It becomes apparent that this is not how it was meant due to the phrasing, particularly of "poor theming," which doesn't fit the "no [noun phrase]" form that the first item initiates; however, it still was a mental stumbling block.
In order to use the same phrasing and items in the list, but without the confusion, simply swap the first item in the list, which begins with "no," with any other item in the list:

Carl has the best reaction to troll levels in my opinion, just absolutely loves them but other players seem to despise them because it ends their runs
8:16 I think it was actually supposed to be beaten by being small and not havein a fire flower. That's why the spikes were different after the checkpoint (that would stay the same if you don't hit the on/off-switch at the beginning) and there's a fire flower at the end of the pipe.
I feel so proud of myself for getting that. (Maybe I'm not correct but I'm pretty sure)

To all the people asking how he is able to do this run and the other run where he is going for a high score.
Since he already posted a part 2 of the high score run, I assume he finished recording that one, saved it on his computer, and is in the process of editing that one since I assume it's a lot of editing to do. Don't worry he probably finished or unfortunately failed the run before he started a new run.
Hopefully he didn't start a new run without finishing or failing his high score run first.

If you would have taken bottom at that first funky troll level at the end, you would have been soft locked because you can't blow up the bottom of the goal post, quite ingenious.

Ryu, I highly recommend playing some of the levels from troll creators that Carl plays! It’d make for great content imo. I know you like to speed through levels but good troll levels can prevent that making the outcome hilarious!
This video has it all! High skill ryu-venge, obscure cheese, and a leap (Larry) of faith into greatness.
That 4th level though. That was awesome!

dodge the first smaller thwomp by carrying the pow over using the 2x4 vertical empty space to the left of it and letting it pass you. that leaves you a free pow to carry to the second larger thwomp, pows do not activate in pipes letting you chuck that first pow in the pipe above the large thwomp and use the second pow to kill the thwomp.
not only is it cheese because you can skip the wooden box, it gives you a second chance to enter the pipe should you lose the box. also for anyone doing a speedrun this lets you cheese a much faster clear time by skipping the wooden box pipe jumps in the prior area.
