Hahaha thats awesome Randy! Welcome to the channel and feel free to let me know what you think about my other videos. Thanks for the support man! Cheers.
Even i feel d same way. The video really taught me a lot. I'm actually a starter on resolve. I used to edit on primer pro. But you really helped me to get out of it.
Great video as always! For the people who are confused with the options in the planar tracker node (Point and Hybrid Point/Area) and which one to choose. With the "point" option selected, Fusion is doing everything by itself, and selects which patterns to track or reject. It's faster but with complex (or weird) patterns and objects passing in front of it, it can cause some inconsistent results, micro jitters, etc. (The little red dots are the point rejected by the tracker). With the hybrid point/area option, *ALL* the pixels of your selection are tracked (it seems more accurate for me), *BUT* if something is passing in front of it, so you have to use an "occlusion mask" hooked to the node (the white entry, just a mask you animate to hide the parts passing in front of your selected plane).
Hey thank you! Great detailed comment btw. For some reason I tried all the tracking methods and this seemed to work best for me. Could be the footage I don't know. Seems to be a little hit or miss with some of the options but thanks again for this comment. I always end up using the hybrid option.
@@JamieFenn No problem :) My comment was mostly aimed at those who read the comments and have trouble to understand why some tracking don't work well 😁. You already know more than us ahah :D

Hey Jamie, do you know how I can make a scribble title animation using this tools? As in, a title that is a hand-drawn word, hand-drawn on multiple frames and then having those frames repeated so it looks like the text is 'wiggling' in place.
great great video.... I saw you earlier one this one is much more understandable if I am remembering the first.... thank you for updating .... Ill be using this technique a lot....
Thanks so much fo r your tutorials. Really helpful. Also another way to have multiple copies of the neon drawings, you can just add the duplicate node after the transform node and adjust the timing in the duplicate node to have them come in at diff. times. Just cleaner this way
Real quick, if you dont want to do the threshold thing with the rays, you can add it after the transform of softglow. the way he has it its pretty much effecting the entire clip after the merge. great tutorial tho :3
@@JamieFenn yeah. That was the 1st one I seen right after downloading davinvi. I subbed right away. I was using shotcut. Your tutorials will be why I become noticed for sure. Thank you 😊
Thanks Adam. I try and make my videos for everyone.

19:30 To do Time Stretching, you need to select the keyframes in yellow color. After selecting Start and End "Right Click - Select Points - ALL" I've been making mistakes for about an hour because of this detail.
You make outstanding contents Mr. Jamie Fenn, thank you for sharing! By learning these I hope I will surprise my teacher and my friends when I do my next presentation
still a nice tutorial - thanks. noticed that you can realy easy switch the brush shape to a image and load every png you like. designed a special glowy image in photoshop and exported it by 1920x1080 so i could use the size 1 and it was easy to center it exactly as i designed it in ps. i first exported a frame and used it as background in ps. but you can just google for some free pngs.
Really nice ! Do you have a tutorial for detouring things like faces or a full body in a video and replacing the background by a green screen ? Like how to create our own green screen video
Cool effects, great ideas good explanation. Thanks ! Btw Jamie Fenn, when you enter keyframe or Spline editor in fusion there is a zoom to fit button, idk if you knew.
Just if you were unable to paint at any point, make sure that you have your softglow linked to the foreground input of your Merge node. Then make sure that the Media in is connected to the yellow input of the Merge node. Just in case ;)
Really amazing video that i'v learned so much since the first video about the glow and really glad i came across this video since i just started making videos!

Didn’t I do that in one of the techniques?
@@JamieFenn I believe you just copied and pasted them, not used a duplicate node
watched it through again, and yeah, you only copied and pasted
true, but does it lack the flexibility of having multiple node trees?
@@JamieFenn agreed you have more flexibility with multiple nodes.
