This is actually my first build online back in the day and i did a lot of pvp with it. Fcr fireball /meteor it was just awesome to play
I used to run East Ladder back in the day on an ES Light Sorc. 117/86fhr, operates very similar to this but you have the benefit of getting those wild 35k lightning rolls and the extra levels in ES from skillers. Charged Bolt was crazy strong for telestomping too assuming you were against a class not using Tgods (because they would get healed). Miss those days
I used a ES Fireball sorc many years ago. She slapped pretty hard!

Man this brings me back when i used to pvp with my old fire sorc back in 1.09 on my 28.8kbps dialup lmao those 23k fire bolts did some work. Love seeing this build making a comeback

Fantastic Video. Wonder if investing something into hydra would be worth it - just to keep the opponent moving and dodging non stop due to its huge range.
I tried a version with this, but opted out of it to put more points into ES. It's possible to prebuff though and still have room for Hydra!

I hadn't played since 2002 Until very recently, I'm always late to the party. Your videos are helping get up to speed on everything I've missed. Oh and the Melee Meta isn't broken...... I think..... I've spent the last week reading and going over new rune words and mechanics so I'm hoping some of my old concepts can have life now..... it's looking good in test phase.
What armor do you use? Also mercs gear?
I was thinking of making a cheap 200 fcr FB sorc. Someone gave me a 2 fire 20 fcr 27 strength circlet. Not much else on it but would prob use a wizpike for res and more fcr. Wouldn’t have the best dmg but for just a fun cheap build it would be cool.
Es fireball was thing i enjoyed alot during 1.10 pvp like 10 15 years ago.
gonna be honest the 2 most op classes forever are telebonemancer (infinite range with ibs) huge damage with bsp , and trapsyn if you make it with 174 fcr with mb they became godlike if you stun bug them with fireblast trap and mb so it has not only 1 damage it has 3 for make it harder to stack (light , fire , physical)
What armour do you use with this build?
Are use that Mosers for the whole first season d max warmth 1 es blizz (on my babi side of course. Which was wrecking also 😅

seeing the meta get shaken up makes me really want to get into dueling again. I used to run dueling ladders on JSP 20 years ago. Now i just dont have the time or patience to farm the gear necessary to be competitive. Good thing I have Coooley here to live vicariously through.
Update, been back at it farming and trading. Now that the hype at launch is over. Prices and trading are much more relaxed. Got myself the enigma, 35 spirit, CTA, Torch and Ani i needed. Now i only need a few more PnB GC's and small charms. But that's just an extra luxury. Look for me on the moor fellows!

if you're willing to take the hit on FB damage (roughly 6k) you could max hydra instead, with the cool down removed getting 6 up is insanely fast, each one does about 4500x3 and turns the moor into a bullet hell.
Their attack speed though.. they're not fast enough

I ran basically this for pup duels back in the day. It was always funny to humiliate people by killing them with the firebolt
I think best space efficiency build is make Enchant Sorceress capable of act pass, newbie buff, torch quest. D2R have Character Limit so I think this is best.

Cooley you might want to check out the mod "Project Diablo 2" which is the best mod ever made for D2. There is also a pvp community, tournaments and even an extra map specifically made for pvp.
I guarantee you he knows about it.

Mb es fb sorc was my main pvp toon in d2 lod... sorb me infinity in stash.
Nice build, I prefer frostburn and fcr amulet instead of magefist and mara. Only bad thing about it is that good bowazons kill her relatively easily.
Btw, you could add 2 lightning skillers and 3 lightning amulet in the cube for precast, thats how I would do it. Its still should be considered legit, but you would have to drop some items on the floor to cast.
dropping items to pre buff has afaik always been against GM rules

Try out TomyyVV's immortal sorc build if you want something really fun with ES. Ghandi sorc build is always worth a laugh as well

Haven't played D2 in 20 years or so, but wants to try D2R. Do Blizzard still update and balance D2R, or are things stable now? I don't like when they buff and nerf stuff all the time like D4.
Bro I have a wacky/fun idea to get a few more ppl into DFC...weight classes/lvl restrictions...@ atom weight is lvl 9-11..feather weight lvl 12-15...items rune words requirements and skills at lvl ..sorting weight classes by lvl..just gimme a shout out...The InfideL..it could snow ball interest in non ladder before d4 hits....good luck bro

You can just sorb vs fire sorc, that's why it's not popular haha. Most of the time people are playing pub duels, and there's pretty loose rules in those games..

if some one uses rising sun dwarfs and Hotspurs grab infinity Merc but protect him with meat shields ...or get ally with conviction ...you don't need to uninstall the game bro!
Nobody is sleeping on FB ES. It's literally top 3 1v1 builds. As it always has been. What it does not have, though, are desynced, invisible hammers. Oh gawd, the hammers. _ptsd intensifies_
