Bro just explain me this if they saved 3kgs then why there's no power gain (even 0.5 ps) in this newer version although it doesnt affect my love for this bike ❤
Bruh, losing weight doesnt mean engine produces more power.
lets consider 2 bikes producing 20bhp of power and 15nm of torque.
bike1 is 100kg and bike2 is 180kg.
Although both bikes' engines produce the same power and torque figures, the lighter bike1 will have a better acceleration as he engine in bike one has to move less mass compared to the heavier bike2.
But there is a catch. lighter a bike is more aerodynamic it needs to be and more rigid the frame of that bike has to be for highspeed stability.
But in case of the new 2023 NS200 BS6 Phase 2, the Engine power figures haven't changed at all, but the overall motorcycle is lighter by 3Kgs with a more rigid structure due to the newly introduced USD Forks.
Hence the NS200 doesn't produce more power, but he 3Kgs of weight loss will help in gaining speed a tad bit when compared to the older BS6 model.
Mind you the old OG NS200 BS3 will still beat the 2023 model, as it is even more lighter, while producing more power. But remember the Weight loss in 2023 is only 3KGs, but, NS200 over the years, after every update, had become very heavy, so it just lost 3Kgs from that gained weight from BS4 & BS6.
Weight doesn't play as much as a high role in speed as increase in bhp will. So Expect minimal improvements. A 50Kg weight loss would be great for speed, but then it would make he bike lose practical features like saree guard, extra footrests, engine guard, headlight assembly, fuel pump, FI system, ABS System, disc brakes etc.

@@RollingPistonsIndia Yeah i checked at my local Supreme Bajaj dealer, I does come with main stand pre-installed and it is mandatory & You can only remove it after leaving showroom with purchased bike. Bookings are already open.
