I will breakdown myths and give you insight into working behind the walls and bars of the correctional system. In this video specifically, I answer the questions is if it's dangerous or scary to work in prison as a nurse?

Man I hear back from the LPN program in 1-3 weeks. Waiting to know if I got in or not. The class size is 30 students, 150 applicants. 😅

@@MaleNurseMentor Haha. I don't mind, as long as they pump the salary up right. YOLO. I do wonder what the situation is like if you get injured on the job for an attack/incident though.
@@Agustin-jo8mv Atleast in the Cali prison setting and also the jails, the pay is pretty good. Also a lot of OT is available. The state prison gives a pension too, which is nice in the long run. If you get injured it’s likely still workers comp or disability. The inmate would get a new charge on their case for assault.
