My best friend and I are planning to get this scooter as we are going to high school in September and we were looking for a good way to get there and back (I'll edit my comment with my own review as soon as I get one). I was just wondering if it's possible to use this scooter when the battery dies? Just like a regular scooter? Thanks in advance, I really liked the way you edited this video and I subscribed!
Hey - that's a very good question! The answer is - yes, you can use it. It doesn't have any energy recovery so it can easily roll when there's no battery left - there will be minimal resistance.
Yup. When a hill comes up and when I begin rolling down it, ill shut her off. Have a few hills, so it save my battery a bit. When I get to the bottom ill kick it back on and keep going. But don't turn it on when you are going full speed down the hill, wait till u level off and are going about 5 mph.
Question: for commuting 1. Can it ride on strong rain? 2. Are battery water resistant? 3. Is the battery ad on available on the market? I like extra battery. Im from Philippines. I wish they increase the wheel size of future design. These wheel size isnt look good at bumping on big hamps.
Rain depends. A light rain sure. Heavy downpour no. Why would you? It has an ipx4 rating. Meaning it can take splashes from all sides. And yes you can purchase extra batteries from the turboant website. Plus they have all the accessories to fix yours. I have 2 of them. I keep one brand new, and the other is my ride. But I use the other ones battery from time to timd. Lasted 4 hrs with both packs. And the make an extended range 12.8v battery for it as well.
My 2 scooters arrived this morning, charged both batteries ,took one scooter out with the 2 batteries, Was riding at 20kph On a flat trail 1st battery did 8.3mls 2nd did 9.1mls No power for hills It just stops Feel like I wasted £900😰 My £230 Aovo is a better scooter 😱 It goes up really steep hills and loads power
@@TechMishka I've done 3 cycles, on Facebook scooter group people are getting 10mls It's only a 10 ah battery The specs are completely fake, it's the slowest accelerating the scooter I've ever had, completely useless on hills, someone said he's getting 5.5 miles at 20mph with a few hills Aovo pro is a much better scooter, almost double the range and much faster and better on hills
I HAVE ONE😁 I LOVE IT. GOT IT ON THE BLACK FRIDAY DEAL WITH AN EXTRA BATTERY FOR ABOUT 560 USD. NO TAX OR SHIPPING. I'M 5'10 235 LBS. I THINK THAT THE LEVY SCOOTER IS THE SAME THING THO🤔 ONLY IT'S MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE X7 PRO🙄 I LIVE IN N.Y. I GET A LOT OF BANG FOR MY BUCK. 😃
@@cristiannaula7280 I'd say closer to 22ish with both, I'm very tall & I gained weight plus, I do door dash so, I'm up to 10 lbs heavier with deliveries. So about 260 in total weight if that helps 😁
@@cristiannaula7280 I'm 180 and I'm getting 10 miles on the highest speed setting. I'm pretty gutted. I bought it based on reviews on here pointing to ~16 miles on the same setting. I'm not sure if some of these guys have the Panasonic battery (additional cost) or what.
@@TechMishka Okay, it wasn't in the user guide that came with mine. I ended up calling a service center on another issue and they told me that if I mess with that it voids the warranty. Mine is the EU version of the same scooter called Smiles X7. Just leaving this here in case someone else has the same question.
Hi! Can I change the highest speed, the maximum speed limit, as many times as I like from that display? So I can change between max speed of 20, 25 and 30 km/h?
There are few different riding modes, but as far as I know there is no way to reprogram them, at least not in a user-friendly way. So you can stich to the defaults...
I'm 95kg On flat trail 8mls at 19mph 10mls at 11mph 12.8ah battery is Same range as 10ah Got 2 scooters 3 batteries £1.140 wasted 😰 Should have bought e-move cruiser 😭
This scooter is very prone to flats. Walmart has a tire sealant solution and you don't even have to take out the valve stem to put it in. It worked for me. Since I've put it in, I haven't had any flats. That's the only bad thing I have to say. Not good on hills, your speed will decrease emmensly and you may have to walk pending on the incline. Besides that, it's a great scooter. I'm 250lbs and I get an average speed of 15-18mph on flats. I also have a backpack and carry up to 20lbs but the scooter gets me there. Great for short commutes. I'll estimate 12 to 15 miles at my weight plus backpack. Any hills, you're fucked. This is a flat scooter. No more than an incline of 10-15 degrees(which will slow you down considerably) or you're walking!!!
Pretty awesome! Wondering which one of these you use the most? If it's not too hot in the summer - I'd use the bike. If too hot - I prefer the scooter.
@@TechMishka I used them both on a tolerable weather , except rain and snow. If it’s scorching hot, I am not out at all. My ebike and esk8 mostly though. E scooter is new to me.
My scooter is really underpowered 😰 3 Batteries all read 12+13v Can someone check their voltage the front 2 terminals The rear one reads nothing Thx in advance 😃
@@TechMishka I like the removable battery option tough, makes it pretty flexible. The big air tires are also very nice. But at this point I still think the Xiaomi Pro 2 or ninebot max is better then this one. A Xiaomi Pro 2 or ninebot max with removable battery would make the perfect commute scooter(and I hope they provide that option in the future, like ninebot did with their ES4 model). Plus at this moment they're are alot of suspension kits available for these 2 which make them even better options.(Monorim etc).
why do you need app for a scooter the more electric features have the more you have to deal with problems think about it the only think i need from a scooter is a ride without flat tires, battery problems, electronic problems etc
There is an app for this scooter, they don't advertise it because it's not made by Turboant. Original manufacturer HX has made an useful app with good features, it's called HX E-scooter. it can be locked also.
@@TechMishka My battery went bad, and they refused to do anything about it. They kept asking for videos of testing it, and kept saying I never gave them a video. Is the x7 pro battery interchangeable with x7 max?
Not sure about it
It's like Xiaomi m365 mark II. Love it. Great video, dude!
Ha, that's interesting comparison! Very much true!
I've got 365 mk1 get 17mls at 15mph,no rattles, brilliant 😎
How do you remove the battery?
There's a push button and then you pull it out.
You push the button on the top and while holding the button you lift upwards from the bottom and it slides right out
