It is 184 AD, during the Later Han Dynasty in China, and the land has been overcome by chaos and destruction. The imperial dynasty that prospered for many years is now on the verge of collapse.

For Pwar, I saw u got set mitigation on your bow, I did as well and it’s not working and yes I made sure that bow is equipped and even checked to make sure it wasn’t out of ammo have you had that problem?

Despite everyone's issues with the game, I'd still say this game is a pretty good game. Sure, while the weapons don't change your play style as much as they should, I think it's important to remember that getting special versions of the base weapons can drastically change how you fight since special weapons have unique martial arts.

I was working on a similar build focusing on fatal strikes, but with the two main stats being water and metal. The plain being to set up ice traps, then poison with magic or spirit, followed by pole dancing using the Monkey's Wisdom skill to build up to a fatal strike, but after seeing the NG+ damage... Ya I may go with your build. Thanks for taking the time to test and put together these builds.
I really hope we are getting more ways to deal damage without needing to spam stun cheese going forward. Let's hope we don't get to hell or hell difficulty by DLC 3.
@raphaelmaciel3986 The weapon and gear is the same as PWAR's the main difference being spells and stats. Use venomous discharge or snake spirit and lead enemies into the frozen spear trap spells you set up, then if or when they stager use Monkey's wisdom skill on staff to break spirit and hit a fatal strike. The other spell slots can be used for buffs or stealth. Life wither is a good spell to use in boss fights.
I've only just started putting it together recently, so I haven't had a chance to test it in NG+ yet. I'd say use PWAR's build, it looks like the stronger one. I'm sure PWAR will make a better poison and/or water build soon.
You're right bro, Water and Metal is much better in this build. I can spam 3 Ominous Chill on bosses even on first game and i can cheese it long range. The Bulldozer Build is wow but just spamming spirit attack with stone enchant or ice enchant gives you easy win.

Love all ur build PWAR. For me I use glaive good damage and easy to evade attacks. But for build still working on it I'm now in ch4/part4
is there any way to obtain libationer guo set as 5 star set ? i scanned the entire internet and cant seem to find anything about it , only as 4 star through the sworn brother status
you have to rng farm it like you do everything else. there is no guarantee 5 star gear, welcome to rng loot system from nioh

You're back at it with the mad scientists builds lol. I'm currently farming graces myself, It's neat that they made a set for every Virtue type but there's one in particular I'm farming for to try. That's the Skyward Majesty set that has a five piece bonus that gives bonuses for having three Virtues within 5 points of each other. I'm dying to know what the bonuses are lol.

@@DeltaUK57170 It slightly adds to virtue bonuses and was pretty disappointing. It might be better in future DLC if we get more Virtue points. I'm currently using the Lingbao set which adds 15% extra damage for having 3 debuffs on an enemy.

@@zaf9286 yes, all gear is obtainable in ng. i showed who to raise the bond of to get the set and weapon. for accessories just use 4 star versions. some spells have to be unlocked but should unlock all spells around chapter 4-6.
Is there a weapon that has innate STONE ENCHANT? The Cavalry Halberd naturally has Flame Enchant, so you can just roll it off and put it on what you need it on, but I cant find anything with Stone Enchant.
Its just rng, I have a 3 star sword that came with the stone enchant. My friend got two with lightning and the other fire. No real specific way to farm.
Yeah I just got the sword with meotric strike as well as it's thunderous impact its ridiculously op to just charge into enemies and delete there spirit.
Please do a quaterstaff or glaive build it would be awesome
DAMN that armor design is scary
Quick invaders tip for the ones being invaded in for the ones invading earth moves are fantastic for pvp and also one of the wood moves used in boss man video cheese but good because your definitely going to get jumped

I'm hoping to make an ultimate tank and spank build with heavy weapons or glaives. I'm not sure how viable it will be though. Maybe you'll make one and I'll just clone it. :P
based off the damage i was taking against lu bu in ng+, definitely possible. not red attacks, but everything else. when i get to graces that'll be the plan, tho you can use the stone roar and go high hp for thicc. but probably have to go different wpn unless okay with dealing lower dmg with guding.
I'm basically using a new game version of this build. You should use the fire buff that doubles damage on martial arts, I can't remember the name but with it I literally one shot human spirit then I rebuff , take the fatal blow, then one shot again on wake up.
it states it boost damage only, unless somehow damage also applied to "spirit damage" even though those should be separate stats. but noted, will test in the morning, gonna go to bed
@PWARGaming Also this does work against that lighting spear guy. Just counter his red attack then use the martial art after you fatal blow. It doesn't seem to have hyper armor so I get 2 fatal blows in a row.
is the liberator set really the best set for this? you can get power drop & amp in other places and the status effect parts of the set seem sort of wasted. What about another set that does spirit or martial arts damage?
the final piece gives 12.9% dmg increase against negative effects. all other sets are like 7% dmg increase, so technically better, and you get status accumulation and duration. also you dont want martial arts dmg, most of your dmg is from fatal strikes which MAD does not increase
Awesome build - I (barely) managed the three human boss fight, that's next to impossible without bulldozing them down, one at a time. I wish there was at least a medium armor available with decent perks, but this light armor is just too good to pass up.
I just got to this fight and have to say it's freaking impossible to fight them normally
Yeah bro that's a one at a time battle just take the dual blade user first then the spear and last the heavy one.
Have you found a fixed spawn for Earth Enchantment gems?
Only got a random Fire enchant off a spear, none of the other elements.

Hey! Cool build! Where do you get stone enchant, chill enchant etc.? I was able to only find the source of flame inchant by salvaging a certain Halberd.
You can also buy the spells and enchant manually. Need 12 stats and moral rank 7 to apply

There's a power drop on enemy deflect special effect for the arm guards if you switch to other armor :)

Im at max level at the end of first playthrough. It is 150, and you only get 149 stat points.
At best, you can balance and plan 3 elements at high stats.
At worst, you're gonna have an extra element or two that suck, cuz you only have pennies left to give.
Being able to balance 4, or even all 5 elememts will be possible when they up the level cap to 300 in post game and dlc.
Assuming they follow tier usual level cap track record.
This is just personal preference but with the build I prefer to swap out Inferno for absorb vitality that way if I do get hit absorb Vitality will easily regenerate my HP between all the Fatal strikes and martial arts attacks
just dont get hit
So I’ve done the same build for NG+. And the Grace set that I think will work is the Lingbao set.
Dang there really is a huge difference in damage between playthroughs

@Elijah I finished Nioh 1 and 2. Grinded so hard there. Wo Long has been easier than Nioh in general, so I was hoping the stat calculation vs the ramp up is more impartial, so we don’t need to just rely on just stacking damage stats, set bonuses, and buffs and one shotting everything (and being one-shot).
@Elijah I hated using the tanky damage builds from back then using ailments and shit. I prefer the player skill leaning experience even in the end game

What A agility gives is infinite dodge, faster spirit delay recover and raw recover time aside from using less spirit for deflects as well. What governs deflect speed is intirely the weapon. Its pretty much similar to Nioh 2 ki recover.
So, even IF you will only deflect you can spam more deflect and literally keep dodging eternally certain attacks and use more skills in a faster pace.
A tank should be used more if you are getting used to the boss patterns and will focus on physical attacks more or less.
I got a decorative knot with flame damage, negative effect duration on enemy, flame attack power and fire phase spell spirit consumption. Is that a good roll?

if he's not in part 5, then it'll be in part 6. its a main mission. he shows up randomly in story for 1 scene, then dips, and then is unlocked lol
What happens if u use a flame enchant I don’t have earth enchant
This is what carried me throughout my first playthrough. It makes bosses child's play, and it's broken that it's not even fun sometimes lol.

@@TakingBallZ i just used the weapon and I'm currently using another armor set. It still slaps. All you really need is the weapon with its unique skill.

Can you explain what gear/where to farm has the skills you've attached from? For example, I cannot find Spirit vulnerability on any items and I've hoarded all my gear and am at the finial boss. Same with Stone enchant. I have none of these skills available. Is there a farm area for the possibility? I just don't understand if it's RNG or if these should just be available or where to even try to find armor or weapons that have these skills.

Its random you can find it on purple or yellow gear and extract from it

Power Drop is accessible via embed effects though, including Deflect ones and Martial Art ones - don’t think it’s ever worth getting it from a set.
Yep, this was my first reaction. He probably never got it to drop, but I really wouldn't go for this set with that build.
What armor do you guys recommend to use if i got those embed stats? Im still rocking caocao atm in NG
@@typicalgoodguyclub4games I still use the cao cao myself, saving those embed for NG+ set as they are so rare.
Take it with a grain of salt, since game is still new, but here is a response I got on Reddit from asking the same question:
Flying General(Lu Bu)- Martial Arts set
Evil Taoist (Final Boss Armor)- Best Magic set hands down
Man of Benevolence (Forgot his name) - Possible unkillable build
Libationer Guo (Forgot his too)- Status Effect/Stealth/Fatal blow build
This build is solid, but looking for an alternative armour, cuz going light armour in NG+ is not sustainable, you're gonna get to a point where it's the main thing holding you back
true, like i said, but I've gotten past lu bu in ng+ with it, so if the hardest fight is done, I doubt anything else aside the 2-3 human missions will give it trouble.
How you get that spirit vulnerability on weapon
Have you compared this sword to the Vermillion Bird Axe? it has a very similar martial art. Just curious if that might be a viable alternative for those of us who love big axe bros.
i've tried and compared dmg and spirit dmg for most skills, and going by the pic its a no. heaven divine/divide did big dmg and spirit dmg, think its axe.

Why can’t I add spirit vulnerability?
I may be wrong but I believe higher agility makes it ‘easier’ to deflect by making it cost less spirit. It seems like a bad translation
Edit: Additionally you can spam dodge with A AGI like low stance in Nioh and with B you will roll after one dodge like mid stance
Yo im confused man, this spirit dmg received -2.1 is the hp dmg I take from enemy spirit attacks pvp/npc or the Spirit dmg i take from attacks??
usually anything with "minus -" = you. things that effect you. things that say "plus +" effect the enemy. so spirit damage +4% means you deal more spirit damage. spirit damage -4% means you take less spirit dmg.
@@PWARGaming yea I got dat down, wat I'm confused about is say for example I have dat attribute equipped right and I'm fighting a real player in an invasion, he does a spirit attack n hits me, does dat attribute reduce the damage his spirit attack?
Or is it only reducing the Spirit damage i take from attacks when blocking?

How do you get the spirit vulnerability stat? Mines is grayed out.
you have to find it randomly on a gear piece, then salvage it. its a purple stat, so its rare, and one use only, unlike the white or red icons.
If you're using the blade doesn't that mean you can't get full set bonus with armor since that needs the staff to fulfill it? So you don't actually get the 13% extra damage.

yo, does flame attack power as an embedment actually affects the damage of ur martial art etc? IMO it only affects fire imbued weapons
does not, but it will effect fire spell damage, which is the point. without element stacking, spells deal poor damage. you can get over 100 element power if stacked on everything

I don't understand why you use fire as your dump stat when the sword scales off of metal though?
it scales off fire too. the difference in a- and a+ is not big. 20 atk is nothing. also you completely ignore the use of pumping fire up, which is fire spells, which do more dmg than poison, which i already get through snake.

You can use lead tiger if you got those rare enchant from salvage and slot it in your armor choices, pwar use the light armor mostly for that power drop enchant and maybe a lil bit of those proc aillments
I myself use the lead tiger set, my rare enhancements as for now is power gain on MA, dmg amplify on wiz, spirit vulnerability on MA and damage reduction on deflect, you can also use caocao set to get those slow and spirit vulnerability on set effecta
for dmg. you get dmg amp, and 13% dmg against enemies with debuffs. that's the main reason. the power drop is the only thing that makes the armor usable safely tho, if it didn't have that i would have used something else. there also comes a point where more spirit dmg is wasted, since you break so easily already, so more dmg for fatal strikes is better for killing faster.

yah everything can be 5 star, its just rare as shit, and you can't get full sets easily like with the reinforcement system

random. rng. try my new luck build in pinned comment and you'll get a lot of embedded junk with special effects when you salvage the 3-4 stars you get

You need to beat behold the glaive of righteousness, its a duo boss, when you beat this boss their equipment will added to the lootpool drop
so farm the weapon until u find a 3 or 4 star or can u upgrade the stars? im new , my bad if this a dumb question
normal question. rarities can't be upgraded. so it's like, farm for the 4 star, then upgrade + level. 3 star can be okay, but don't go to +8-9, waste of mats. rarities effect how much stats an item has. but if you get the sets i mentioned from the bond thing, then you always get the 4 star version, tho everything is +0 so its a lot of upgrading to +9

Yeah in Nioh 2 if you had a certain build you can stay in yokai shift forever but they cut that down

bulldozer is mostly just abusing spirit damage, but nioh 1-2 you could outright 1 shot enemies which is way better. toward end of nioh 2 after dlcs game did become a ki break fiesta, which is what they seem to want to continue here.
