ranking every cherry bullet song

it's time for another discography dive! up next is cherry bullet, a 7 (originally 10) member girl group under fnc entertainment. cherry bullet is another one of those 4th gen girl groups that was criminally underrated, especially considering the talent of the members. although they had a somewhat strong start, fnc clearly went to the kpop company school of bad management (unsurprising considering the treatment of their other groups).
cherry bullet has been another casualty of the great girl group disbandment wave of 2024, so here is my ranking of their (criminally small) discography - let me know your favourite cherry bullet songs in the comments below!

cherry bullet debuted in january 2019 under fnc entertainment with 10 members - haeyoon, yuju, mirae, bora, jiwon, kokoro, remi, chaerin, linlin & may. member haeyoon was previously known for appearing on and ranking well in produce 48. they debuted to relative success with their debut single album 'let's play cherry bullet' reaching number 11 on the gaon chart.
cherry would go on to promote throughout 2019 when, in december, fnc announced that members mirae, kokoro & linlin would be leaving the group. no reason for their departure was given, unfortunately a common occurrence of fnc's bad management.
cherry bullet continued to release music to moderate success, although they never quite managed to break through to the top leagues of the 4th generation. in 2021, members bora, jiwon & may appeared on the mnet survival show 'girls planet 999'. although they didn't made it into the final lineup, bora did rank quite highly and gained attention for her strong vocal skills. in 2022, bora appeared on the show 'girl's re:verse', which showcased female idol vocals through virtual characters, however she didn't make it into the final group. later, in 2023, bora, jiwon & chaerin appeared on the mnet show 'queendom puzzle', although none made it into the final lineup. bora may hold the crown for survival show queen at this point.
in april 2024, fnc announced that had officially disbanded, after only a little over five years.
as for what the members are doing now, yuju, bora and chaerin stayed signed with fnc, and haeyoon, jiwon, remi and may terminated their contracts. haeyoon has since debuted as an independent soloist.
as for the former members, mirae re-debuted in the group pixy under allart entertainment under the stage name 'ella', although in 2022 it was announced that ella would be leaving pixy due to ill health. kokoro appeared in the japanese survival show 'produce 101 japan the girls', and ended up ranking 11th and making it into the final line up 'me:i'. me:i officially debuted in japan in april 2024. finally, linlin appeared on the chinese survival show 'great dance crew' in 2022, and the taiwanese survival show 'next girlz' in 2023. she has now officially re-debuted in the taiwanese girl group 'babymint' who debuted in august 2024
