Sorry Timmy Sr. you were not an adult at 15. A teenager perhaps since you decided that having a child at age 16 was a mature decision. I will give you credit for working and going after young Tim when you knew he was not in the care of his mother.
Ok the fathers testimony sheds so much light. As I watch more he sheds a lot of light on the things that lead up to this horrible thing. This case disturbs me because there many potential Tim's out there. Tim as a baby was neglected and not bonded with his mother. And unable with dad as a baby as she abducted him. Lack of bonding in fornative years can cause many personality disorders namely psychopathy. So he seemed to be functioning ok until his own wife left him. In my opinion in his mind this was a trigger of what had happened in his early years. Due to his inability or unwillingness to get mental health help and or give up his children to a safe environment the dice were cast and the horrid ending resulted. It's sad to hear his dad tell if his childhood.....but those babies if his deserved a life.

GMarie -Behind The Mask- Upbringing & genes certainly play a part in who we become. BUT, they are absolutely not the sole reason any of us are the adults we are today. Life choices & personal decisions play an even bigger role. For example, my father grew up with alcoholic parents. As a result, he chose at the age of 10 to never have a drink of alcohol in his life & he hasn’t. He almost certainly has the gene but bc he chose to never drink, he didn’t activate it. A close friend of mine was severely beat by her mother, who’s now serving life in prison. When she became a mother she was determined to be different, taking parent classes etc & she’s an incredible mother. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not always that cut & dry. I inherited depression from my maternal side & I certainly didn’t choose that. But, I have chosen treatment. Guess what I’m saying is genes & upbringing can only explain so much. As adults we all have the freedoms to choose something different than how we were raised-both negatively & positively. Tim Jones chose his path & made his own decisions. That’s on his head, no one else’s.
This man is not dumb, he's a tool&die maker. He makes good money, works 5days a week and why do you care that he drinks alcohol? He's not the one on trial. Judge your own faults.
I do gave to say this is the most outrageous court behavior I have ever seen allowed lol prosecution objects the witness is arguing why its valid , both prosecutor and defense attorneys sit while questioning and sit while making objections .. This is a damn circus!
I wish the JUDGE had told Tim Sr.to stop the bad language. I know he did once but he just continued to talk like that throughout his testimony. He is difficult to hear sometimes.
Now we know where Little Timmy got the idea of holding up his court hearing for 6 months... DAMN ROTTEN APPLE DID NOT FALL FROM THAT ROTTEN APPLE TREE... BIG TIMMY DOESN'T LIKE WOMEN EITHER... LISTEN TO HIM BASH HIS OWN MOTHER BUT YET SAY NOT ONE MEAN THING ABOUT HIS FATHER.... JMO....
So you’re allowing your husband’s son to live with you, who gets arrested and jailed on drug charges and you don’t know WHAT kind of drugs he was arrested for? You, lady, are out of touch! Something tells me anyone associated with Big Daddy Tim ain’t too happy!
Why are so many people commenting on the clothing of a witness? Is that really so important? This woman was his mom for most of his life growing up, so it's probably really difficult for her to talk about him and to be a witness. She actually spoke really well and did a good job testifying. This is the kind of petty cruelty and bullying that ruin our world!
He looks like he'd hurt children.. if he lived in my neighborhood my kids would be warned.. buddy don't look right..he comes near you , you run and start screaming..and my kids are grown men!
The grandpa? If so your an idiot. He's a journeyman electrician and makes great money, works 10hr days 5 days a week, stop being a princess your making an embarrassment of yourself.
He’s on some serious psych meds. His weight gain and flat effect show that very clearly. I personally think he shouldn’t have been allowed to have been medicated throughout this trial. If anything, they should’ve let him have some of his precious “scooby snacks” and let the real “little Timmy” shine through. Instead, he gets to sit there pumped full of psych meds. That’s wrong. He’s BEYOND treatment at this point. He lost all rights to his mental and physical health when he executed his five children. He should not be numbed and he should feel the pain he’s caused. Sorry. I just really hate this man. He killed them all on my birthday…then he dumped them just Miles away from my family’s property in Camden. This case has just resonated with me so much. They should bring back the electric chair just for little Timmy…especially since he blames his six year old baby trying to electrocute him for this whole thing. It would be poetic justice.
I just keep shaking my head. I have watched hours and hours of this court case. This is 3 generations dysfunctional families. And it's not just like his one person in the family being dysfunctional. The grandmother and the grandfather we're both dysfunctional. The mother and the father were both dys functional. Timmy and his wife we're both dysfunctional. It's all so crazy! I actually may have misspoke. I think this goes back 4 generations. I just realized the towards the end of the testimony Timothy senior States that he never saw a woman in his life give up their children except for his grandmother. So apparently although we don't know the circumstances there was some reason why his grandmother gave up custody of either his mother or father. Who knows what that was all about. We can only imagine. But obviously seeing these 3 generations we can pretty much assume that Timmy's great grandparents we're also dysfunctional. Holy crap! 😔😔😔
People seem to be looking down there noses towards Tim Sr his a working class manual worker that runs a small construction company. Also his sitting there across from his son that’s killed his 5 children/ Tim Sr Grandchildren. And all people can say is he isn’t talking clear enough.
Grateful Ant I know right! What the heck!!! It’s ridiculous all these comments! Everyone talks looks different from one another , my gawd! It must be so difficult to be the father sitting across from his son who killed all his children. 😔
I just can't wait to hear the outcome of this verdict so as everyone in the courtroom and anyone else is watching and to those 5 kids not sure they can R. I. P.
I didn't know that it is "legal" for a witness to be in court hearing what other witnesses say, before giving testimony (11:37 Tim Jones Sr. is sitting on the bench when called). Why is that? It sure isn't legal in danish courtrooms.
Last night they closed with the defense speaking with Tim Jones Sr, today court didn't start till after 10 and the prosecution never crossed Tim Sr....WTF?
Sometimes the prosecution won't grill a parent or grandparent going through such horrible loss. They don't want to to seem to overzealous and out for blood. I witnessed it once serving as a juror.
Much respect to the Judge, I dont know too many that would allow a Witness to use that much profanity while testifying. He allowed him to be honest and real. Also his father knows he made mistakes but my heart went out to him when he had to stop himself from becoming emotional about certain topics.
Agreed, all these people putting him down in these comments is so wrong, everyone's entitled to an opinion but hes not the one on trial here he raised his son the best way he knew how and alone I might add. People need to take that into consideration!
I can't say I take issues with his father it's obvious "little timmy" was a spoilt brat who only feels sorry for himself. His father is obviously emotional every time he drinks it's obvious he loved those babies.
@@michellegriffin2046 It was a bit confusing with 'since' and 'sense' but regardless, not sure anyone can teach common sense. (this part is more to G' comment) just my opinion but most academics I know lack common sense and they certainly lack street knowledge. With regard to Tim SR. cursing in court, I think that he is being real. He is being him and explaining how he saw these things at this time. Then you add in the emotional side, as the man fights numerous times to not cry when talking about 'his babies'. Emotions, pain and nervousness is not a good receipt for court etiquette. See how he keeps drinking water incessantly? It is a mechanism he is using to deal with his raw pain under a microscope. I don't blame Tim Sr. for his adult son's behavior and choices. I blame Tim Jr., personally.
So is the father blaming Tim Jr's Ex Wife? He's rambling incoherent like he's on some type of drugs. And his language is straight out of the gutter. Amber didn't murder his 5 grand children, his son, or Timmy, did that ungodly horrible deed. I'm hoping that this is a Death Plenty case but if not he certainly should get Life Without Parole.

Tim Sr is such a lovely down to earth fella. I believe that church played a lot in Tim Jr turning out so bad. Yet he has a look of *PURE EVIL* about him though. How he could that to his weans is beyond me.
I get the sense he really loves his son, but he failed as a parent. I do agree that the extreme religiousity played into the defendant's behavior, but it's just one of many factors.
@@therealroygbiv Maybe , but Tim Sr didn't kill his kids the murderer did . Tim Jr is the one on trial *NOT* his Father.Even the churchgoers of that particular church, said he took things *WAY TOO FAR* religiously.

I do believe that all what happened with Tim Jr. and the family has alot to do with behaving the way the behavior others modeled to him as he grew up. It's too bad because the entire family is suffering a great deal.
Exactly. I've never seen that in any court hearing. I've been subpoenaed to testify in court before and I couldnt be in the court room until I took the stand. This is crazy to me.
The prosecuting, or the defense lawyers, motion the court to have the witnesses sequestered, if they feel it is needed, before the trial starts. They must not have thought it would be an issue.
It depends on what type of witness you are. For example if 2 or more people witnessed a crime you can't be in court when other witnesses testify but these are more character witnesses.
He was raised by his grandmother which was Narcissistic; so he turned out that way too. He used his kids more like property, something to boss around. Instead of loving them in a maternal parent way. If he seemed to take care of them in the past he really snapped -- with depression and his addictions problems.
Tim Sr. is so down to earth, and he had a very smart son who happened to have emotional and mental problem, and all of the families were dysfunctional! The precious children paid for all of that dysfunction!! They are in Heaven with our Lord now, and for eternity.."r.i.p. sweet children"...

Everybody has a past some better than others, it can explain but it doesn’t excuse your adult behavior.
Not that it's relevant in any way, but I couldn't help but to notice that "Timmy" and his father have the same hair line!
Yes, you are right! 😹😹😹😹😹
And his other sons, too!!
This man has something likeable about him don’t get me wrong. I understand he must be in some sort of shock but why, WHY does he keep swearing and talking like five small children aren’t dead because “Timmy” the great dad murdered them 😐
There are many men who’s wife cheats on them and they don’t murder the children!
they ultimately didn't get back together because of his big romance with the teenaged babysitter who is blind, she says
gjh 😂 she’d need to be
He isn't talking like five children aren't dead. But he still loves his son. He can't hlep it. Love doesn't die that easily.
Because , he wanted to hurt his ex-wife, he was so mad that Nathan ran off to hugged his mom.
I suppose other cities don't have a Court Dress Code. Off the shoulder in my hometown will get you a contempt fine if you don't correct the issue before the Judge takes the bench.

His ex gf/babysitter showed up in a tight pink tank top, much worse than this witness. Chrystal Ballentine, Day 11 Part 1 @25:00 minutes.
I was surprised at some of their dressing for court, especially Tim Jr. s' live in girlfriend/ babysitter. I think she dressed to spite him.
@@xfreespirit1979x I think she dressed like that to spite Timmy .It was not appropriate court attire.
Taylor Queensbury I think the judge is just lenient honestly....there’s a few things that has happened in that court that other judges wouldn’t allow
Sorry Timmy Sr. you were not an adult at 15. A teenager perhaps since you decided that having a child at age 16 was a mature decision. I will give you credit for working and going after young Tim when you knew he was not in the care of his mother.
Ugh.. he OBVIOUSLY didn’t decide to have a baby at 16 it was an accident just like so many others..
Dad (Tim Sr) has a bit of a cussing issue lol. At least he’s not fake.
Man family counseling would have been so good for that father.
VioletBlue I think you are 100% right.everybody bashing him.he brought him up on his own when he was just a kid.he lost 5 grandkids, people need to be a bit more compassionate.he's not the one on trial.

Here we go, let’s blame the family.......geez
Amen!
How do you suppose he became the way he is if not for his upbringing and genes? It’s not blame it’s called cause and effect
GMarie -Behind The Mask-
Yeah, well 5 children are dead....
He’s vindictive and only did all the evil things he’s done to get back at Amber.......
Dad's like a extra in the Sopranos
I thought if “Tommy” from Rescue Me.
This man is not dumb, he's a tool&die maker. He makes good money, works 5days a week and why do you care that he drinks alcohol? He's not the one on trial. Judge your own faults.
He isn't on trial or being judged for character or parenting. I find him to be very honest. He became emotional over those grandkids.
I do gave to say this is the most outrageous court behavior I have ever seen allowed lol prosecution objects the witness is arguing why its valid , both prosecutor and defense attorneys sit while questioning and sit while making objections .. This is a damn circus!

JMO....
he spoke from the heart.
Why didn’t you pick the baby up to stop him from crying! That cake 🎂 in the middle of the floor was a clue she was sick of you and your mom
Is there anyone in this family that’s normal????
No. Apparently not.
He looks like he'd hurt children.. if he lived in my neighborhood my kids would be warned.. buddy don't look right..he comes near you , you run and start screaming..and my kids are grown men!
😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
😆😆 when his defense attorney gets choked on his water Tim hands him the infamous dry handkerchief 😆😆

Right, but back in the 70s they really believed in hair.
MB. Yes, not clear about anything. The whole family is unstable and mental.
She pretty said(dad)
She has no idea how to dress appropriately for court.
That's what I thought
He makes me as sick as "lil Timmy"! Sounds like hes got a speech impediment.
Stop talking about when the killer was a child. Talk about the Children that he Killed ! His own children.
I think his dad drinks to stop the crying, but he saying it how it was.
He was a drunk years before this happened.
I just can't wait to hear the outcome of this verdict so as everyone in the courtroom and anyone else is watching and to those 5 kids not sure they can R. I. P.
I wish he'd take the stand so we can see if Timmy matches the voice confession. He looks different than the voice.

I didn't know that it is "legal" for a witness to be in court hearing what other witnesses say, before giving testimony (11:37 Tim Jones Sr. is sitting on the bench when called). Why is that? It sure isn't legal in danish courtrooms.
Just liked in the beauty pageant final same

Last night they closed with the defense speaking with Tim Jones Sr, today court didn't start till after 10 and the prosecution never crossed Tim Sr....WTF?
Sometimes the prosecution won't grill a parent or grandparent going through such horrible loss. They don't want to to seem to overzealous and out for blood. I witnessed it once serving as a juror.
What else did they need him to say though?
Much respect to the Judge, I dont know too many that would allow a Witness to use that much profanity while testifying. He allowed him to be honest and real. Also his father knows he made mistakes but my heart went out to him when he had to stop himself from becoming emotional about certain topics.

@@michellegriffin2046
It was a bit confusing with 'since' and 'sense' but regardless, not sure anyone can teach common sense.

What an outfit to wear to court? Just sayin
I’ve never seen witnesses sit in the court listening to the proceedings...get called up to the stand, give evidence and sit back down in the court.
