Also, most places in Visayas, people speak bisaya. Just like in Cebu. "Cebuano" is just used more specifically for Cebuanos(people in Cebu), but still, it is called bisaya. I hope this makes sense. 😅 Even in their first video together, Kulas asked BoyPerstaym if he knows "bisaya", and he replyed, "just a little." because he speaks tagalog and not bisaya. When u hear d word MINDANAO first thing comes to mind is "Feared". Growing up in northern PH all u hear about Mindanao is troubled; muslims against Christians, muslim rebels trying to overthrow PH government n kidnappings 4 money. As a young person d trauma caused by these negative vibes are deep-seated. It seems we have a long way to eradicate such terrible reputation of Mindanao n its ppl. Good news tho d DU30 admin is progressively reversing d bad situations to better conditions. And u Kyle is doing a great job promoting Mindanao calling it ur homebase in PH. You lead by example touring ppl both domestic n foreign nationals into deep Mindanao to prove a point. We d Filipinos can't tnx u enough 4 ur relentless effort. Ingat ka lng...

As an American watching these vlogs I really plan to go to Mindanao one day, but being married to a filipina from southern Luzon she freaks out mentioning that. Her best friend here in the U.S. is from Cebu and she is the same way about Mindanao. Apparently most filipinos outside of Mindanao are really scared of there and they are REALLY REALLY scared about taking an American there. Seems to me Filipinos are the one hurting the rep of Mindanao. Hopefully one day soon I can see for my self. I'll take her to Cebu and then work our way closer and closer. Maybe she'll relax a little...haha She even has a grandmother and aunts in CDO that have been there many years and she still feels like that. Take care! 👍👍✌✌

what a nice place.. those bamboo rafts with cafes in it kinda reminds me of the ones I saw in ilocos as a kid...however those cafes that I saw are in the sea.. aka sea side floating bars with a karaoke machine in it! you have to get to those floating bars via a rickety bamboo bridge that hobbles through the waves! it was a terrifying but an unforgettable experience! truly fun times though

Weather there almost on par with the west coast, (Vancouver) summer definitely over at both ends. Guess you will have to cover up with some long cloths, my filipinna tells me it should begin warming again in February. Hope your work with the tourism board thrives as we all follow your updates and unpredictable adventures. Hunker down K, it may be a handful of months before the sun will be baking everything beneath it. Always travel/B safe.

Weather there almost on par with the west coast, (Vancouver) summer definitely over at both ends. Guess you will have to cover up with some long cloths, my filipinna tells me it should begin warming again in February. Hope your work with the tourism board thrives as we all follow your updates and unpredictable adventures. Hunker down K, it may be a handful of months before the sun will be baking everything beneath it. Always travel/B safe.

you can see how a guy from luzon is so innocent to mindanao, their food, the fruits and the dialect. Its ironic a foreigner is the one teaching a filipino on the culture of a part of the Philippines. Salamat kulas for promoting parts of mindanao and the visayan dialect. Im from luzon batangas and im telling you my kabayan doesnt even taste or heard of marang.
