Bellewaerde New for 2024 Rapids Amazonia!

- The latest addition to Bellewaerde is the impressive looking next generation river rapids Amazonia.
Set ina new area themed to Brazil and built by Intamin, this ride features so many unique elements.
The ride has been plagued with issues due to being such an advanced ride system, and opening has been delayed while they work on the attraction. The Ride closed very soon after opening to work on this.
Footage was filmed Saturday 4 May and we were told by staff members that there were 16 faults needed to be worked o alonh with parts being replaced.
Also new in the Brazillian themed area is Braziilian Buggies, a kids rollercoaster and a baby log flume which they were adding the finishing touches while we were there, including lowering the boats in the trough.
