This is the finest Orchestra I have heard since Mantovani came on the scene back in the 40's and 50's...... elegance, grace and total class is what describes the Dan Fontaine Orchestra. Having Yena Choi as your First Violinist doesn't hurt either.... She is fabulous! Please Dan... cut some CD's and or DVD's so everyone has a chance to "own" some of your fabulous music. Play on!

Yes im a symphony hound and yes i sit up front because seeing these studious and characteristically introverted beautiful people on stage making this sound is utterly hypnotizing. I feel very much at home here...yes i learnt ballroom and i do enjoy being in the music too....this is the way a high end occasion should be but almost never is ...especially here in the US...we give too much of a fig about 'current and typically dreadful commercial music fit for 13 yr olds. i like this world where everyone is relaxed yet putting their best 'feet' forward...and its such a damn shame that in the country of its origin...well...i wouldnt mind going to Australia to see this..yes i would for this. Great job Mr Fontaine and beautiful talented musicians...youre rarer than you think.
