Here is a fun project that you can do easily in a morning or afternoon. Shoe horns are useful bits of kit and make super presents - especially for the older generation !
Another great video Peter. I spent this weekend drilling out my MFT table using your Parf guild mark 2 system. It worked a treat but I had the same issue as John McGrath - the top left hole was slightly out. But I followed yours and John’s advice and fixed the problem. I received my first set of Festool power tools on Friday and I couldn’t wait to try them. I must admit I was disappointed with the TSX drill driver - it is seriously under powered. I resorted to using my DeWalt driver instead. My dust extractor was another matter - it’s brilliant. Drill the Parf holes without it was a nightmare. The bit kept getting clogged up with MDF, but once I attached the Festool dust extractor the problem went away and the job was so much quicker. I’ve also taken delivery of the TS55 and the 150/3 sander. I hope they are like the dust extractor and not like the TXS. Keep on posting videos Peter W.
@@NewBritWorkshop I wonder if mine is faulty. I quickly ran out of charge on the first battery and the second one expired before the first one had recharged. In total, I only managed to drill half the holes in my table before both batteries had lost their charge. They were both fully charged before I started. The DeWalt on the other hand was not recharged since I last used it and coped admirably. Peter W.
Thanks Peter. Very timely - after a three month wait , my bandsaw ( same model as yours ) is due for delivery this week from Axminster. take care. All the best
Great and funny video again, always enjoyable. But you’ve got it all wrong: It’s the youngsters who need long shoe horns, cause they’re to lazy, and the elder we get, the more we need to bend the knees and backs for exercise 😂
What a fantastic looking shoe horn!
Many thanks!

Hi Peter, I use my CXS and TXS (they share the same mechanics but are a different shape) and have no problem with drilling. Peter

Bamboo?
2:57 You could've made the paper template longer by going diagonally across the sheet rather than just down the long side.
It was just an example remember. Cheers. Peter
