- A two-year-old girl, died of heat exposure inside a hot car for atleast 3 hours. Christopher Scholtes, the child's dad left her in the driveway on a scorching day, after unloading grocery and didnt want to wake her up.
Parker Scholtes was found dead in the blue 2023 Honda Acura SUV a little after 4:00pm on July 9 outside the family home in Marana, north of Tucson, Arizona.
When her mother Ericka Scholtes came home from work, she asked, "Where was Parker?" After looking in house , It was soon discovered she had been left in car and called 911.
Her father Christopher Scholtes, 37, stories have altered since day of event and has been charged with second-degree murder and child abuse after police found he left her in the car to nap for three hours. Preliminary Hearing due to be heard August 1, 2024.

He knew what he was doing. He knew better than to leave that baby in the car. Even with the ac on it's still WRONG. you are leaving a child unattended. I hope justice is served as well.

Also, I think it would be strange the other children would not ask where their sibling was at in all that time that passed. Idk just breaks my heart
