Love Jimmy's version of these classics. Very anointed! When he writes he is a gifted composer.
I really admire Jimmy for reviving old wonderful Christian songs we sang in our church when I was still young. very nice and really touch my heart. my tears are falling now because of joy. praise God for using this young man for His glory.

This is what Desiring God is? You can't even understand the spirit of the original hymn, let alone the Word of God.
Bro i have no idea why are u so conservative. True the old hym is a masterpiece but personally in my honest opinion i prefer this one and even so style may have chnged a bit. The God we worship and whome jimmy is referring to hasnt changed
Everyone has there opinions but our God is the same God from when this song was first written to this version he can use anybody and anything I mean he used a burning bush who couldn't he use this
