Def not a detail a lot of people have noticed but as a big FOB superfan I was totally stoked to see it :)

But the fact that every moment a homeless person is shown they're always depicted as the bud of the joke/horrible people. It kinda comes across as "homeless person = quirky and funny". Or at worst "homeless = irredeemable bad people".
12:06 the stunt double actually fell so far that bounce in that scene is real, someone should not bounce on concrete, the stunt double broke I think 5 ribs, and then the writers later wrote in a joke about about that stunt double breaking his ribs
i believe the 'collonel shay is hiding something' was a reference to Quinton reviews' long icarly review; when he covered the final episode, he thought of a small theory that Carly's dad might have a secret family which he was hiding from Carly and Spencer. Quinton admitted however that there wasnt too much proof of this.
- The resentment she holds towards Dan Schneider has actually more to do with her eating disorder, which she suffered from during the latter part of the show's run. According to her Dan was aware of her eating disorder and abused her by having Sam eat copious amounts of food in certain scenes, which according to McCurdy only worsened her condition. - "iParty With Victorious'" in recent times has come under scrutiny thanks to Quinton Reviews due to the episode featuring multiple inappropriate jokes involving underage characters, Kenan Thompson being written as a creep preying on high school girls, and most infamously the iCarly characters being very out-of-character, most notably Spencer being enamored by Tori despite Spencer being much older than her.
Random Dancing certainly did not debut in iReunite with Missy. It debuted in their very first webcast in iPilot. The only time Carly uses the blue remote to trigger random dancing is in iReunite with Missy.

A Brit here, a "hob-knocker" I believe is a made-up insult by the writers to make it sound vaguely British, but the actual insult is something to a similar effect to knob-jockey, which (depending on the context) can be a useless person (often a man) or is an insult towards a man (a gay man).
i just learned that the dance sequences were called "random dancing" in english and not "sick dancebreak" (kranker Pausentanz) like they called it in the german version lmao
Despite your lisp, you still proceeded to make videos. This is the first video of yours I see so I don't know if this is a one time occurrence, but it's kind of admirable. Not to mention the video is very well put together and enjoyable. Good stuff
I have a giant overbite which kinda makes it difficult to pronounce words. On top of that my jaw broke in multiple places about half a year ago so I tend to feel a bit of discomfort whenever I try to speak. The lisp is something I unfortunately just have to deal with until I can afford to correct my overbite and take up some speech therapy classes. Some days my speech is decent, but other days it's just bad. People have made fun of my speech for my entire life. Recently with the success of this particular video I've been getting a lot more comments from people making fun of my voice, my speech issues, and claiming that my voice just ruins the entire video. But I think you're the first person who has ever called it admirable and I thank you for that. Video making has been a passion of mine since I was a kid, and even though I'm very insecure about my voice and speech, I just can't let the passion go. Sorry for the very long unimportant response to your comment haha I'm happy that you enjoyed the video and I thank you for not leaving a mean comment about my speech. 💙

im not sure if anyone commented it but for the “Gearhead” sticker in Griffin’s room, I think it’s supposed to be a nod to Motörhead/Triple H, Motörhead being the punk rock/metal band and the iron cross being Triple H’s logo for his gear

About the fries thing, Sam does have an exchange with Freddie that goes something like this: “Enjoy your chili fries.” “I will.” “After he [the waiter] blows his nose on them.” So, I always just assumed that Spencer’s “friends” got sick from their fries because the waiter snotted on them, just as Sam predicted. The white substance theory definitely seems like a bit of a reach.
I still hate that episode where Carly gets a bad boy bf cuz she literally just shit talks him for having cute little stuffed animals that make him happy! Like wtf???
