Henry Mancini is one of my favorite composers. No other composer could summon up the elegance and chic that was so emblematic of a certain time in the 60s, and which will never be seen again. But thanks to you, we can again hear it.

I first heard 'Lujon' when I was just a year old, but for the longest time, I thought it was something I had imagined-until I came across Hooverphonic's cover. The direction and orchestration are breathtaking; Dan Fontaine’s talent truly shines. The musicians are exceptional, especially considering how exposed you are in this style of music. They pull out all the stops and deliver a stunning performance.

This collection of superb readings of Hank Mancini et al has me in a mood, and missing the opulent life of international elegance & endless champagne that in the 1970s & 80s was once mine to inhabit. I grew up in LA in the 50s & 60s and Mancini was one of the movie composers that penned the soundtrack of our lives.

Lamentável a indisponibilidade em cds
Can’t even listen to a song without interruption by an adult in 75 secs. This is RUclips’s way of coercing you into paying them $14 a month for no ads. This is the result of monetization. The original RUclips didn’t censor like some prudish nanny and no ads either. Ad money of course made it’s way to RUclips after more people started watching it than TV because TV is so pathetic. Money goes where the eyes go. But the greed is such that they can’t allow you to hear a 3 min song through without interrupting it with ads. What tha does is drive people away to other platforms. RUclips is killing the golden goose out of greed as happens in many fairy tales. Human nature never changes.
