I'm glad to hear that :) If you have any more suggestions for effects that are only in AE, please tell me and I'll try my best to recreate them in Davinci.
After you add on of the transform nodes , just click on the little triangle point right next to the "Center" control ( or the position x / y , depending on what you use ) ! Then go to the frame you want the position to stop and press the triangle point again . That's it !
Hey I have problem, when I put two material at 8:38 , the two colors are glitching, I mean it appears like the tutorial in couple of sec then it appears the second material only then appear it normally I tried to remove and put it again it doesn't fixed my pc is strong and I use d.r 18.6 I don't how to fixed
After Glitching does it stay fixed ? This hasn't happened to me so far but I can try to help . Just help me understand a bit more :) I have the nodes in the description anyway , so you can paste them in the Fusion page and compare them to your nodes ...

at 1:30 how did u manage for turning around the text ?? for me its just moving the text or with the scroll wheel i can go up and down but not all around like u do
Ofc, I am here to answer! I don't know the reason but this sometimes happens. Try toggling the blending modes of the fusion clip, then return it to normal. This has always helped me. You can try re-adding the glow effect as well.
Did you check if the color corrector nodes are properly connected and with the right settings ? This is what gives color . Try messing with the render type , lighting and shadows in the Renderer3D node ...
hey, bro i had the same problem and i tried to fix and found out the problem. it is that the replace material node which is connected to instant 3d text node, just click that replace material node go to inspector, go to replace mode then change alpha mode to keep. it will show both colours in merge 3d node then. Hey, ive pasted the nodes into fusion but when i attach the last node to MediaOut1, all the nodes get red text and i still have a grey sceen. what am i doing wrong
You can try playing with the angle of the letters ... You can also try using different x , y and z values in the SphereMap nodes or even using an entirely different image !
Hey great tutorial man! I have one question: How does one make the bevel material smaller (not the extrusion, but the place it takes up on the surface. So basically how do you make the outlines not so thick xD). I have been trying a lot but it wont work 😅

I will try to help as much as I can . Try switching the composite modes of the fusion composition in the edit page and then putting it back to normal . You can also try disabling and enabling it . If this doesn't work , move the comp around a bit and then put it back to its position . Hope one of those help 😅

1 . It's a bit different in terms of using the effects . But it's deeper than that . The controls are quite different and you can use more effects on After Effects in general . That's why I'm doing tutorials on how to make those effects on Davinci ( GOJO edits are possible on Davinci ofc ) . 2 . You can download the nodes in the description , "Nodes from the tutorial" . I don't have a preset bc it's hard to make some of the controls needed :)

yo bro the node download u provided i downloaded it an pasted the .setting file in fusion templates abnd when i place it in the fusion node tab it pastes but it doesnt display the text or anything and when i try to open the 3d text or renderer in the left veiw every node just turns red can u please help me . and what do i have t connect to the media out?
This can only mean that either you're not connecting Reflect1 to the green input , or you are trying to connect nodes that are not compatible , which means that you might accidentally be using the wrong nodes !
This is a basic function in Davinci ... When you right click on a control it should show the option Deinstance . My only guess is it could be a glitch !
I press ctrl + space on windows and type the node name . If you are just starting out it would be better to watch some other tutorials first , like 'Casey Faris Fusion Page' and some other that will help you understand everything I'm doing better ! In any case I have the nodes free for use in the video's description :)
Might be the Davinci version ... You can try downloading and importing the nodes I use from the description . If it still doesn't work I suppose it's the version !
Make sure the node is properly connected . After that , you need to check that the preview settings on the top of your screen are the default ones ! Other than that it could be a glitch , in which case I would restart Davinci :)

For me it was hardware renderer with same options

the thing i was lacking was correect refletion map

The spacing can be adjusted in the TEXT3D node , where it says "tracking" !

At 4:00 you should move the two top points in the graph lower vertically . This way you can control how much thinner the outline is !

Yes , that's because you haven't replaced the media node with the picture I showed in the tutorial .
