nice dude. my record is probably 20-25 after that the soles of my foot feel like they're burning and socks kinda start tearing skin off. definitely not easy cant imagine how you felt
Also me at my first race: 0:24 "I'm Excited... underprepeared, undertrained and unexpericed" 😂 Great video & effort man! It's normal to recover for days after that increase of exercise volume/distance compared to your normal routine.
Nice job! I've been pushing and paddling 19 miles (30.6 km) 3 days a week. Great upper body exercise and allows you to go farther. 100 km is crazy. I'm gong to buy the Pranayama Cosmic Turtle! Great video! 👍
Pumping will save your body and keep you from getting too tired. When I do long distance I only push to get speed at the start then pump and wiggle to keep the momentum going and pick up more speed. Helps the hip and calve with fatigue. In a 5 mile ride I maybe push for a half mile total. Love the video!!
Wow, nice! My personal distance best was 44 km, on a Pantheon Trip. My pushing foot was definitely sore for the next few days. I’m grateful I didn’t have to navigate traffic to that degree! That’s definitely the part of this that looks the scariest. Great job! Now you can aim for 150 😄
my personal best is also around that distance, the main problem for me though is the board leg quads, there's quite a bit of up hills in my area and my board isn't the lowest. I'm learning to skate switch to balance out the tiredness on both legs. I really want to get a sub 2 hour for 40km
I skate a nice 35k route sometimes when I want to get some distance in. Definitely start feeling it in my feet toward the end. That final stretch must have been brutal.
🤙🏼😮 *100km* wow!! 😲🤙🏼 Love seein the Prana as always, I'm enjoyin watchin your journey with LDP!! Shocked you got to 100km so quickly when you just started goin LDP not long ago, it requires a lot of endurance and I think it's super hot where you are! 👌🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
Great job!!! Endurance is key and you held up well! Now that you’ve done this, you would be better prepared for another challenge. You should bring a friend along for the ride, it may help motivate! All the best!
Just got done with my first 100km trip! Ottawa to Alexandria ontario in 8 hours! For being super undertrained I think that's not bad considering I stopped for food twice. The last 30km sucked but thats cause I was in snow and headwinds for most of it. Craziest part is I may be doing another 60 tomorrow if my legs don't burn too much when I wake up!
Damn! This is sooo impressive mate. U got me inspired, so in the next couple of days I will try to attempt 25 km :D I am still a beginner but this looks like a lot of fun, thanks for the inspiration and keep it up with videos, u doing great :)
See that you're riding the Mcflys now. Would you recommend them over the Seismic Wheels? My Pranayama deck just came in, so I'll be building it out here soon.
Have you tried any topmount pumping yet? It's not as efficient in the long run, but you can do decent distance without as much pain. I imagine it would be good cross-training for downhill due similar but not identical muscle groups.

Congratulations - well done! 100km / 62 miles completed! THAT IS A LOT OF DISTANCE!

Congrats!! Looking smooth with the alternate pushing. I am inspired.

Any plans to do an ultraskate? A little bit of training goes a long way :)

I'llhave to give it a try
Have you tried pumping?
I don't have a proper pumping setup, but I have tried pumping before
